SEVEN MORE DAYS!! :D
Exactly a week today and we leave! 8D

I'm super excited, but at the same time, kind of nervous!

We're going to stop in Denver for our first stop! :D
I'm looking forward to it!

So you are driving out there? I'm so nervous in a week we won't get to talk to our little Ava

Yeah, we're going to drive out there. :)
Hopefully we'll make it in about three days.

We plan to drive 13 hours from here to Denver, then another 12 hours from Denver to Las Vegas, then the last two hours from Las Vegas to LA. :)

I'll definitely do my best to stay in contact while on the road and when I get there. :)
I might not be able to be online as much while we are driving, though, but I will definitely do what I can! :D

Yeah, make sure you enjoy the drive. You don't know when you're going to get a chance to do something like this again. I have friends that read the whole while on a road trip and miss so many pretty things. Wow 13 hours in one day is a long drive. I get antsy like after 2 and 1/2 hours. And like 5 hours is my total Max before I am really driving people crazy. Luckily if Sashie-Belle goes along she's a whiner and has to go outside more often than I like to stop and walk around. She is a good puppie!

We've gone on long car rides before, but never 13 hours! D:
The longest I think was 7 hours, but I think if we can last 7 hours, we'll be okay doing 13.

I love long road trips...but it is very important to stop every two hours or so and stretch your legs and get some fresh air.
This prevents rider fatigue.
Maybe try to stop and see some points of interest along the way.

seems like a thirteen hour car ride doesn't allow much stopping to see the sights time

I'm sleepy too, hummy! :C
And yeah, when we drove straight through for 13 hours, we really didn't have the time to stop and view anything.

We had to be in California by Monday because the movers were coming and they needed someone to let them in,

It's alright.
I'm starting to kind of warm up to the idea that I live here now...
It's hard but I'm just taking it one day at a time.

My old insurance will still cover my meds too, so I don't have to worry so much about finding new insurance right away. Whew! But I still have to get new insurance to see a therapist and psychiatrist.

Ava, I am relieved to hear that you will still be able to fill your meds!
Now you can settle the issue about insurance and finding new therapist and psychiatrist without the underlying panic of running out of meds.
Try not to procrastinate in getting this done...the script for your meds will run out eventually and you will need new ones.
Are there any parks near you?...or other points of interest, like theaters, malls, museums? ....stuff to get you out of the house and into the sunshine?

There aren't any parks that I know of, unfortunately. :C
But there is a grocery store just down the block and there's a really rad coffee shop down there too.

I plan to frequent that coffee shop, as I plan to sell some art there. :)

My ex-husband used to play the song Iron Man over and over and over while he practiced swinging his numchucks (I probably spelled that wrong!). I grew to almost hate that song!
My first husband played a Heart album over and over until I couldn't stand that band anymore!
