our rooms don't connect to the bathroom, which is lucky. We have a hallway outside our rooms and the bathroom is at the end of that. the sinks are in our rooms.

Gingerbread is really good. I don't know why it hasn't occurred to me to make some. With frosting, too!

Dinner here is going to be a small spread, as it shouldn't be that many here. Turkey, dressing, gravy, mac and cheese, some peas and corn, some kind of rice (haven't decided what kind yet). Pie and all kinds of ice cream and popsicle type things.

Hehe, tamale casserole...haven't had that before. I had tortilla stew the other day. Soooo good...how I've missed tortilla soup! Every time they had it at the cafeteria in college, I would go back for at least three or four bowls. Loaded up with cheese. *_* This was the closest thing I've eaten that tasted somewhat like it.

I actually just got done wrapping presents a little bit ago. I have one left, but I can't wrap it until after I get over to my grandfather's house. I got him a picture frame for a picture my parents gave him earlier this year. So my cousin's going to help me sneak around and put the picture in the frame then wrap it.

I also spent last night working on two drawings for...I guess my only friend here at work. Drew her daughters. Almost done with the second one. I won't see her for another three days since she's off with her family...so I've still got time. xD

Tamales are quite a common thing to see on our dinner table. we buy them from church and they get covered in creamy sauce and cheese!

they cookie party is the best! We ate all the icing last year and even a few non-edible decorating stuff!

I'm doing drawing for my presents too. I haven't finished any of them yet.

I had some friends whose families made them by hand. Mmm...oh gosh, I miss fajitas a lot...I want...*cries* If I were at home, I could be cooking everything I'm craving...
