"Yes, my Master...he died during the last years of my training..."

As he looked at the glistening ice cubes in his vodka, memories he had long been trying to erase bagan once again to surface in his mind.

"He was...a great man...he was like a father to me..."

He took up the glass and swallow'd the contents as quickly as he could...the old, familiar burn in his throat quickly wiped away his bad memories.

"Well, hello there, Nina! Yes, the rain can be quite troubling. Would you like me to cook you a hot meal?"

He smiled as he walked back into the kitchen, grabbing his apron and coughing from the vodka burning in his stomach.

"And hello to you, Sophie, welcome to the outpost, would you care for something to fill your belly?"

i smile hearing all the voices i walk back fom the basement with a box in my hands

i then just chuck it out the window not caring about its contents

and i stand at the bar "why hello nani and what is your name mam"

i look to the other newer lady siting alone

i then slide over to her table "what can i get for you today ?"

i ask in a friendly tone

Well I was wondering if I could just get a diet coke?"
She asked smiling slightly, lifting her hand up to tuck some of her hair behind her head.

i walk over to her with the huge glass of diet coke i smile then i hand it to her

"it is free on the house for our new costomers"

i smile then i sit across from her

"so are you a ninja or just someone coming in for a drink"

i smile trying to be friendly

Back in the kitchen he begins to chop-up some mushrooms.

"Just thougth I'd make myself a snack before I go on break, Lord Itatchi.

"I do hope there was nothing important in that box you oh-so-carelessly threw out the window..."

He laughed to himself as he threw some shredded-beef in a wok.

"I put a couple of Unagi rolls on a plate over there,"

He said as me motioned towards the bar.

"Feel free to have at'em!"

He simmered some green bell peppers in a pan and in a flash of light he began to slice and dice a fresh onion in the air.

"Mmm...I love stir-fry...Anyone care for a bowl?"

"i am fine i had some ramen this morning" i laugh then i whisper to my friend

"there was a baby in the box " i look completly serious

then i begin to laugh histarically

" i am only kiding it was empty i didnt need it so its gone "

He blew a sigh of releif upon hearing the contents of the box.

"Well, I'm glad it didn't contain my special prosciutto ham...I spent months working on the perfect balance of salt to create the ultimate in savoury bacon..."

He poured himself a mixture of rum and coke, thinking to himself which recipe he should choose for the next meal.

"Hmm...chicken katsu grilled, chopped and fried to perfection...Oh, what about sweet, juicy plates of edamame on every table? No, no...perhaps I'll make a couple of mouth-watering buffalo-burgers..."

Nina walked into the kitchen and walked over to the cook. "Hey may I have some." she asked.

"Why, certainly, Nina."

He smiled as he handed her a large bowl of steaming-hot food.

"Enjoy, and please tell me if anyting is wrong with it, or if you'd like anything added."

She ate it and smiled, "This is really good." she told him.

*walks around* hmm

i see the man walk in "hello there sir can i get you anything?"

i smile waiting for him to reply to the question

"Itachi-san will you help me with some thing?" Nina asked.

i smile

"ok what do you need nina-san?"

i smile then i laugh out loud from boredom

"This darn zipper won't zip."

i laugh then i blink and it is up i laugh even more

"beter ?" i ask in a polite tone

"Yes thank you very much." she said and kissed his cheeck.

With a steady hand he swiftly chops a 6-foot chocolate bunny straight down the centre

It would seem that in my absence...this place has gone to rot.

I think some good old-fashioned stir-fry would bring in some new patrons...the smell would be irresistable!

I wonder if my good Lord Itachi will ever return...

He immediately goes to work seasoning some fresh pork and tosses noodles into the air with the deft hand of the master chef that he is.
