Not sure if this is an art topic, but here goes. Have you ever posed nude for an/ artist(s)?.
You know, figure drawing....If not, would you do it?.
I've thought about doing this myself, however I have toruble sitting still.

No but I think it would be something worth trying if I were thinner. I'm waaaay too self conscious.

I pose clothed more often though... XD

I would for sure. I've already posed nude for photography, so I imagine it would feel about the same. The only difference would be that I would have to stay still longer.

No, I haven't ^ ^;; though I have drawn many, and have thought about it as a profession just briefly.

I will be solely for that other person in my life. It's a mutual understanding that we'll both be using each other in the privacy of our home for the arts.
That's about as far as I go there.

I don't think I'd pose nude for anyone other than that special person in my life.
But of course, I don't think I'll ever be with the artistic type of person.
I mean, sure any professional nude portraits are very tasteful, but it just doesn't feel right to me, you know?

I would. I am wanting to artistic nude photography. kinda what mother do when they are pregnant. wrap themselves to elegantly censor themselves in a sheet. then look so at peace or almost goddess like . I fall in love with those pictures all the time.

I have a friend in DA who draws nudistic artwork, and it's all very pretty. So I wouldn't mind having myself drawn by him, but I would have to tell him what I don't want to, etc. Something pretty done traditionally would be nice ^^

to many insecurities, possibly when
I conquer them. I have, however, drawn
nude models. My friends, even parents, seemed
shocked, while I just shrugged.
It's almost as if they looked at it as something
perverted when it really isn't. It's really the best way to
understand human form in a 3D nature. Sure you can have
art books but they give you a limited perspective. ^^

No. I don't think I could, because I'm self-conscious and honestly, nobody's ever seen me naked before... it would be really weird to me to be naked in front of a bunch of strangers. @@;

I would love to pose clothed though. It would be a fun way to make a little money, but more importantly it would be really interesting to see what people draw from looking at me. :)

That said, I've drawn plenty of nude (and some clothed) models. It's not weird to me at all to be around naked people... just kind of weird to be around other people while I'm naked myself. ^^;

I would do it, but only if the person who wanted me to was my lover.
Not really sure for about anyone else though. It's not the idea of being naked (Since at home I'm a nudest mostly) it's just the idea of having to sit still, or being panted that I don't like. xD;

xD No. I don't even like having my picture taken, and this is with all my clothes on for something that takes less than second.

My girlfriend sometimes draws me while I'm sleeping and I just happen to be naked...

If it weren't for my already ridiculously off schedule, I might put myself up as a nude model. Its nine dollars an hour to hold a position. And the professors are usually nice enough to give you a sitting or laying down position if you're going to be holding it for more than half an hour.

And to all of you who are like "I'm too fat," I'm going to let you in on a little secret: we LIKE having larger models. Skinny people are easy to draw. Larger women and men are more FUN to draw.

Interesting point of views. I've never thought of it that way. I, myself have never considered it. I'd be worried what they'd think of me, but then again, I am a bit young to pose nude. I think... Anyway!, you guys shouldn't be so worried about how your body looks. I think the human body is very beautiful and expressive in almost every form.

Besides, I think even though they'd look at you naked, I don't think they'd be worried if you had a bit of hair or a little chub chub. They'd be really focused on the lines and shading, I think. So now worries! Artists are focused on art. ^^
