I bought HHD a few days ago, it's so much fun. I sorta wish there was a bit more options for interacting with villagers, but that's what New Leaf is for. Still not really sold on the amiibo cards, but I got Digby with the game and the cards themselves do look really nice.

llonka, there's not really a lot you do with your own avatar, they don't get their own house or anything so you could possibly share the game. You can change your accessories as much as you like, and once you purchase the styling machine with play coins you can even change your hair and facial features (but not gender or name). So if that doesn't really bother you or your son it's totally feasible to just trade off designing houses.

I'm still really on the fence about HHD. My friend in Cali has it and she loves it, but not as much as NL. I want it because I'm always into house designing in Sims and AC, but I just don't know for the price! Plus, let's be real. The Amiibo cards could turn unhealthy in a second. I already want to collect all one hundred of this 'season'. I just want to give Isabelle a nice, pretty house. lol.

Has anyone been playing recently? :o I found out yesterday after compiling a checklist with my bf that I'm only a few donations away from a complete museum. I also only get K.K.'s songs when I go to his concerts, so I felt like I still had a lot to collect, but it turns out I only have 10 left. It feels strange and a little sad now knowing I've almost "beat" this game. :(

On a more lighthearted note, I recolored my paths to blend into the snow and now I actually really like the winter aesthetic. Weird how one little change can make a difference in how nice your town looks.

I have been playing as much and I'm sure my town needs a good deweeding. And, I think some of my villagers may have moved out. ;~; Might not get the sets I want. Need to get back into the flow though, see which badges I still need and start trying to obtain them. Slowly but surely.

I am hoping to play Happy Home Designer though. Maybe for chirstmas.

I used to play ACNL until my favorite villager, Roald, moved while I was away. I stopped playing for a while, but then in Happy Home Designer, I found out I could build Roald a home.

@hillary On the home menu at the top of the screen there's a little smiling box icon, that's your friends list. If you click on your mii in there, it should say your friend code underneath it

I haven't been playing my HHD much, too distracted by other games. @_@ I usually just play it at the laundrymat, since it's easy to just pick up without a lot of commitment like new leaf.

I'm so really freakin bored. I don't know what do with my NL town.. too lazy to try and fix it up.

Ahh, yeah I get that. Unless you feel like grinding towards earning badges or something there's probably not much else for you to do.

Yeah... don't feel like trying to get more badges. Though I haven't caught all the fish. I've never played through spring either. RL and school always kicks my butt in the spring time.

I've got a question for Happy Home Designer.. I've seen people with more than one villager in a house, how do you do that?

One of these days, I need to get a new copy of ACNL.

I've restarted my AC:NL town a few times. I don't know what it is, but I can never quite seem to love the map layout after a while. So far so good, though... Here's to hoping this one stays. At one point, I had the Emporium and everything, but the layout of my town was bothering me that much.
