Megumi sighed, the leaders speech went on a little bit longer than she had hoped. She picked at the end of her shorts a bit anxiously. She looked around, everyone was on their feet and hopping about looking for people to spar with. Nervously, she took a small hop forward and looked around again, everyone seemed so far away, and she was only a small girl of barely 5 feet. Her eyes flicked over from person to person, looking for someone to speak to. A tap of the shoulder caused her to jump and squeak in fear. She whirled around and met a man who was almost a head taller than her, looking at her concerned. "A-ah, sorry, you scared me....." She mumbled. The male let out a laugh, hearty and deep. She flushed a deep red and looked down, embarrassed for getting scared so easily. "H-Hello... My name is M-megumi." She pulled at the ends of her hair nervously,"I like....food." It was fine for now, Megumi didn't want to share her deep love for the occult, it would be too strange to share her favorite hobby.

The man laughed again, and she looked up, he was a westerner, she knew. His hair was a light chestnut and his eyes were a sparkling gray, he was a bit tan as well. He extended his hand out and replied,"Sorry to scare you Megumi, I'm Jayson, with a "y." I love to go hiking." Megumi looked at the hand and hesitantly brought hers to it, and was surprised that the handshake was so gentle.

"So, let us start the game?" She said, and they began.

Within about fifteen minutes, a few winners had appeared. Those crowned winners had their photos taken, as did everyone else who played the game. Anna was a tad jealous that she didn't been assigned as a photographer but she soon realized that these people were hired people who couldn't partake in the camp's activities. Perhaps just taking photos wouldn't be that fun, she thought. After all, she was here for the camp and to meet new people. Maybe find someone who might just steal her heart, too.

The first game came to an end and the older Japanese man came back out on the stage. He was suppressing a laugh and congratulated everyone on their partaking in the game. Immediately after, he called out camper names and assigned them to their proper teams. A sigh of relief came from Anna when Mikheil was placed on her team too. Looking around the body of campers, she eventually spied him and give him a cheesy grin and a thumb's up. At least she knew someone. Granted, Eve was on her team and that didn't bode well with her. Oh well, she mused, at least she had the active counselor, Billy. Even if he was a bit of a jerk, at least he was entertaining.

As everyone broke off into their teams, Anna happily found her way back beside Mikheil. "I saw you became an Rexy. Nicely done! I kept losing so I only every advanced to a chicken. Oops." It was true, luck just wasn't on her side this go around.

"It's okay, Anna. The first time we counselors played, I was stuck an egg. It's how I magically became the announcer for the game. I just had this bad habit of constantly throwing the wrong signs." Billy now stood behind the pair, but soon stepped around them to coax the team toward their designated spot.

"This is where we, the Olympians, will do all our activities. As you can see, all your rooms are in the red section," he said while pointing to the dark red roofs on their cabins. "Suzanna and I each have one game to share with all of you before we all take a break and get settled in. The games are pretty simple. We'll start with mine since it's a bit active and then we'll shift into Suzanna's.

Walking toward a fire circle, he broke the team of ten campers into two groups of five. Explaining the game, which was a spelling contest, Billy finally give the campers the last tid-bit of information. "Oh and I forgot to mention. To spell your name, you need to use your butt. Yup, you'll be shaking that ass to spell out your entire name -- first, middle, and last." Demonstrating, he spelled out his entire name by shaking his butt and hopping from time to time. "Remember to dot your Is and cross your Ts, too!" A stopwatch was soon in his hand and a photo crew came over to record the event. The second his hand hit the start button, the first member of each team ran forward and began shaking their butt in a mad attempt to spell their full name. Laughter willed the air and by the time the last two people were shaking their rears, a chant-like clapping followed.

"Well done, teams! Well, done!" It was a landslid victory for team B, though. Team A magically had some campers with extremely long names, as both Anna and Constance were on the same team. "Well, Suzanna, you're up." Escorting the campers back to a grassy knoll, he plopped in the grass. "Circle up," Billy instructed. Anna, knowing that the spot beside Billy wouldn't be claimed, took her place beside the freckled counselor. Her blue orbs spied a ball and she instantly knew the game. "Ah, the question ball game. Good choice," she chirped.

