Sweeping into a bow, Ercothe rose and spoke not only his name, but the name of the female he was with. "This is the lovely Aurora and I am Eron. I can't speak for my new friend, but I certainly have not attended a school where teachers prefer riches over education." He dared not ask the woman for her name, as she came across gruff and mean. Had she wanted to reveal her name, she would have done so after rudely asking for his.

Now that the talk of jailers had a meaning, Ercothe slipped into his mind. Mulling over the memories, he shook his head. "I'm most certain my teachers were very much concerned with my education. Though, their devotion might have been prompted by pay. I believe in the good of mankind so until told otherwise, I'll believe them to be pure and true."

It was actually an odd thing to really think about. Brows furrowing as his mind tried to figure out whether or not his teacher was true or greedy, he finally broke into a light laugh. "Well, I suppose that's just the public school system for you. At least we've textbooks to learn from, right?"

Rylan chuckled and smiled at Azar. "Sounds like you went to a lot of the same schools as I did. Truth be told the teachers in juve arnt always as bad as public schools." He smiled thinking bout a few of the old teachers he had run into during his time bouncing around. He nodded to the two new people. "That all depends on what you call textbooks sometimes they are little more the cardboard holding paper. I'm Rylan. This is Amelia and the one with the fiery disposition is Azar."

As Ercothe bowed Azar tried not to sneer at him. What man bowed to others in this day and age? “You have been lucky that you have not had to deal with people set on money not education.” Her voice was cold and she seemed to not want anything to do with him. As he continued to speak it became clear that he was rich and did not really know what ordinary people lived. “some of the textbooks that are out there disagree with each other. There are some states that have laws that you cant have a text book in the classroom unless it was written and printed in that state.” Looking over at Rylan she rolled her eyes. “I am not Fiery, I just dislike people that feel they are entitled to do as they wish and not respect others.”

"Perhaps," he commented. His voice was more monotone this go around. He could catch the faintest hints that some of the individuals before him might not be overly fond of his disposition. Still, Ercothe wouldn't loosen up or become more uncivilized just to fit in. If enemies were made, so be it. One cannot rule a kingdom without hatred from the opposition. One cannot achieve greatness without being pushed to that peak by someone who's doubting their every move. Regardless, Ercothe refused to let such petty things pummel him.

At the tail end of Azar's snide remark, Ercothe raised a brow. "I apologize if you find my actions rude or unorthodox, but I treat all who I meet with utter respect. Even the rats have my respect for without them, how would life go on. Every thing, big or small, has a large role in life and I intend to respect every one of them down to the final singe celled organism, the protozoan." Oh great, he scoffed to himself, he just had to flaunt fancy terms and knowledge. It would just give them more reasons to mock him.

Amelia listened staying quiet next to Azar then thought this was going to start getting awkward really soon. "Uh come on Azar, we should probably get our schedules now, we don't want to be late to class, walk with me?" she was working on keeping this from turning bad and hopefully she would succeed, if not well at least she tried. Tugging Azar by the arm to start walking she kept her sweet smile upon her face. "It's nice to meet you Ercothe, but we really should get going" so far no one was looking at them while they were having the discussion minus the small group that they formed.

Crimson eyes lingered on the small group of students by a tree. They were slowly making their way towards the school building. The boy recognized two of them from earlier this morning. They had been the ones he mostly ignored on his way to school. Just like before something was strange about them and the three others they were now with. Lonan scuffed as he pushed himself off the wall. He wanted to watch them a bit more, but being late wasn’t really an option for him. The raven walked through the shadows, pulling a schedule out of his pocket. He studied it a bit as he made his way to the school entrance.

The silvery haired girl was dazzled by the charm and the sheer politeness of Eron. She still couldn't wrap her mind around the idea of going to school with someone that seemed so completely different from everyone else in this town. His elegant tone, his dazzling smile, Aurora could see herself enjoying becoming friends with someone like him.

When he questioned her about doing this again tomorrow, a light blush painted her cheeks. "Of course we can." She smiled, "I'd love to have a walking buddy. Should we meet up at the same place, or perhaps there is even a closer meeting point?" Her eyes were shining bright. Finally, someone else she could talk to.

Now at the entrance to the school, Aurora's attention turned to watching the other student's pass and mingle about. She felt fortunate to have made a new friend before stepping foot on the school grounds. That was one part she had feared. Feeling like a lonely new kid; an outcast. Sure, it never entirely bothered her to be alone, she actually enjoyed the peace and quiet, but when it came down to school life and having to be around other people, she felt she needed friends.

