I was good at one point but then I started to suck at it.

lol how can you start to suck at something?

It took forever to get photoshop.
It's one of the hardest programs to crack next to Microsoft products [those are nearly impossible].
But I only know how to work 1% of phototshop's capabilities.
It's a hard program to grasp.

It maybe because I no longer draw on a stable surface though ^^;

I never draw on a stable surface.
The pen tool is your best friend.
