Jay Montgomery

Age: 22

Personality: Jay is not what you would call "nice." Jay comes off as bitter and cold more than anything.

Addiction: Drugs and alcohol

History: Jay grew up in a rich family. His mother died giving birth to his younger sister and his father was a successful business man and hardly ever had time for him and his younger sister. Jay's drug addiction started when he was 13 and since then he has kept at it. He had started hitting the drugs as well as picked up on drinking and started doing both hard once He had hit 18 and moved out of his father's establishment and was on his own.

He dropped out of college when he was a junior in college and ended up making a career in being a musician. At least before his manager found out about his addiction and decided to have him put in a rehab facility with other people who had different or the same addictions as him.

Name: Christian Locke
Age: twenty-four
Addiction: sex
Appearance: Average height and skin tone. His hair is light brown in color. Eyes are blue. Tends to dress more up-class. He can chameleon himself into any situation so any look will do. He has three piercings in his right ear, mostly hidden by the hair: one in the lobe and two in the cartilage.
Personality: On one side he’s quite charming and rational. Enjoys the idea of a family and permanency. But he’s too weak to his own desires. Uses his charming nature for selfish means. He almost always regrets when he loses control so he finally turned to get help. He has the personality and looks that don’t match with the dark mess in his head and body that he can’t escape. What his smile says and his mind thinks do not match up.
History: From a cold family without love, he's always found his warmth elsewhere and learned of the touch of another in high school. Has dated and once been engaged, but his addiction ruined the relationship when he was caught sleeping with his fiance's sister.

Jay never thought he had a bad addiction. In fact, he never gave it much thought at all that he had one to begin with. He didn't think he even had as bad of an addiction compared to some others. Like the ones who actually came to the rehab facility. And willingly at that. Which was probably why his manager Mindy Rhodes decided to bring him to the rehab facility in the first place. You are an addict when you don't think you have an addiction. At least that is what Mindy told him.

She is going to pay for bringing me to a place like this.

Jay thought to himself, as he walked down the wide hall-way of the facility with his hands in his jean pockets. Jay's attire was a black button up shirt which he only buttoned up halfway. With that he wore black charcoal jeans, and black combat boots that tied on the front of it. And lastly he had on a studded collar around his neck, with a few rings on both of his hands which meant nothing and were just mere accessories to match up his appearance.

On the outside of the facility it was rather elegant looking. Probably to grab people's attention. At least that is what Jay guessed. The height of the building was 2 maybe even 3 stories high. The outside of the facility's building was painted in not any other colour besides white. The front of it had grass surrounded by the side walk to the entrance of the facility. Jay could tell there was also a pool in the backyard of it.

Making it to the room he would be staying in, Mindy turned to Jay, folding her arms over her chest. Mindy was shorter than Jay and stood at 5"6. She had short black hair, fair skin and blue eyes. She wore small rectangle glasses. She wore a white button up blouse with a matching black vest and pencil skirt with matching heels. She always wore things like that. She was somewhat proper. Or how Jay put it ever so kindly was she was "up tight" and "boring".

"Well? What do you think of this place Jay?"

Mindy asked.

Jay looked around the room. It was rather large for only one person staying in it. But there was nothing indicating roommates since there had been only one bed.

The walls were painted white just as the outside of the building was. The bedding was white, making the room look extremely boring to Jay. There stood a black night stand that had exactly 3 drawers next to the bed with a small lamp, and a digital clock on it.

He walked to the window in the room before letting out a sigh, moving one of his hands from his jean pocket, scratching the back of his head.

"The last facility looked nicer.."

jay could see Mindy rolling her eyes in the corner of his eye.

"Jay this is the fifth facility we have visited today and none of them you liked. This isn't some resort of hotel for you to be picky about. You are going to stay at this one and that is that." She firmly stated her tone sharp.

"Fine."

"I'll be checking on you in 3 days. So behave yourself." Mindy instructed him before she left for Jay to unpack his things.

Opening up his suitcase, he unpacked everything putting all of his clothes which was mainly black in the dresser. He set his guitar case standing up against the wall near the window before he sat onto the bed sighing once more.

Christian had no one to watch out for him or insist on this. He had only himself and today that was enough. There weren't many centers that would take someone of his...condition. Most places centered on drugs or alcohol specifically and why shouldn't they? That's what the average person got addicted to. With the knowledge the staff had, they couldn't accommodate much more. Looking up at the exterior of the building, he thought himself lucky that the first place willing to take him wasn't a hovel.

"Fill out the in-patient forms here," a middle aged woman pushed forms toward him at the front desk. At least in the harsh lights he had no delusions about the woman's beauty. "Check over the list here too and make sure you have none of the items listed. Of course no drug or alcohol paraphernalia are allowed in, functional or not. Only supervised visits are allowed in the first two weeks in order to distance patients from the life that brought their addiction. Photos however are encouraged. Is this your first time in rehab?"

Christian glanced up from the form he worked on. He cleared his throat which suddenly felt dry at such a question. "Yes," he croaked. "I..." And yet he couldn't bring himself to say more. This was shameful. He was a well to do man dressed in slacks and a loose button up shirt with hair carefully combed over the piercings hiding in his ear. He did not look like he belonged here.

The woman nodded her head once. "It's alright son. Nothing to be ashamed of," she said in a tone that sounded as if she said the words so often they were habit to her. Christian did not feel comforted. When he brought back the forms, she glanced over them and looked up again, her eyebrow quirking at him. "Ah, so you're the special one. I was told to give extra guidelines to you." She handed over another print out. "Now if you're ready, the rooms are down the hall to the left. Gender is separated by wings so as long as you don't cross over to the right wing, you should be fine. Welcome to Sunshine Ward!"

Christian hurried down the hall with her pasted on smile following him. A number of the rooms in the hall looked empty and he entered the one given to him. Noises nearby told him there were others though. Empty...it would be so much better for him if he had no one near, but this was good enough. He dropped onto the cot of a bed without unpacking anything. This was absolutely the worst.