"That's right. We'll be playing the question ball game. You gently toss the ball to someone in the circle. The person who catches it says their name and then answers a question. You can either answer the question on your left thumb or right thumb." Billy was doing the talking as Suzanna needed to inflate the ball some. There was no point in stalling while she puffed air into the ball to push out a kink. "We'll play this until everyone has had the ball at least once. But don't feel obligated to throw it to someone who hasn't gotten it. You can give it to Megumi ten times in a row, if you want. This is just for fun and so we can learn something about one another."

Turning to Suzanna, Billy nodded. This signaled that she could now take over and begin the game.

Run, run, run-stop.
Artifex suddenly found herself stopped dead still in the middle of the trail back to the group. Why? Because the most extraordinary sight had come across her field of vision. The lake, it was... it was... spectacular.

The water shimmered in the light like glass, broken by the occasional wave. She found herself drawn to it, for the moment forgetting completely about her original task of returning to the group. Artifex had always been one for water, drawn to it's cool embrace. Slipping out of her sandals she dipped her bare toe in the water, watching the ripples cascade out across the surface.

"It's so beautiful" she whispered gently to herself.

~Stop...~

"Tranquility"

~You need to stop.~

"like it used to be"

~You're only going to make it worse~

Staring down at her feet, she was now standing ankle-deep in the edge of the lake as a great sorrow filled her chest. However, just as quickly as it came upon her, Artifex's eyes hardened, "Enough of that." she scolded herself, her tone changing drastically all at once.

~But... I just...~

"You came here to fix that problem. It's time to move on" she turned abruptly and shook off her feet as she stepped out of the water and slipped her shoes back on before marching down the trail again.

By the time Artifex finally returned it seemed as though she had missed quite more than intended and she found herself standing at the edge of things, looking a little lost. It took her a little while to locate Billy and she tentively made her way over, hoping to get filled in as promised.

If you watched Mikheil's face you could actually see him beam when he realized he was teamed up with Anna and then his expression falling moments later, when he came to conclusion Billy would be his counselor. So much for avoiding the bossy model-material. Man thought for a moment, trying to recall who was other counselor for Olympians and recalled it was that tattoo-artist girl. Could have been worse, then. Hopefully.

At blonde's disappointment about not advancing in the game seeping through, he immediately went into his cheer-up mode, trying to paint things in better light for her with a joke. "I would say being chicken is better than T-rex. I mean, those have been extinct for ages," he said to Anna, then nearly jumped when Billy spoke behind them.

When first game was announced, Mikheil ruffled his hair in awkward gesture, but sighed and complied. At least he didn't have a name too long... After game, when they were ushered to circle up, Croat could have first good look at his whole new group together. It turned out some he had already noticed before, like Eve and Megumi and... Ah, another person arrived, the one who had spilled food, Artifex. She sure had taken her time to come back, hadn't she? Well, no matter.

Meanwhile, Suzanna was vigorously pumping ball and mentally grinding her teeth. Well, slightly. However, it didn't show even when she passed Billy with smile, murmuring: "Thanks for volunteering to be spokesman for all the games." She greeted Artifex and if Billy didn't get to explaining current game and events, she would do it.

Then she joined the circle, spinning the ball in her hands. "Right. So, let's get started - I hope you will not find questions too embarrassing." Despite saying that and having suggested the game herself, young woman's heart was beating fast and she definitely felt nervous. But at least she had had time to think answers to the questions she had most come up with on her own.

She looked over the small group and then threw ball at Mikheil. He caught it, but somewhat clumsily as he hadn't expected it and stared down at questions at his thumbs, mentally wailing - why him? He glanced at short haired woman who was smiling encouragingly and then cleared throat. "Question is, what I like most about myself." Of course he got all the hard ones... After moment of thinking, he shrugged: "My whistling." And to explain what he meant, he quickly whistled a tune*.

Looking around the group, man picked his next victim for question ball attack: Lucas. Throw was light, but with enough force to actual reach the target.

*He whistles about first 15-20 seconds of it.

