Green is indeed an awesome color, especially with so many shades. And it's just in time for spring!

Well. For some of us. For some of us it's still firmly winter.

My area is vigorously moving into spring, it seems. Which is actually kinda bad, because we didn't get enough winter rain this year. Still, the weather is lovely out today, so I can't complain too much!

Merriment is quite fun! I should track down some music for the purpose of merriment. :D

Yeah, we haven't had near enough rain either this year, they're calling drought already. I think it's rained like three times since August? Something like that.

Ah yes, music and merriment do go hand in hand! But today it must be Irish music!

Me too. Celtic music is fun, especially the instrumental stuff.

I actually really prefer the Irish rock bands these days.

@Woofie: Yeah. My mom is a fiddler, so I grew up listening to that music. It seemed like my whole childhood was reading in the corners of people's living rooms while everyone drank and played jigs.

@steel: I'm not as familiar with that music. Got any band recommendations?

Also, for an Irish rock band I listen to Flogging Molly. Very popular now I know but I like their stuff. Especially Devil's Dance Floor.

I love traditional celtic folk music, but I like rock too, so I'm sure I'll like celtic-rock. :D
