So... Anyone else into voice acting?

I'm going to college for Acting and hope to get into voice acting specifically one day. As a professional career.

For now, I find small productions and games to be cast in. :>

Anyone else like to voice act?

I loved drama in school, I probably had the best vocal range out of the girls as far as acting went, lots of quoting anime and video game characters out loud (I can even do a fairly convincing, if rather feminine Alucard from Hellsing xD) never really considered going into voice acting professionally. I'd love to see what you star in though xP

I'm really interested in getting into Voice acting.
I mostly want to do Video games, Anime, and Animations.
I've done a few little things here and there, as a volunteer, just to get my name out there. I'm looking to get into it more, though.
But work is killing a lot of my audition time.

Here are a few things I'm in.

Prologue
Part 1
These two Links are to a series known as II. A halo series. I play Lou K. Daniels.

World's Fair
And this one is a sort of Horror story. Strange style but interesting enough. I play the main character's dead mother. I only appear for about a minute toward the end of the video. At like... 34:20

I like to do different voices too.
Some I've made up. Or I'm just playing with accents. A few impersonations. Harley Quinn. Elmer Fudd.

It's really cool that you're getting into voice acting. I'd love to know more about it.

Despite how simple it seems, it's one of the most difficult acting fields to get into. It's so specified.

But if you get into it, it's probably one of the most fun jobs you could have. But that's just it. To make a living. You either need to do a lot of small projects or get really popular and asked to do a bunch of big projects.

That's what I was thinking it must be enormously difficult to get your name out there and exposure. To where people want to call YOU vs whomever else submitted material. And you've gotta be GOOD obviously if you want high profile stuff. Do you have any dream projects? Like, " I'd love to work on something like THAT..."

Man... I have a lot of dreams.

But I'd die if I ever got a voice in like... an animated TV series. Or a super awesome video game.
And don't even get me started on Disney animations. Ugh. That'd be beautiful.

Right? Disney would be amazing.
That's the Stanley Cup, Superbowl, Wrestlemania of voice acting.

Of couse a recurrent spot on an animated series would be plenty fulfilling.
Nothing to sneeze at.

Video games are incredible these days. I can see where a great
video game title would be on par with even Disney.

That is a potential career path. Believe it or not, since I was 7 I could do a near perfect imitation of James Earl Jones' Darth Vader voice including breathing. I've since expanded to do many of the voices from Star Wars. for acting itself, I practice with online rp groups on Google Hangouts where we record our sessions.

Ever since I was little, I could do different accents awesomely.
I could do Pokemon voices, like perfectly.
I've always wanted to be a voice actor, but I didn't know how to get into the industry.
:/
I have a small voice, so I'd be perfect for kids or small characters.

My friend is interested in voice acting, and holy crap she is good at it. Her voice is something else, she changes it to throw me off sometimes She makes up her own voices with funny accents and all of the voices she makes up seem to have some kind of character to go along with it. But good luck on your voice acting career! It sounds like a lot of work, but a lot of fun too!
