So, I decided to make a Yan, but I didn't have many materials available. However, my trusty bag of rice looked like it would be enough to handle the job.
I loaded up my rice cooker with about 2 cups and waited.
Yan, in his dormant form...
However, it quickly grew apparent that my hot and sticky rice balls would not stack together without some help. I ran to the nearest convenience store and picked up one that was refrigerated and fairly stiff. It came wrapped in nori (seaweed) with a tuna filling. Unfortunately, it too wasn't strong enough to handle top-heavy Yan, so I decided to improvise with his nori blanket.
Yan with legs.
And finished sleeping yanigiri!
But something was missing! His butt! He ended up collapsing from the effort, but in the end, he got himself a fine rice behind.