Aurora boldly stepped forward, heading to the front doors, only to be stopped short as she overheard another conversation that Eron had become apart of. Jail? Jailer? What? Puzzled she returned to Eron's side and tilted her head at him, curious as to what was going on. She did, however, feel a little too needy and hoped her new friend wouldn't be repulsed by her sudden decision to return to his side.

When Eron introduced her to this stranger, Aurora simply nodded and put on a pleasant smile, hoping she hadn't seemed rude or odd for standing quietly next to the charming boy. Another light blush had spread across her face as Eron had introduced her as 'the lovely'. No one outside her family had ever actually complimented her in such a kind way. Aurora, still smiling, turned her eyes to Eron, "Perhaps we could try to find our schedules too?"

Taking Amelia lead Azar gave Ercothe a cold wave before fallowing her towards the building. As they passed into the dark walls of the school Azar sighed and pulled her arm from Amelia’s hand. “Thanks I was trying not to be rude but he just rubs me the wrong way.” Her voice one again had become warm and cheerful. “I don’t always mean to be rude it just happens.” Tucking her hands into her armpits she wondered if she should tell this new friend of hers about her temper and what could happen with that. It only took a matter of second before she pushed that thought aside as a bad idea. “so what classes are you hoping to be getting this year?”

"Oh don't worry, I understand, I've been around a few people like that before" Amelia answered thinking she actually met more than a few on her way into the old town that seemed so new to her. Amelia walked with her hands behind her back cheerfully ignoring the looks of any on lookers "Hm...well since I have to go to school and it's already starting..." Amelia had to think about that a bit "I wouldn't mind having art or sculpture class, a cooking class would be nice, and probably something involving music. I'm more of the creative type of person" doing art was her one of her hobbies from time to time, however, singing or dancing was something she loved alot more than art itself. Amelia considered dance to be a style of art and even if most would agree they wouldn't actually see it that way until it was brought out in the open. "What about you?" she asked hoping she would get stuck with gym class knowing they would have six classes each day and the rest of the time was study hall or lunch.

Rylan chuckled walking with the girls. He wasnt always a big talker so it didnt bother him to let them handle most of the conversation. He nodded his head towards a turn in the hall. "Office should be down that way, maybe we'll luck out and get a few classes together." He smiled thinking sculpture would be nice he did always enjoy working with his hands. As they reached the office he held the door open for them not so much as to be a gentlemen but only because he got to the door before them.

Nodding at Aurora's suggestion, he waited until the others were gone before he followed after. "Well, I think that could have went better. I need to seek them out later and apologize for my eavesdropping. I'm sure it only tarnished my position. Here I was trying to make sure no one would take offense and I seem to have made some enemies." Sighing, he turned his head away from Aurora. "Oh well. I was taught to not please everyone; only to please those who are worth pleasing." Smile creeping onto his face, Ercothe glanced down at Aurora. "You're much easier to talk to."

As they wandered in, they eventually made their way to the schedules office. There were quite a few students in the area, all of them looking for their names and schedules. Being taller, especially compared to the girls, Ercothe could look right over everyone's heads.

Arranged in alphabetic order, Ercothe spied Aurora DeAndra with ease. His own name proved to be harder. In fact, it wasn't on the board at all. With an apology, he leaned over the crowd and tugged out Aurora's schedule. "I guess I'm too new to have a schedule. Here's yours though." Handing it off, his hand moved to his neck. He gave it a sheepish rub. "Don't suppose you want to accompany me as I seek out my schedule?"

“Stay away from my girl you son of a bit…” The voice came from behind him. When he turned to see who was talking a fist was coming straight for him. Lonan ducked just in time, moving quickly to the side with a wide smirk on his face. “Why you,” the other boy yelled taking another swing at him. Again he dodged. It seemed he had managed to already piss off some guy he had never met.

The other teen looked even angrier with the boy. “Stay still, damn it.” A dark chuckle came from Lonan. “I don’t know what you are talking about? Also I don’t know who your girl is.” By this time a group had formed around the two boys in the back of the class room. Some of his attacker’s friends made sure to block his escape, not that he cared. He would fight his way out if needed. “Don’t give me that crap. You just think because you’re new that you can do whatever you want. It doesn’t work that way. Say away from Beth, I’m warning you.” “Ah, the cute honey from earlier. She was just offering to give me a tour of the school.” Another punch came swinging his way once more he ducked before moving forward quickly, punching the other boy in the stomach. Moving back he grinned at him, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “It’s not my problem that you can’t keep your girl under control,” he said in a low intimidating tone.

