As Victor laid down, Gabriel felt absolutely pathetic. Not only because he was curling up against Victor, resting his head on the vampire's chest, but also because he felt so downright awful. "I don't need a nurse..." He too was very aware of that gun under the pillow, the boy's beloved 'Ribz'. It was his sole protection against the demonic blood-suckers, and even against his boyfriend. Never did Gabe hesitate to pull the gun out from underneath that pillow when he felt his mortality was threatened, he even had the right mind in the middle of an impassioned make-out session to pull that gun out. He sighed heavily, his heart beating faster than he wanted it to. The chest he was laying on had no heartbeat whatsoever. "Can.. you stay with me tonight?" Even though he said he didn't want a nurse.. jeeze.

Rosalynda was furious, as could be told by her expression. It was probably a good thing that Bellatrix took off right after her comment, because Lynda growled and took a swipe at the Chairman, the woman was gone before she could be hit. "You come back here, right now!" She almost got out of the wheel chair to pursue the blond woman, instead she huffed and rolled the chair after her, it was quite a sight I'm sure. Seeing as Aunt Rose would cut Bella off before she could reach the door, and immediately had a sword drawn, a positively frightening smile on her face. "Bella dear, whether or not we were dating at one time prior to this, does not mean that it is perfectly acceptable for you to simply place yourself into my lap as if we are currently lovers! You, being the Chairwoman of this prestigious school are a complete and utter ditz if I ever saw one!" Oh, I assure you she has more to say..

Mala winces as she remains still the voices of two women argueing irritating her. "one of those is the head mistress, i remember her voice from when we met earlier this evening... i wonder who the other is... she sounds quite irritated." Mala herself felt nothing was wrong with the relationship they adviosly still had going between them, raised with understanding foster parents, who repsected her sexuality prefrences, she had grown up with an open mind. "any louder and theyll wake up the rest of what ever students may be sleeping at this time" her thoughts were tinged with amusement despite her irritation as the fealings of the two women still showed through the tone of theyre words despite what was actually being said. "anyways i must concentrate, at least this bickering will help to cover any minute noises i make in my wait" mala was an extremely good hunter of animals, and even if the person shes is hunting is human (((remember she still doesnt know about vampires))) it still doesnt mean that she may or may not have as sharp of hearing as an animal does

The vampire was all to aware at of the fast, and loud mind you, heartbeat of the vampire hunter that was currently laying beside him. It sounded like music to the Night student. And a signal that meant that his lover was still human, still fragile. No matter how much proud or attitude Gabriel had. He almost chuckled when he heard the human speak against the whole nurse idea, but looked at him with soft, blue eyes at the request that he stay with him tonight. Victor smiled and kissed the hunter's forehead, placing one hand on the boy's head, ruffling his dark hair slightly. "Yeah. I'll make sure you get enough sleep tonight." Was what the vampire had said, but leaning in to kiss the boy gingerly, but passionately, on the lips wasn't exactly a helping idea.

An annoyed sigh passed Bella's lips when she stood mere inched away from the end of the sword. That only meant that Aunt Rosa had caught her, but the Headmistress still had a few things up her sleeve. The frightening smile on Rosa's lips did not scare the woman, having seen that particular smile all too many times, so she merely crossed her arms over her chest. Ditz was a word that she was all too accustomed to.
"Rosalynda, babe, you shouldn't get so upset every time I sit on your lap. People will begin to question our relationship." Again, another wink and the woman took a few steps back, jumping slightly as she sat on a desk, crossing her legs and just naturally positioning herself in a sitting position that would indicate that she was feeling quite attractive that evening.

If Mala had been close enough for Rosalynda to hear she may have paid the girl some attention, however Bellatrix and Miss Robella were in a school classroom whereas Mala was outside in the bushes, stalking after one of the guardians. Instead she laid the sword across her lap and diverted her eyes from the far too sensual headmistress. Really the woman did not know how to conduct herself in a professional manner in the least. [b]"I already question our relationship."[b] Then Rose decided that she wanted to change the subject, "Bella, I was going over student files today, is it true that we have a Night Class student that isn't aware of her nature?" Lynda sounded vaguely concerned.

