Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens gets a 5/5 from me! I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone who hasn't seen it yet (since it has only been out for like a week), but I love the choice of actors/actresses and did not mind the deviations from the original storyline.

Let's see, the last movie I saw. That would be Pod
A SciFi horror movie. I'm so festive. XD I had to watch it twice because the way it was shot. I'm sure most people wouldn't like this movie for all the same reasons I love it. The monster was pretty well done but didn't really see a lot of screen time. So it built more suspense. I'd say 4/5

I saw the movie Pandorum on DVD. I would give it a 5/5 for the twist ending. I would never have thought of this ending! and I keep saying ending because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who wants to watch it. But I guess definitely be prepared for some psychological thrills in addition to be scared a little bit :)

Three Blind Saints. 2/5
Not fantastic. It had too much going on at once and needed to be more streamlined. The plot was weak and patchy. Speight was handsome even in drag.

I watched part of "Pay the ghost" I put it on late last night. I know there were a few jump scares because I felt Chris jump as I was dozing off to sleep. I don't know if I was just super tired or if it was that bad of a horror that I fell asleep. Nicolas Cage was in it so...I dunno I'm going to try and watch it again tonight. XD

I'm currently watch Star Wars Clone wars. I prefer this to the movies, it tell you more about the background aliens and why the whole thing started.
I kinda wish Star Trek would do a 3D animated series like this.

Jupiter Ascending.
4/10. Honestly, people bashed that movie pretty bad, but I wouldn't say it had no merit. It was just...mediocre on almost all counts. Only a few things stuck out as bad and only a few things stuck out as particularly good. It had potential, but I think it couldn't decide what kind of movie it wanted to be--a Disney channel original movie, action, or original sci-fi. I don't mind the kitschy, rags to riches teenage girl's wet dream deal, but it had to own that story if it wanted that and not be sorta feelsy and sorta everything else.

Central Intelligence - I'll rate 5/5
The movie was great! There was a ton of moments where the audience including me laughed. Dwayne and Kevin had an awesome chemistry, I never had ever imagined "the rock" in a comedy genre movie XD. In the part(s) of the movie where the reunion was being mentioned with Bob, I honestly thought that he'll be naked again because of the bullies but I was wrong and partially right haha. I totally recommend this movie.!

Kubo and the Two Strings (I hate number rating systems so spoiler free review it is!)
This movie was definitely a prime example of what makes Laika films so enjoyable. This was probably their most visually stunning movie yet. It's also so refreshing to see an original concept, especially when it comes to children's films. Especially when that concept is executed so well. The story was fantastic and very touching. It also didn't pull any punches. That's honestly one of my favorite things about the stories Laika chooses to produce. It doesn't pander to children and treat them like they're simple minded. They actually try to make a good children's movie that is also just a quality film. Seriously, if you get the chance, you should see it.
On the side: It was kind of hilarious how they got George Takei just so he could say "Oh my!"
On the side 2: That version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" in the credits... Best. Cover.

Last new movie I saw was Secret Life of pets.
It was pretty much what I expected. Not as good as Finding Dory but certainly a cut distraction. XD My daughter enjoyed it.

The only one i can think of seeing was the Star Wars movie no:7.
The only reason i would watch it again, is to watch BB8, nothing else!!! That little bot is so darn cute!!!
I would rate it a 3/5, movie wise.
5/5 for BB8!!!

Sweeny Todd was the last movie I watched. And I absolutely love that movie. I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5. The .5 was deducted because afterm watching it again after a while, the blood was very fake. BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT IS WONDERFUL

This Korean horror thriller was a fantastically suspenseful and well directed film. The visuals matched the story very well. I'm glad it was on netflix because I had to watch it a few times to get every thing.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Spoiler Free Review)
As a complete sucker for world building it was nice to see the expansion of the wizarding world on screen. Half way through the movie my friend leaned over and said that she was pretty sure I was Jacob Kowalski's key demographic, mainly because he's a baker and also because his character just got me, you know? Also the actor who played him did a phenomenal job. Speaking of... Colin Farrell. He was great. And What A Look. So much style. Ezra Miller was also A+. And Katherine Waterston. And basically everyone. Drinks all around.
Everything else I'd want to mention involves spoilers so I'll just leave it off here: Wizard Jazz. I need more.

That movie sounds great!
10 Cloverfield Lane
This was like 2 different movies in one. The first part is so different from the second part. It went from "Silence of the lambs" to "Pitch Black" The transition was done in an interesting way but some might find it jarring. As far as horror scifi goes I've seen a lot worse.

The last film I watched was Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. I've never seen any of the Star Wars films before, so my boyfriend has been showing them to me. I didn't enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed the first one, though it wasn't bad. In general I just felt that this film took longer to get going and there wasn't enough to keep me hooked. Also, the scene near the end with Darth and Luke (you all know the one I'm talking about) wasn't as dramatic as I expected it to be which is a bit disappointing. It was an average film for me. Not terrible, but not worth a re-watch.
