Getting lots of sleep is the best. I've been sleeping in ridiculously late recently (today I got up at 1pm), so I can relate. I've personally never really followed hockey at all, but that sounds nice! I'm sorry your team lost. :'(

My day's been good! I've mostly just been chilling, and I don't really have any concrete plans. We'll probably end up having leftovers for dinner.

it's all good, hockey's not for everyone. being so close to canada it's kind of a thing here too

leftovers for dinner is nice, quicker than waiting for the prepping and the cooking to happen

I think the only sport I've ever been remotely into was jujustu. I keep meaning to take it back up... I should give it another stab in 2020.

And yeah, the minimal prep is an excellent bonus. I think I might just scavenge what's left from Christmas and maybe fry up an egg and have a salad sandwich or something.

wow that's pretty cool! i didn't know that about you. i used to do some kickboxing and that was fun but the schedule didn't end up working with my racing schedule so i took some time off and then never went back. i'd love to pick that back up again someday too

Yeah! I did jujutsu for pretty much all of 2018 and I really loved it. I stopped early this year as I didn't have enough time seeing as uni was getting hectic, but I really want to get back into it.

Typically I just throw some cucumber, cheese, hummus, tomato, and other miscellaneous things in the fridge between two slices of bread. Usually I toast the broad beforehand to give it some crunch.

that sounds like a good sammie indeed and definitely salady stuff. i just wasn't sure if you meant like egg salad, or something like that, which i thought might be different given that we are in different countries. my old austrailian buddy sent me all kinds of goodies from there and i sent him all kinds of goodies from here so i am always interested in food

well he sent me a looooot of candy also some condiments that we don't have here in the states and like variation on things we do have that just taste different. i can't remember all of it; golden syrup, tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, milk candy, various candy bars and chocolatey treats, hundreds and thousands, vegemite, milo, oh gosh, all kinds of other stuff.

That's something at least. I kinda miss school because there are built in breaks, but I don't actually miss being in school.

I'm not really used to having breaks either. I just recently got this job in August. XD I plan to work at my other job once I'm on summer break. X3
