the internet was originally invented so that introverts could work with other people and use their creative powers that are otherwise normally stiffled. Studies have also show that offices where everyone's desk can be seen by others lowers performance while jobs where a person has their own quiet corner has increased performance.

I'm not really shy, just cautious. I've been hurt too many times by being too outgoing. I am a little less cautious online but I still need to get to know someone first before they see my true self.