One of the boy’s friends grabbed Lonan from behind and held him. Another helped the boy up. “Don’t take that from him. Get him.” Just before the group could lay into Lonan the teacher stepped into the room. “What are you boys doing! Jason, Daniel, Steven let go of him. All three of you and you as well go to the office right now. Everyone else to your seats, class will begin when I return.” The woman shouted at the group of boys and pointed at them. She had never seen Lonan before so wasn’t sure who he was, but that didn’t matter. The group of boys grumbled as they were escorted to the office. Lonan walked behind the others and the teacher with an amused smirk on his face. He hadn’t even been in class five minutes and already found himself in trouble. The funny part was it was all over a girl talking to him.

Entering the office the teacher made the three boys sit on one side of the room and him sit on the other. The teacher left after talking to the secretary about what happened. While in the office Lonan noticed the group he had seen before. They had stuck out in his mind. It was a little strange that most of the group, including the two he had ran into on his way to the school where there looking for their schedules. How odd to have so many new students at one time. Lonan leaned back in his chair and sighed. Well today was going to be fun.

Azar smiled at Amelia, she liked this girl who seemed to not care what others thought of her. “I really don’t think I would be all that good in a cooking class. My last home informed me that if they found me in the kitchen with anything more than milk and cereal they would have me out by my ears. It was not like I was trying to burn the food it just happened.” What truly had happened was the burner was not cooking the food fast enough and so she had tried to help it along, the house smelled of melted plastic and metal for the rest of the month. The food had been ash when they finely were able to figure out where it was. On the other hand when she was camping she could always cook whatever was needed without a problem, not that any of the families had wanted to hear that after that kitchen fire.

"I think I would not mind a home economics class if they will let me not cook. Other then that I would like to lean painting and fancy writing, what is that called? I think it starts with a c or k.” she could see the style in her mind’s eye but she just could not think of what it might be called. A few years after her mother’s death her class had taken a trip to a museum and there she had seen some of the most beautiful pieces of calligraphy, and ever since then she had wanted to try it. Yet all her schools had lacked the funds for such classes, now she hoped that this school with all the rich looking kids would have it. “Well if not that then I would love to do pottery.”

Looking over the list of names of schedules that were posted Azar sighed, it was not to surprising that she was not listed on the board as the others seemed to be. She was probably the newest person in the school, having only arrived in town a few hours before. “Looks like its time to brave the office and hope that someone there can get me set up with a good schedule.” Reaching out she hugged Amelia and then Rylan. “see you at lunch if not in class.” Over hearing Ercothe comment about not having a schedule too Azar cringed, she did not want to have to wait with him while the school tried to find a place to put her and knowing most schools she would end up in many of the same classes as him as they both came in about the same time.

"Either you mean cursive, scripture, or what is that one word...um...Calligraphy I believe" She knew a little about that, though she didn't try to teach herself to write like that. Writing normally was more of her style even if it wouldn't match up with her looks. Amelia searched for her name upon the list, she looked over at Azar "Good luck" before she found her name picking out her schedule seeing that she had her six classes: English, Culinary Arts: Baking, Pottery II, Girls Choir, Photography, Gym. Well at least they weren't that bad of classes, she wouldn't care too much for Gym or Girls Choir, but the rest she would love.

Heading to her first hour class which was English with Mr. Everson she made her way down the hallway grabbing people's attention with her attire. Wouldn't you know when she went in handing Mr. Everson the pass, she realized the Gothic kids were in there as well, most of them at least. Walking over to a window seat towards the back of the class room where some empty desks sat she waited as the teacher read his book until soon the bell would ring.

Rylan chuckled walking into the English class just after Amelia. Taking a seat behind her he smiled. "Seems like we lucked out getting at least first class together." Pulling his schedule out he scanned over it again. English, Advance Math, Earth Science, Computer science, Geology, Gym. folding it back up he tucked it away. "Did you get any of the ones you wanted?"

"Well I seemed to got some good ones, hm...I did get baking, pottery, and photography. I do love those subjects, but I'm glad I got gym too, I love moving around" she smiled a little asking "Did you get any classes you wanted?" Amelia looked around the room feeling a bit uneasy "Am I the only one to find this room creepy?" talking about the students.
