SailorMoon.org - grep SailorMoon * is back online, and with the latest database dump (there are still errors in the code that need fixing because apparently code breaks itself over time, I had smaller instances of the same happened when I was the admin of a community using the same code) ... well I'm back to being a staff member there, a forum moderator staff member.

To my knowledge the 'new user sign up' tool is broken but we have many accounts that are now delete-scheduled due to lack of sign in so if you are really intersted you have to email "SailorPluto"... (or wait a bit).

That's awesome! I don't remember if I signed up long ago or not, I am not too sure. Would it be safe to make another account when the time comes?

You could get a soon-to-be-deleted account right now just by saying "I signed up a long time ago but i can't remember which info I used". Plus before it was wiped before the reboot all non staff accounts were killed. We had 10,000 users at one point!

The only reason the "official new user sign up" bit is broken as of right now is an official code money thing.

Hm... Was this the site that was a Sailormoon e-mail provider? If so, then I think I signed up.

@Lizzy-dear Yes, one of the 'newest' things we did (years ago) was team up with gmail so that @sailormoon.org email was no longer limited to staff. There was SOME numerical limit, but just about anyone could have an email at sailormoon.org.

Oh... I had a sailormoon e-mail address back in 2001 or 2002 I think. This was before gmail came out. I remember it was a Sailormoon e-mail server. :S

Back in 2001-2002 before any major hiatuses, the addresses were only available to the staff members. Though I wouldn't be sure how to configure it anymore now that outlook express is dead.

That's why when the site came back to life for a bit it got moved to gmail... after all the staff was taken care of, then it was open to users... I can't remember what my login was though. Most people contacted me onsite if they needed something rather than email anyways. The person who took the large resoponsibility for restarting it went kind of crazy and pulled the plugs, we had backups but it slowly atrophied then went down for a while. A handful of years until just recently.

@Fade as for a hellokitty.something email address you would just have to look at the different sites and see if they offered them. Welcome, by the way!

I just figured it out, Crow! It was a @SailorMoon.com e-mail address. ^_^; I wasn't a 'member' of the site you were staff on, I just visited it from time to time to read the FAQ.

@ hummy and Fade- I believe there was during my earlier internet days. Although I don't remember per se.

You're half-clothed already. If you were wearing any sort of trousers or bottoms I would say too late, but I will go ahead and let you apply if you follow the painless procedure, fill out the form completely, PM it to me, and then the charity will hook you up with some goodies.
