Damien chuckled and nodded. "I have a house cat too. He is so spoiled."

Sera smiled. "Well, I thought he did."

"And he doesn't get jealous of these guys?" Rose teased before she could stop herself. When she realized what she said, she blushed a bit. It was WAY too easy to talk to him.

"Well, I'd hate to get onto your bad side, then," Taylor replied. Absently, he checked the time. "I think you've missed most of your tour by now... I must have kept you too long, I'm sorry."

"He knows when not to argue with the big cats," Damien said with a little laugh. "Luckily for him."

"That's okay. I don't mind. This was more fun." Sera smiled.

"Lana isn't going to be pleased," Rose mused, "but she'll get over herself."

"I'm glad you thought so, then," Taylor replied to Sera.

Damien chuckled. "I know the feeling." He started walking over to the next exhibit, the tigers.

Sera smiled briefly at him. "I should probably go find my friend, too," she said, glancing around automatically.

Rose followed him. She wanted to see all the big cats, or as many as she could.

"Friend?" Taylor repeated. He hadn't seen anyone with Sera earlier.

"Here are our two tigers. They're brothers." Damien nodded to the two tigers, who were off to the side playing and wrestling with each other. "They're still young idiots."

"Yeah. I think she must still be with Damien. I haven't seen her since then, so." Sera shrugged, looking back towards the cat area.

"Reminds me of my dad's cat," Rose commented. "He's like that, too. My mother's cat, on the other hand, is one of those that if you haven't touched her in the last thirty seconds, then she's obviously terribly neglected and is therefore entitled to interrupt whatever you're doing to force you to pay attention to her." Rose shook her head a bit, grinning. "The cats in my family have it made, though. We spoil them rotten and they end up living twice as long as other cats. We're still not sure how they manage that one."

"With Damien?" Taylor asked. That was interesting. "Are you sure she didn't go back to the group?"

Damien laughed quietly. "Animals do tend to amaze us," he said with a knowing little smile as the two tigers wrestled, growling playfully. One of them got up and leaped over to the glass between them, watching with amber eyes, while the other stayed low to the ground, slowly stalking up behind him.

"No, I'm not sure. But I didn't see her by the time the rest of the group left your office, so I'm assuming she was still with Damien then." Sera frowned, a little concerned.

"It must be wonderful to work with all of the cats," Rose commented. "Mildly terrifying, but wonderful."

"We can always go find Damien and see," Taylor offered. "The big cat exhibis aren't all that big, so there are only so many places where he could be." And that way, he'd get to keep talking to Sera.

"Yes, that's basically right." Damien smiled. "It's fun to watch them." One of the tigers pounced on the other, causing them both to crash into the glass.

"That sounds good. Let's go find them." Sera glanced around before starting to head over to the big cat area.

Rose jumped when the tigers ran into the glass, but managed not to shriek or anything.

Taylor followed Sera. He was fairly sure he knew where Damien would be hanging out, if he was still in the cat enclosures, since there were a few cats active at night. After a few moments of looking, he saw Damien with who he assumed was Sera's friend.

"I think that's them," he said.

"Don't worry, the glass won't break. We tested it. We've thrown a lot more weight against it than these two can make." Damien smiled a little.

"Yeah, that's them. Hey Rose!" Sera jogged over to them. "Wow. Beautiful tigers."

"Just startled me, that's all," Rose defended. She turned around quickly when she heard Sera. "Is the tour over already?" she asked when her friend got closer.

Taylor followed Sera, nodding to Damien when they got close to them.

"Yeah, I think so. I got sidetracked." Sera smiled. "I think this was better anyway, though."

Damien nodded to Taylor, glancing at Rose. "Well, if you'd like I can show you both the rest of the cats." He raised his eyebrows just a little.

Rose nodded.

"I'd like to see the rest of the cats," she said. She quickly crushed the little voice in her head that whispered that she wanted to spend a bit more time here as well.

Taylor rolled his eyes a bit.

"Somehow, I'm not surprised you managed to find the one person in the group who likes cats as much as you do," he joked.

"Animal magnetism," Damien joked with a grin. "Come on. The other two exhibits are right over here. We have a couple of lions, and then we also have some fishing cats. They should all be up and about right now."

Sera went to go look at the lions first, interested in seeing what lions they had.

Rose went with Sera, interested in the lions as well.

Taylor followed the others. He had nothing else to do at the moment.

Sera smiled as she watched the lions lounging around, one of the females getting up and moving over to the group to lay with them.

"Having fun?" Damien muttered to Taylor, smirking a little as he dawdled behind the two girls.

"They're so beautiful," Rose murmured. Of course, she said that about all the cats, but still.

"I could ask you the same thing," Taylor replied. "That was a terrible joke earlier, by the way."

"Yeah, they are. Too bad they're not playing around." Sera smiled a little.

"I couldn't help it." Damien grinned.

"Still," Rose replied. "I'm glad I skipped the rest of the tour."

Taylor rolled his eyes. "At least I haven't felt the need to make bad jokes yet tonight," he commented.

"Yeah, me too. This was more fun." Sera smiled and watched the lions for a bit longer.

"Too bad. That could be amusing." Damien grinned. "So, you like the other girl?"

"Definitely," Rose agreed.

"I guess that depends on the definition of 'like' you had in mind," Taylor replied. "I could as you the same thing." He glanced over towards Sera's friend and back at Damien.

"Come on, let's go look at the fishing cats." Sera moved over to the other exhibit, looking at the house-cat sized wild cats attempting to catch some fish.

"She is interesting. I enjoy her company." Damien glanced over at him. "What do you mean by 'like'?"
