What about RPs that practically require you to be a Hiver? There used to be one where you can buy people when your men die and stuff. They're like... buyable NPCs.

Anything is acceptable, as long as it is agreed upon ahead of time. It is just someone bringing anything in that is unacceptable to everyone else that makes it wrong. These are more like guidelines to things that are unfair if not within the scope of the game being played.

I agreed with Jac though, within the context of a game, it seems fun.

Hey, if you are an RP sage, I'd call you an oldbie. So you might be - it doesn't really depend on how long you have played as much as how much experience you have

I have always been making stories with my friends, roleplaying before I even knew the word because, I enjoyed it. It wasn't until I was about 14 as well that I really discovered "roleplay" - the terms and playing online and such, and rules that come with it. I would call myself an oldbie, however I feel that I still have much to learn to be on such an expert level. So that's why I'm sticking with "literate."

And I can, if you hadn't already noticed, be a Daydreamer. Aheh. ^^"

Ahaha. Last year I was a big big newbie, & I'm kind of ashamed of all the Mary-Sues I made & rediculous things I did. ;xD I learned the ropes now with the help of my two literate friends [<3] & have evolved to a Literate. Yay! Hopefully I'll become a good ol' Olbie. Hopefully I won't turn into an 'Elite'. D: Though I must admit that I'm not very open to allowing people who aren't at the Literate level. -shameshame-

Well there is a difference between maintaining the quality of your RP and being a ass about it. Least I think so, I don't really enjoy unliterary Rpers myself but everybody has to start somewhere.

Well it doesn't really need to live but it would be nice for it to be stickied. Perhaps some one can pm a mod and ask to have it stickied for use in the OOC? As well as that listing of RPs?

That would indeed be a good idea. Although it should probably be the creators.

I'm sure Tabi will get around to it sometime. She's pretty busy right now.

To be entirely honest, I'm somewhere between an oldbie and a literate. I don't think I've ever been elitist unless there are super n00bs plaguing the thread. :oops:

Still, this thread is a really good idea. I like it. I'm not sure if I'm guilty of any munching in the past (other than the occasional puppetmastering and ONLY when it's necessary) but I'm definitely going to use this to be careful. :)
