A roasted beast sammich with swiss cheese, tomatos, and lettuce.

The store bought stuff.
Not even deli...so it's pretty much bland.

aH.... at my house we make roast beef in our rotisserie... and then slice it really thin with our slicer and it makes amazing sandwiches!

This processed stuff is cruddy.

it's just chalk full of a bunch of stuff you don't need... homemade we put only a little bit of garlic powder on the outside and slowly cook it :)

The only reason we had it was for a backup while at the racetrack.
Hubby doesn't want us to run out of food.

We really do.
It's a fun weekend.

It was especially nice to havve my sister there.

Yes, she really did.

She only had a couple of meltdowns, so I think it went well.

Did her son enjoy the races?

No...I think you have it a little mixed.

She and her hubby were there.
She lost her son in August, so they're really fragile right now.

I know that, but did her son use to enjoy them?

How is her hubby handling everything?

No...he wasn't a race fan.

I think that's why they enjoyed the races. It wasn't associated with her son, so it was "safe" to be there. No memories.

That's a good thing, how often do you go to the races?