Gabriel was blushing, but that could have been from the very slight fever he had, had he had that all day? No, going out into the brisk night air probably didn't help. He had kept himself pretty much in his room all day, did a lot of low energy stuff. Such as cleaning and taking care of the roses. He appreciated Victor's cool lips against his head nonetheless. And that passionate kiss definitely did not reinforce what Victor had said about making sure Gabriel would have plenty of sleep. The dark haired human returned the kiss, grabbing Victor's shirt in his fists, pulling him closer. Now now, boys. Keep it PG-13.

"when eaves-dropping one must also expect to hear bad things about them selves" unbidden her grandparents words sounded in her ear as she heard the lady change the subject. closing her ears to the conversation whe resume attention on her stalking of the other female, unsure whare or what she was doing to not have passed by yet. "she waits too much longer and ill grow old and whithered before she gets here" she was eager to be on her way wanting to be out of listening range of the headmistress and her lovers disscusion now.

Lady Cross uncrossed her legs as she gave this look to the teacher, this angered look that asked why she had changed the subject. But sighed, she knew that it was futile to change the subject back to what they were originally arguing about. "Yes, Miss Pysevar. It seems parents are finding it a custom to raise their children as something they are not..." The blonde spoke, running her fingers through her hair once more. "So far, from what I've gather, she's drunk the blood tablets and hunted small animals. She occasionally has been smelling like a human, so I do hope her preference for human blood isn't so strong." Bellatrix jumped off the desk and walked over to the windows, crossing her arms over her chest as she sighed, leaning slightly on the glass. "Let is hope she doesn't freak out when she discovers what she truly is... Or attack another student out of pure thirst." This woman had a very good reason to worry. Having run the school for nearly eight years has taught her many things. The major one being that there were still humans, and vampire, out there that wanted this school to be destroyed.

Victor never overstepped his boundaries when around Gabriel. Unless he gets too into their kissing. That would only slowly become a problem as shirts were thrown off, his cool lips hiding fanged teeth that urged to bite into the soft, warm human flesh of the boy underneath him only caused them to become sharper. Amazing how much control Victor had for a vampire his age, no? There was only one good thing about what they were doing now; Victor's cool skin coming in contact with a flushed Gabriel would help cool the boy down.

[ Time skip now, yes? Remember, yell at me for whatever was messed up during this process. =D ]

So the following couple of days were uneventful, thank goodness. More and more students had arrived at the school, very few new additions to the student body, but many new additions to the staff. Only one man, out of the new teachers, seemed very suspicious to the Headmistress, but this man would go unnamed until the rightful time. Standing in a dress that she only wore on the opening day of the school every year, the Headmistress, only minutes ago, had welcomed everyone at the annual ceremony. Now she was standing near the lake, sitting on one of the many outdoor love-seats, the Chairman before her, had placed around the lovely lake. She was deep in thought, something that was a rare sight to see.

Victor was standing by the gates, in a brisk, new school uniform with his rapier at his side, as he watched the parents of the students and anyone else who came to see the ceremony off into the horse drawn carriages that would take them to the parking lot just a mile or so away. The students had to cut off from the world as much as possible, but that didn't mean that parents couldn't see their parents once last time before school began. Which is why two Headmasters ago, the opening ceremony was opened to everyone related or close to the students that were to attend Cross Academy. The departure from their family, for that school year, or until Christmas break, was hard on a few students, a few Day students actually crying as their parents and friends left. Victor stood, almost stone-like, besides the gates as he watched, carefully, around for suspicious actions. He was the Guardian assigned for that job, the other three were off doing some other assignment. Who knew what jobs the Chairwoman had given the other three. Victor just knew that, humans were never to be trusted during the opening of the school.

[OoC| Yay, finally! Sorry for not posting... I was kinda waiting for the time skip...]