Game information

There are multiple questions on the ball (24), you can take liberty of some and you don't have to roll for them, just pick one you'd like to answer. Or you can roll, if you feel like it.
Examples:
1) Favorite superhero/story or manga character?
2) Phrase that describes your life (or you wish it did)?
3) Last book/comic/manga you read and your opinion?
4) Random musician/band you love?
5) What is the thing you like most about yourself?
6) Your favorite color and food?
7) All time favorite quote from anywhere?
8) Thing you would definitely want to do before you die?
9) What's your dream travel destination?
10) Describe your perfect day!
11) Do you have a life motto? If yes, what?
12) Best thing you've ever done/accomplished?
13) Favorite movie? Reenact best scene if you'd like!
14) Share something you thought you would regret, but it turned out amazing? Or the other way around.

GM UPDATE

Kiyoto: waiting on you to post.

All; Once you toss up your post, please ping the person who you've thrown the ball to. Continue to do this until we've hit everyone. I honestly don't care on the length. Just answer the question. Remember, our characters need to know a bit about one another BEFORE the fall into the titan past.

Lucas had to admit, these were very strange games they were being made to go through. He would have deffinetly never done anything like this back home, especially growing up. His father would have had a major problem with it. Running a hand through his hair, he kept up with the others, but at the same time a tad off on his own as if to watch them. He was curious about these people, he had not been really formally introduced to some of the others still. They were all still strangers in many ways as well. He closed his eyes, mentally cursing himself. Even now, his father’s methods of upbringing were still affecting him.

Keep everyone at arms length, everyone is an enemy, no matter if they are friend or family. He felt a slight bit of anger bubble up within him, but he pushed it away from his mind for the time being. They were moving on, to the next game, one with a ball and questions. He watched the man from before speak, followed by a female. Niether she, nor the male she first tossed the ball to, looked to thrilled about this little game. He was not really to keen himself on opening up about a lot of things, or about being the main focus of a group of people, no matter how short of a time it was.

To bad for him, it seemed he was not being to lucky today. As soon as the male who introduced himself as Mikheil was done, the ball was tossed within his direction. Great. Reflex made it quite easy to catch the ball. Taking a breath, he did not wish to hesitate. The more one drew things out, the harder and more awkward they were. It was best to get it over with. So, he began. “Hmm, my name is Lucas León” he said simply, his name was short, and with his accent it rolled off the tongue quite well. It sounded a bit more French than English to him, but now was not the time to get into that. He examined his questions, taking only a second to determine which he would choose.

All time favorite quote from anywhere?” he said, thinking for a moment longer, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Lao-tzu.” It was pretty much self explanatory, and most had heard it once within their lives. It was indeed one of his favorites, as well as one he had been living through within his life. He offered a bit of a smile, before deciding it was once more best not to linger. His eyes shifted over the others, before he made eye contact with and tossed the ball to Evelin, recognizing her from before.

Evelin watched as the ball was tossed to Mikheil. Such an odd and exotic name, she would definitely have to take extra time to try and pronounce it right. Hearing that he could whistle, brought a smile to her face. She could whistle, but only one consitant note, she was always a bit jealous of those who could whistle pretty tunes. Nodding she then watched as the ball was tossed to Lucas. She remembered him from playing rock paper sicors chicken style. He seemed a bit nervous, well they all did actually. Watching as he caught the ball with ease, she nodded to his quote. A very good one indeed. Something she had heard herself, though her father was a poetry nut anyway. She was read a lot of poetry when they tried to get her to sleep, so if it was well known, she probably knew it. Making eye contact with Lucas, she gave a bright smile and caught the ball with ease. Her little time in softball helped with that. Squeezing the ball curiously, she then chuckled and looked around at everyone. "I'm Evelin Ashemore. You guys can call me Eve. Whichever version you prefer, I'm not picky." she started off brightly and then thought for a few seconds.

"Hmm my motto. I kinda had is as hakuna mattata for the longest time. I am a disney fan. But a few years ago it changed. Now its, "true strength isn't measure by one's physical capability, but the will to go on even when your body fails you." she said, the last part making her look down at the grass. She honestly didn't want people to know she had had cancer. She didn't want the pity. She just wanted understanding and maybe to make a new friend or too. Composing herself she looked up and smiled and then tossed the ball to Suzanna.

So, Mikheil thought his best point was whistling? What a strange to like most about yourself. But then again, Suzanna had to admit he really did it well. Maybe he had confidence issues, he truly had looked rather unhappy to get the ball first. All eyes were on him for sure. Perhaps, she should have went first? But that felt awkward, too, as if attention seeking - see, I want you to learn about me first of all. Oh well, ball was long since out of her hands - now it had been caught by that man she had seen chatting with red-head before.

