That does look messier, but 7'3" should never pass as 8 feet! O_O

Liking how the topic of conversation quickly switched from thread killing to weather temperature to imperial and metric measurements.

I tend to kill my own threads actually, wouldn't consider it suicide because even though I created the threads I am not the threads I create.

Today the weather here has been forecasted at 38 degrees...and that's celsius so pretty warm if not hot. But that's a summer Christmas.

Hi Kalium! *waves*

That just means we're well-informed on a wide variety of topics.

And that is actually kind of nice, to be able to maintain a continual flow of conversation with smooth transitions between topics.

Ling, are you crazy? 40 degrees Celsius should be sizzling hot (if not as bad as 52 degrees, which sometimes happens in Saudi Arabia)!

What's a normal range of summer temperatures in Celsius?

In Turkey, it tends to be between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. May go down to 20 in northeast.

I've been wondering, since I know 40°C is really hot. It's weird to me because in 40°F, you're wearing a coat.

oh lol.
the temperature measuring unit is both unfamiliar to me.
I can't imagine numbers in temperature, especially when the thing measured is not visually seen.

I am no fan of animals...
in real life, I don't get near them... *shivers*
... but where did that squirrel reference come from? I am not familiar with your squirrel story.

Because "squirrel" rhymes with "girl" and is one syllable.

The hottest temperature I've ever experienced that I remember is 45 degrees celsius...this year I went out once when it was 43...now that was scorching hot. Just stepping outside beyond the door my eyes needed to adjust to the sudden brightness of the sun...