Happy eyes greeted both the students and the parents to the opening ceremony grounds. Yes, this was the job she was asked to do by the Headmistress of Cross Academy; make sure everyone made it to the opening ceremony safely. Well, it was a bit of an annoying job, but her real purpose didn't begin until the school term actually started. Most of the Day class students were oblivious about the Night class students... Well, their real nature at least. This caused the Chinese female to sigh inwardly; however, she kept her smile, along with a tired yawn.

Another sleepless night once more for her. Oh curses, she mentally pouted as she pointed another family toward the correct direction as to where to go. I have a bit until the ceremony began... she continued as she noticed that the crowd started to die down and that most of the tenets were already at the grounds. Perhaps a short short would do her some good. And again, the female yawned--Taking this as a sign that her body really needed the rest. Looking around, Serenity slowly dragged herself to a slightly more secluded and quiet area.

The area was a grassy patch and held a few trees on it. It was the perfect spot for her to rest. Once again, she yawned, allowing her body to relax as she sat against the trunk of the tree; her legs folded to the side as she gently placed her head against its trunk. Rini only wanted to rest, it wasn't going to be long... Just long enough for her to restore some much needed energy. And again she yawned, letting her eyes close and before she knew it, she was knocked out.

Mala had watched the girl fall asleep under her as she sat in the tree. the sun normally hadnt bothered her but today it ahd been annoying, and she had gone into the trees for a good place to hide moments before the female had headed her way and layed down to sleep. hanging upside down by her legs Mala dropped down so that her head was closer to the girls sleeping form. "this is the girl who i had tried to follow that night" she was refering to two nights ago as she continued to pear down at the girl above her. twisting her head slightly she gasped in shock as she spied what appeared to be weapons on the girl "arent they not soppose to have them?"

Madison stood, lower lip pouted in thought, outside the gates of the school. Behind her, a cab had begun unloading her bags from the trunk of the car. Her father had set everything up for her so that she would get to the school safe. She had gotten off the bus around noon the day before and met Tim, her boss, to see what sort of work she would be doing on the weekends. Apparently, she was going to be answering the phone for the company. Madison was a bit to excited about such a mundane job. She bounced on the heels of her shoes as she paid and tipped the cab driver, picking up her bangs and slinging them over her shoulder she stepped towards the gates of the school. For some reason, she had a tugging feeling in her chest but she brushed it off as first day nervousness. After all, her father had high hopes that this school would allow Madison to lead a life that she hadn't before. She pulled the bags tighter over her shoulders and continued to walk, a smile painted on her face. She just needed to drop her stuff off at the dorms and then she'd figure out her next steps.

The Chinese Junior shifted her body, feeling a slightly unfamiliar presence near her. Unfamiliar, yet slightly familiar; mainly because it was the same presence that had practically stalked her those two nights ago while she was on shift. This caused her to stir, her eyes fluttering open, which somewhat bothered her. Serenity yawned, lifting her hand and covering her mouth while doing so.

"Ow..." she somewhat winced as she felt a loud crack of her bone. The guardian then shook her head before turning her head toward the person in front of her, "Uhm... Hello, can I help you?" She questioned the female in front of her. After blinking a few times, she once again yawned, "Mmmm... The Opening Ceremony might be starting soon; if you're lost... I can escort you to the ceremony grounds." Taking this moment, Serenity then pushed herself up... Allowing her to stretch her slightly stiff joints before she adjusted the holster that held her dear twin guns. Serenity the flashed her a tired but cheerful smile at her observer, "Nice to meet you by the way. I'm Serenity Chen, a junior in the Day Class~May I ask of yours?"

Mala had gave a small squeak of surprise when the person awoke under her and alsmost felling down she had to scramble to regain her grip. As she was asked her name she blinked. "Oh, I'm Malaana V. Pysevar, but you can call me Mala." Mala's name though pretty was a mouthful which is why she perfers to be called Mala. "and thanks but no thanks on the orientation... I already have had an... orientation. besides the sun was bothering me so I decided to sneak out her into the shade." Mala peers at Serenity before asking "why are you not there? The orientation I mean."