Lucas, eh? It rang nicely together with his surname, which was... kind of French, same as that tinge of accent? She might have been mistaken, though. He chose a nice quote, very fitting for where they stood right now and young woman nodded slightly in thought, watching the question ball pass over to Evelin. As colorful girl explained her motto, Suzanna wondered about its change, but guessed it wouldn't be a subject this artist would like to discuss. Not many liked to lay down their suffering before pitying stares or sniggers of others. Perhaps somewhere there was hidden the reason why she was so touchy about someone being bullied?

And then the ball was coming towards her. Suzanna caught it easily, smiling at the one who threw it, although her heart had significantly sped up. She glanced down to where her thumbs were and frowned slightly in thought, choosing among two questions. "My name's Suzanna Alvey, if anyone missed that, and my favourite color is blue. It is often thought to represent tranquility, which I had more of in my life, while my favourite food is... ice cream, preferably with fruits. Only cold thing I can really stand!" she finished with a light, honest laugh sliding gaze over group.

Next 'victim' for question would be Takumi, she passed ball over to him.

He only made it to a T-Rex by the time the first game ended. The counselors quickly moved on the next game. This one seemed to be interesting. Maybe he would be able to get a feel for those who were on his team through this. Or at least that is what he hoped. First was Mikheil who said he’s whistling was what he liked most about himself. Next was Lucas then Evelin. Both of their answers were good ones for the questions they had. After them it was Suzanna’s turn. Her question had been a simple and basic one, but her answers were detailed which was nice.

Takumi found himself to be the next ‘victim’ in this game. Catching the ball with ease he smiled slightly. Taking a breath he let himself relax before choosing which question he should answer. “I am Fujiwara, Takumi. Please call me Takumi. What is the best thing I have ever done or accomplished?” His eyes lowered momentarily as he thought about the question. He used to take pride in standing up and looking after his brother, but after the accident that changed. It made him realize how foolish and weak he truly was. Deciding what to say he raised his gaze to those around him once more “The best thing I have ever done was follow my dream and go to university to become singer.” His English was a little broken as he answered his question.

Like Mikheil he gave an example. For this he chose to sing a little of “Innocent Sorrow” by Abingdon Boys School. Once finish he looked around. The raven haired man debated who to toss the ball to next. His eyes fell onto the girl with black hair and glasses. He tossed the ball lightly to Megumi.

**He just sings the chorus**

Megumi yelped as the ball landed in front of her all of a sudden. She fumbled a bit with the ball, looking for a question she could answer in English the best. The people who had gone had some pretty impressive talents, and she couldn't dare compete with them. She opened her mouth to speak, but got scared and closed it again. There were too many eyes on her, and she suddenly felt very shy. The poor woman had not dealt with this many people at once before, nor been outside of town, so being put in a new setting with strangers had her trembling.

I might as well pick a random one.... She thought bitterly, and opened her mouth again, this time she spoke,"Hello, my name is Araragi Megumi, or are we doing the name thing in the American format? Then I'm Megumi Araragi." She mentally slapped herself for running her mouth, and looked at the question she had chosen before. "Well, before I die, I'd like to go out on an adventure." She fiddled with the ball in her hands a bit before continuing,"I come from a town were everyone knows everyone, so it is difficult to meet new people. I'd like to break away and explore a new place." With her part done, she looked around nervously, trying to find someone as quickly as she could. Her gaze landed on a girl with long red hair (Constance) and tossed the ball over to her, eager to have the attention off of her.

Constance seemed a bit more excited than many of the other campers as she followed the crowd out into the morning sun to take part in these 'ice breaker' games. She took part in the first game, which was entertaining to some extent, but the second one used an item to bring the group together. The red head watched as the ball made its way around the group, excited to see where it would go next and how those people were going to answer their question.

When the ball finally came to her, it was safe to say the red head was a bit more than a little excited for it to finally be her turn. She threw her arms into the air in excitement before clutching the ball close to her person once again. She tossed the ball into the air a couple times as she thought, chewing on her bottom lip ever so slightly before a smirk came to her face. She dropped the ball, leaning over she picked it up and as she started standing back up she started laughing before tossing the ball into the air toward the next unsuspecting person, "Roll back the clock to the dawn of time, when the Earth was smokin' and the lava flowed. Roll back the rock to the dawn of time, and blow your cool like a volcano," Constance sang happily, though not the most in tune person in the world.

