I was battling Bowser in Super Mario Galaxy 2

Well I was playing Ninja Guiden Black. And for all of you who don't know, Ninja Guiden was made famous for being the hardest game out there. Ninja Guiden Black took said game. The whole story line and all and said FUCK THIS IT SHOULD BE HARDER!!!!!!! so they took the game and increased the difficulty. I made it through the tutorial without dieing but not much further. Once I hit the actual story line I climbed out of a pool of water and repeatedly got smacked back down and in. When ever i tried to climb back out back in i went. This went on for about 2 minutes before i climbed out on the other side and then started getting shot by arrows. I DIED IMMEDIATELY!!! which was followed by a controller being thrown across my room and smashing on the wall. I haven't picked up the game since!!!

I've heard of that game! Also, I died in a cutscene. In the beginning of Mass Effect two (yes it is pretty much the only game I play) you have to die and you don't get a choice.

Last time I died... let's see... that would be... ah, yes.
I was fighting my father. He kicked my ass. (Playing Tales of Symphonia- the duel with Lloyd vs. Kratos near the end of the game. I usually played as a different character, so being forced to play as Lloyd in a boss battle was... epic fail on my part.)

And, since it's technically not "dying," I'll put this in its own separate little category. Fighting games only "knock you out," after all.
The brother that I'm obsessed with used darkness powers to decimate me, despite my best attempts to freeze him in place. (Going through Score Attack mode in Blazblue: Calamity Trigger. Damn you, Unlimited Ragna...)

Looking over this, I realize that I have serious issues with my family members in video games. Heh.

I was punched off a roof by a Tank. :stare: (Left 4 Dead)

I was playing Final Fantasy Tactics. I was fighting Wiegraf (sp?) and of COURSE it is a solo fight. It was really hard and I kept dying. I had saved right before the fight (because the game tricked me), so I can't even go and level up. The fight is so hard because he does about 100 damage each turn. I have an ability to heal about 90 hp , so every turn I have to heal instead of hit him. Luckily I have an hp restore ability which sometimes fully restores my hp if I am critical.

Well after so many tries, I FINALLY beat him ! Guess what? HE BECOMES A STUPID DEMON, SUMMONS 3 OTHER ONES TO HELP, AND YOU ARE FORCED TO FIGHT HIM WITHOUT SAVING FIRST !!!

Thankfully your other party members come to help you. But that wasn't enough. He kept summoning things . That was so rude ! I was so mad because it took me so long to beat the first battle, and then I end up LOSING the next one and now I have to start all over. > (

.......zzzz hm? Oh, last time I died? o.o

*punches out of my coffin and gets up*

I believe that would be the moment where some friends of mine and I took on a dungeon in SUN (Soul of the Ultimate Nation) and, this place being several levels above my own, I got creamed...

To close to a propane tank in Fear Files.

"Propane and Propane Accessories" *sniggers* I killed the guy with the flamethrower, and was consequently taken out by the guy with the gun standing behind him.

Was weakened from being beat up by a charger and my idiotic teammate (AI) shot the propane tank I was standing next to. (Left 4 Dead 2)

I was trying out Condemned 2 last night and these skinny black oily monsters took me down cause I couldn't see them.

It was a sure sign that I needed to adjust the brightness in the game. :P

Noob Tube. sadly the last game i played where i ded was modern warfare 2 multiplayer. Doing my thing then next thing you know BOOOOM dead. yeah tubing makes people cool. :P

I don't care how pathetic this sounds...I was running around killing things on Warcraft and lost a battle to a creature of a higher level. I bet if I logged in I'm still dead cause I was to lazy to go find my corpse.

I was randomly testing out words in Scribblenauts and tsunamied myself to death. .__.;

Running around in a small room with Pyramid Head in Silent Hill 2. The water finally drained from the stairs but he decided to shank James before he left.

Playing Fable II and got distracted by Theresa talking in my head and got ambushed. >.>

I think it was a monster in FF. Cactuar actually.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. Died because I wasn't paying attention to where a ballista was and sent a flying unit into its range. XD; Dang thing killed her in one hit and I had to restart the mission.

Hm, it would have to be one of the two;

Either when Cole was ridding the area of Reapers and there proved to be too many at once. They gunned the walking ball of spark down. (inFamous on Plasystation 3)

When Bayonetta was going up against Jubelius. She shifted the stage to a frozen one, where I was pummeled with ice and stone.

Jubelius is one hell of an annoyingly hard boss. Any pointers? (Bayonetta on the Playstation 3).

Still playing Condemned 2.

I was passing through a hallway in the burning doll factory and this moron who was on fire burst outta the wall like the Kool-Aid Man and started chasing me. I backed up away from him... right into a big pile of flames. So that combined with Johnny Human Torch there did me in.

Captain Howdy, as annoying as that is to have that happen, the way you described it was hilarious.