Dropping down to the ground from her branch Mala stands up lightly patting her self off. "as to What I am, im a freshman, and im in the night class." the way Mala stated it showed she adviously didnt know what all the hub bub was about the whole night class. ((remember she still thinks shes human)) "Im staying in the moon dorm... yourself?"

Serenity merely nodded gently before straightening out her new uniform and smiled cheerfully, "Well if you want, you can call me Rini... It'd prefer it anyway~" The Chinese girl could help but laugh lightly at that. And again she nodded at the girl's reasoning as to not attend the opening orientation, "Well, the Opening Orientation also allows the students to get to know the staff, teachers and other students. But eh... It's also rather boring as well, I really don't blame you if you don't want to attend."

She then blinked at the girl, who had asked why she wasn't at the ceremony either, "Uhm..." she paused eying her for a few moments before shrugging, "I was actually resting before the ceremony began... And I was originally going to attend, but I somewhat don't want to. But I probably should, I'm part of the staff anyway..." And again she laughed, "I also don't want to get in any trouble either."

The Night Class?
So, that explained why she was trying to hide in some shade. It was rather sunny outside... But she was also a bit surprised as well. However, Serenity wasn't going to say or do anything... As long as Mala wasn't causing any trouble... "I see then, well... As long as you follow the rules and such, I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here in Cross Academy~" And within that moment, she yawned, "I stay in Sun Dorms... So yeah..."

Over the past two days, the crippled teacher Rosalynda Robella readied her class room for the semester to come. She really didn't put together any lesson plans, despite the woman's uptight and organized appearance, she preferred to wing class with the Night Students. Actually she just simply wasn't as organized and strict as she appeared to be, but that was her secret. At the opening ceremony she greeted the students and teacher's accordingly, hardly offering a smile. Actually she looked quite bored, and preoccupied. When the ceremony ended she saw the Chairman head towards the lake and sighed. She had noticed something had been on Bellatrix's mind. So reminding herself that watching after the conduct of the students was partly the job of the Guardian's she rolled off towards the lake, not an easy thing to do with a wheelchair mind you, and parked right next to the love seat. "What's bothering you, Bella?"

Gabriel Minster had a severe cold over the past two days, so at the ceremony he looked particularly pale and grumpy. Normally the boy simply looked bored in everything he did, if you looked at his expression and the expression of Miss Robella one might be able to guess that they could be related, however there were small circles under his eyes. He had been chastised on taking better care of himself by his aunt. As the ceremony ended, Gabriel watched every student as they bid farewell to their parents and left. He wasn't surprised to see that many Night Class students weren't accompanied by their parents. This was probably the only time aside from dances that the day and night class were allowed to mingle. It made him uncomfortable. Shading his face from the sun he walked towards a cover of trees and saw Mala jump from a tree, a guardian standing nearby. He hid behind a tree, sighing, his hand already on the gun that he kept strapped at his side, under his uniform. Human's weren't to be trusted? Vampires can't be trusted, no matter the circumstance... even though Gabe expected a guardian to be able to take care of themselves, the dark-haired boy couldn't drop his prejudices. Such a hypocrite.

Lady Cross jumped in her seat when she heard Rosalynda's voice. The woman hadn't heard the other woman come up to her, having been far too deep in her thoughts. Of course, the blond's instant response would have been to say that nothing was bothering her, but seeing as she jumped in front of the crippled and stubborn woman, she had to say something. "I'm not sure." Were her first words, glancing at the woman with a slightly concerned look. "There's not much I can tell you, Rose, for it's a feeling of mine, and you know how my feelings are usually wrong..." Her long hair was tied in a bun, she all she could do was mess with the bangs that covered her face. "But there is a teacher that just makes me feel greatly uncomfortable." The Headmistress uncrossed her legs, smoothed out the skirt of her dress, and crossed her legs again.

