i've got a question.... what if I have a really awesome ghost story.. but i heard it while i was tourist siting at the place that was supposedly haunted. ANd they told the tale. But i've not actually looked it up online before to see if there is an online written version...
can i retell it to the best of my memory?

I have a silly question..
Would this avie be unaccepted due to the colors? Maybe the orange/yellow thing is.. Bad.

Oh maaaan. I LOVE these themes! Especially Freak Show (as I'm an American Horror Story addict). I just wish I had the time for these. I mean, I could shoehorn my current avatar into freakshow, but I feel like it doesn't really fit.

Okay so I found the history of it

But it doesn't include the ghost story. Just suddenly says that its haunted at the end.

A beautiful Italian opera singer, who fled from Spain with her lover, came to Belhurst Castle as guests of Mrs. Harron. The story follows that the lady’s husband tracked them to the castle. The lovers fled to the wine cellar and tunnels connecting the wine cellar to the carriage house intending to flee again but the irate husband saw vengeance done as the tunnel collapsed on the guilty pair as soon as they entered it.

Since then, dozens of guests have reported seeing the Ghost of Belhurst Castle, a woman standing silently on the front lawn in the middle of the night. When approached, she disappears with a sighing moan.

While our New York castles may not have the same bloody history as those of their European cousins, the hauntings are just as widespread. A tragic history or even a single tragic event can create an iconic haunting when the building that is haunted is a castle.

The story i've heard is that she also had a 7 year old daughter when she fled down the tunnels. Both she and the child died. The husband had tried to close the end connected to the castle but the entire tunnel collapsed on all of them.

She's missing ears for she hears no evil that is directed at her, being arrogant and powerful, but has no issues saying evil things or seeing and then inflicting evils onto others!

Ascadellia: While I am not Linnea, I am going to try to answer your question, by looking at the rules of the contest a second time.

The only colors allowed for this contest are: black, gray (that includes silver), white and only one shade of one color of your choosing.

So looking at your question, I think the answer would be no. As she specifically states that she wants only one color, and you clearly agree that there is both orange and yellow in your background. Perhaps consider a different background?

Linnea will be around later to answer questions herself, but, if you have time, I'd probably just go ahead and redesign your avatar.

Yeah, I like the idea behind it
I want her to have a regular face, and not a skull, but I also don't really like that the skin shows around the stomach of the skeleton when I give her skin. :/ I don't know that I like it with a skull

Hmm, it would be nice if you could have skin on your face but none on your belly. :S

If I did the white skin then it looks like she has none on her belly, but then I think the white face is too much

I even tried the face veils, but they either cover up too much of the neck/chest, or don't cover the nose
