Art teachers are a weird bunch. theyre artist. I've had one that would purposely act like people should do something a certain way just to see if that person would change their work or stick to their convictions. Anyway, if you're going to do what the teacher seems to prefer and still not get a grade you like, you might as well just do work that YOU like and are proud of.