As less and less people walked passed the gates, Victor was able to relax his body. Giving a heavy sigh, the Night class boy began to walk towards the direction of the dorms, but stopped in mid step as he stretched, hearing a few bones crack, before sighing once more. Many people seemed to have been getting less and less sleep the last couple of days, including the Guardians. Hopefully, a sleep schedule would be in place soon. Even vampires needed their sleep. Stifling back a yawn, the dark-haired Senior thought it would be best to take a small walk first before having to deal with the students. Taking a shortcut through the small forest area around the lake, Victor caught the voices of two females, but the scents of many students and staff. That particular area was a favorite for everyone in the school apparently. Actually allowing himself to yawn this time, the blue-eyed vampire walked over to the opening of the forest where the lake was at. Heading towards the edge of the body of water, not noticing either his aunt or mother, the boy splashed a bit of water on his face, hoping to wake himself up a little more.
"Today's gonna be a long day..." He muttered, removing a handkerchief from his pocket to dry off his face.

"Cross Academy?"

"Certainly m'lady."

"What benefit would this practice grant me?"

"Perhaps none at the moment, hence you're fairly equipped youserlf m'lady. Though I believe it would serve your needs greatly in future."

A delicate hand parted heavy curtains slightly, and a pale face glanced outside. Sun was shining above brightly, still high, away from twilight. She let curtain drop as she lowered her hand, then her eyes lingered over the room, brushing over a name briefly; Crystal Adelaide Ravencroft. That was her, the family crest was sitting on her suitcase silently.

So to speak, he had said. Could an existence with humans be possible for the vampires? This question still lingers in the air, waiting to be answered.

Her counselor had talked her into enrolling this academy. Crystal wasn't actually afraid showing her face, though having to socializing with every kind of individuals was a little tensing if not annoying. She stopped before the mirror before leaving her room, checking her appearence. Her white hair had a soft shade of light blue, it was tied into a ponytail with a dark red ribbon at her neck. She touched lightly at collar of her uniform, fabric was feeling soft under the touch, delicate. She looked into the eyes of her reflection, she could hear unaudible thoughts of a few people around the Moon dorm. Finally deciding she spent enough time in her room, Crystal left her room, grabbing an umbrella as well.

First step required much courage, sun was warm, bright and intimidating. She walked outside slowly, then stopping at top stair, she looked up. Her face was burning with sunlight, tickling almost. She decided to not challenge, then opened her white umbrella, allowing herself a cooler shade. She listened to the voices thinking, then a scent hit her. Vampires, unmistakably... She looked at the way towards the lake, then started walking down the path. She stopped under the trees, a little behind the ladies sitting by the water.

"Headmistress Cross?" she called out in a gentle voice, almost melodic and serene. "I'm Crystal Ravencroft, I believe we didn't have chance to met before." she said, smiling beautifully.

She decided to not make notice of the boy at the lake, people liked to think their thoughts were well hidden. Ruining it never proved any good, besides, why letting yourself out all of a sudden?

" but why attend something you dont like?" as Mala spoke with Rini she smeeled and heard another body coming up behind her. Turning towards the body she is slighly surprised that someone came over of their own will. seeing that he also had a weapon she blinks before looking between the two of them. "umm was there a memo i didnt get about bringing weapons to this school or something?" turning towards the male again she is surprised when she notices dark cicles under his eyes "are you ok?" "wonder why hes not getting any sleep... maybe hes sick?"

Madison carried her bags into the room and dropped them on the bed, opening one and pulling out the rest of her uniform. She wasn't sure she was supposed to be wearing it so she had left off some of the pieces. She put them on and glanced at herself in the mirror, smoothing the skirt down and straightening the collar. She smiled and half walked, half bounced out of the dorms again, ready to make some new friends. She smiled as she passed other students, noticing that many of them were already gathered in small groups. Please say this isn't a really cliquey school, she thought as she walked out to the front lawn again. She stopped on the top and looked around herself; bounding down the stairs she strolled casually away from the building. She noticed small clumps of people even outside and stopped to look around for anyone that might be alone - it wasn't like Madison to encroach on peoples' conversations. She began walking again, eventually coming to the edge of a lake and giggled with excitement. This school is awesome, she thought and turned to look around for someone to share in the excitement with. She finally spotted someone standing solo, a boy dressed in white with a...sword!? Her jaw dropped for a moment then her smile returned and she approached the boy slowly "Hi, I'm Madison," she said.

Rose grinned a bit when Bellatrix discredited her own feelings, however the smile fell when she spoke of a teacher that made her uneasy. Even though Bella may discredit her own gut feelings, Rose wasn't that quick. "I can look into it if you like, I have more than one reason for being here you know." Why did she always have to remind the headmistress of that? Well, so that dear Trixy didn't think that Aunt Rose was only about to make her carefree-spirit come down to earth. Then students left and right appeared, one greeting Headmistress Cross and another greeting Victor who was by the water. Rose gazed at them passively.

Gabriel stiffened when the vampire girl noticed him, he had no idea that she was unaware of her own nature. He let go of the gun, even though he had already been busted. He grimaced and leaned against the tree in plain sight. Though he was surprised that a Night Class student would ask such a silly question. "Technically only the Disciplinary Committee is allowed to have weapons on school grounds." He grinned a bit and decided to show her his gun after all, having come up with a clever little story. "Mine is a fake, it doesn't hold any bullets and it can't shoot.. It belonged to someone I was very close to.. I keep it on me because it means so much to me."

He felt as if it were a lame story, but he figured only Aunt Rose and Victor would be able to rat him out on it. He rubbed one of his eyes, feeling headache coming on just when Mala decided to ask if he was ok. "I'm fine... Just getting over a cold." He shook his head, his voice had been his stereotypical monotone the whole time he spoke, helping to add to the truth of his cold. However now he was thinking, this Night Class student was awfully naive, if she knew anything she would have realized what sort of gun his was right off of the bat. It must be a ploy.. With that thought he strongly reminded himself not to drop his guard around Mala.

He looked at her dumbfounded for a moment, No vampire can be this naive.. She must be good at acting.. He shifted uncomfortably and tucked the gun away. "My dad.." He didn't like talking about his parents, and he was hoping she wouldn't ask anymore questions, he wasn't used to being drilled for them. Though he had changed a lot since he first came to Cross academy a little over a year ago, he would have absolutely refused to answer any of Mala's questions a year ago, and may have even drawn the gun on her. He forced a laugh when she asked if the crime was that bad, "It's mostly for show." He shrugged his shoulders, closing his eyes against the headache. "Private schools." He stated, opening his dark brown eyes again, as if that statement were to explain everything.

Bellatrix shook her head at Rosalynda, giving the woman a look as to forget about what she said. "I know. But I'd rather give it some time before looking into anything... I really could just be wrong about my instinct." The woman forced a smile upon her pale lips when a voice of a student calling her name reached her ears. The Headmistress turned her head to the direction of the voice to see one of her Night students heading her way. Noting the umbrella, she could tell that this one would take a while to get use to the sun. "Hello there, Miss Ravencroft. How are you accustoming yourself with the social change?" The golden-eyed woman asked, motioning for the student to come closer. Bells had noticed her son on the lake's edge, as well as a Day class student approach him. Victor looked a lot paler than usual, having gotten barely any sleep the last couple of days for security purposes. Hopefully his thirst wasn't as bad, the woman did not feel like using her ability on any of her students this year, not like the year before.

Victor spotted dry-patting his face when he heard a female's voice. Looking up, his icy blues were staring at a Day student, which caused his body to stiffen momentarily. But the boy was raised with manners, so he mentally kicked himself as he stood up, folding the handkerchief and placing it back into his pocket before bowing at the female. "A pleasure. I am Victor Cross, a member of the Disciplinary Committee." He stood up straight, placing a hand in between the pommel and hilt of his rapier, a habit of his. "Is there anything I can help you with, Miss Madison, or are you merely taking a stroll, like many students, on this fine day?" You could almost hear his French accent as he spoke. Victor's birth mother had taught him to behave around females, whether or not he knew them, so this was a sight one would see every time a female student would come up the dark-haired vampire.

[ Yay for being able to post even with a purring kitten in your lap! XD ]

"Private... schools?" now Mala was really confused as she had never been to a private school being taught in a public school "forgive me but im unfamilar with this whole thing, this is the first time Ive been to a school like this... ive looked at the schedule and all but im still confused... why do they have students sepperated? Why are you both carrying weapons, even if they are just for show, and why are you looking at me with such distaste?" for Mala had noticed that the male student did not like her for what ever reason and, though she had often been accused of being such, she was being quite strait foward in her (should be advious) confusion.

"Oh, no. I'm just wandering around. I've basically got the map memorized, that should be good enough, right?" Madison said, shifting her weight It's nice to meet you Victor Cross of the Disciplinary Committee, she paused and then tilting her head to the side she chuckled "I have no idea what the Disciplinary Committee is but I'm assuming that's why you have a weapon? she said, not allowing her imagination to run wild on thoughts of why a school would need a Disciplinary Committee. She ran her fingers through her hair and studied Victor's face, committing it to memory. Dark hair, light eyes...got it. Studying his uniform and his face, Madison decided he must be a member of the night class. Though having read up on the school thoroughly, Madison was still confused by the Night Class/Day Class. Well, until now. There was definitely a difference between her and the boy she was talking to. Madison mentally shrugged no reason to judge anyone she thought.

It seemed so very quiet, so very lonely, so very... Untouched. A frail form, a young girl, a young vampire to be exact, stood silently in the entry way of the Moon Dorm facing the living room. How beautiful. She smiled kindly, a sweet smile that would make anyone diabetic, a smile that could warm the coldest day or the emptiest heart. As a vampire, she looked absolutely harmless, no one would ever guess her special ability. Dainty steps were taken as she drifted farther in, today would be her first day among the Night Class. She had yet to change into her new uniform, although it passed her standards on the 'cuteness' scale, she wanted a few more minutes in the clothes she brought from home. A long jean skirt hugged her hips, a slit running down to the hem which ended at the ankles of her leather knee-high boots. Two shirts covered her upper body, a rose-colored long sleeve top followed by a brown skinny-sleeved top. Lastly, sitting on top of her head, a brown hat staked its claim, the corners peeking up like that of a cat's ears while a ribbon swept down below her chin, playing at her collarbone. Who said vampires needed to dress extravagantly, she preferred simple anyway. A small hand ran across the white cushions of the living room before she seated herself in front of the fountain, listening to the pleasant sound of trickling water dripping down the marble sides. She hoped her time here would be as pleasant as the fountain. She was, in truth, nervous, especially since she'd be around purebloods. She had never been comfortable around purebloods, especially having to be so polite and formal. Informalities were much rather preferred. What made this almost even more comfortable, she didn't know where to start in the school.

"A habit of following orders..." was all Serenity managed to say before Mala took interested on her fellow Day Student... Gabriel. A small smile appeared on her lips and she silently greeted him before they two began to talk. Serenity could only stand there, listening quietly as the two spoke about the weapons she and the boy were carrying. She hesitated on saying anything, figuring that she could take this chance to leave and continue with her shift. "Well, I'm in the Disciplinary Committee. Its a special club for students, like myself to pretty much be the security for the Academy. There's only a few of us however, but its enough to cover ground whenever anything bad comes up. So anyway! I best be going, I have some... Disciplinary Committee work to do~ Perhaps you could show her around the school Gabriel! She's new you know~" Not allowing any time for him to speak, Serenity side stepped away and hurried her pace around the corner. I need to find a better area to rest... She sighed inwardly as she dragged herself toward the lake.

After that short walk, Serenity heard some voices... A new one and a familiar one she knew all too well. The Chinese girl couldn't help but sigh out loudly, practically within hearing range of the two. Even if she was rather close, she was hoping that they didn't notice her...