She danced about the middle of the circle the group had formed as she continued, "Snap your fingers and stomp your feet!" Just as she sang those, she did just as the song instructed. "Soakin' up a little of the jungle beat! Roll back the rock to the dawn of time and sing this song with meeee!" She threw her arms in the air excitedly at the end of her little tune, a smile wide on her face.

"We're Back is my favorite movie," she said as she plopped her hands on her hips. "And my name is Constance hailing from the state of Michigan, though my family has ties back to Romania." Throughout all of the song there was only the slightest hint of her accent, when talking normal it was a bit more evident, though her time in the U.S. muddled it for the most part.

Making her way back to her spot, the red head lifted a hand and ran it through her hair to get the wayward strands back into place. She turned about for a moment to see who had caught the ball before she stopped moving. "Looks like I choose you Rain!" The woman announced happily, pointing to the male that had joined herself and Lucas for breakfast earlier.

After their first game of rock paper scissors, chicken and t-rexes all the campers that Suzanna and Billy were to watch over were herded into a small circle including Rain, who had sat out the first game. Rain looked over at everyone, the two who he was sitting by for breakfast seemed to be in this "little" group they had going on. As for the rest of the campers they were off in their own little area with their counselors doing their own thing, probably games just they were about to do. Rain turned back around to look at Suzanna when she started talking about the game. Embarrassing questions? he though just as the ball she was spinning was thrown unexpectedly at Mikheil. Next up was Lucas, followed by Evelin then the ball found itself back into Suzanna's hands. After Suzanna was done it was tossed to Takumi, then to Megumi, and then finally to Constance before being tossed to him before she even began to answer a question.

Well the ball was exactly tossed to him, more like in his general direction and he just happened to catch it. Constance seemed waaay to excited for this, but he supposed that was a good thing. It was a nice change of pace from the awkward, unwilling and seemingly unhappy previous ball holders. But now after that little display, what was he to do? The same thing or perhaps something more 'calm' to bring it back. It's almost like being in a competition and going after a A+ act or performance. Once Constance was back in her spot, she looked around until her eyes landed on him.

Rain gave a slight smile and looked down at the ball to see that two questions staring him directly in the face was the question about a phrase to describe your life and something you thought you'd regret. There were a few things he could say to either question. "Hey everyone... the name is Seong Jae-sang, you can just call me Rain. I come South Korea. And as for my question... something I thought I'd regret would be having to do mandatory military service. I won't say it turned out amazing or I ended up regretting it, but let's just say it's something I thought I'd regret but I didn't." Rain turned the ball in his hands as he looked for someone who hasn't had a turn yet, and when he found someone he locked as with them although the other couldn't see his since he had shades on. Rain tossed the ball over to a true red head (unlike Constances' whose seemed to be dyed) who he will soon know as Arty.

"Eeee!" Artifex found herself squealing involuntarily as she caught the ball. Having had plenty of time to think about the questions by now she was excited about getting the chance to answer them, "oops, heh, sorry." her cheeks flushed almost as red as her hair, "soo.... Hi. My name's Artifex Amora and I'm a seamstress" She tossed the ball back and forth between her hands, "I'm Canadian born and raised but I've got some pretty hard core Dutch background-hence, you know, the height" she chuckled, "I'm actually one of the shorter people in my related family if you can believe that."

~Stay on topic now, you're going to lose them~ cautioned that little voice in her head, always reminding her just what's what.

Clearing her throat a little, Artifex continued, "r-right. So. I always say my motto is that if you can dream it, I can make it. And we aren't just talking clothes, I mean pretty much anything that involves sewing. Stuffies, pillows, bags, book covers, puppets... Given the time, money and resources, I specialize in making dreams come true." She smiled proudly at the statement.

~Really? That's what you're going for? Can you be more flagrant?~

"Or, y'know, I try." she shrugged a little and looked down at the ball, "I guess it sounds a little cocky to say seeing as I haven't really figured out how to get people to notice my work... so... um... Next?" she looked around and noticed Billy hadn't been tossed the ball yet so that's where it went sailing off to next.

~Way to end on a high note~

It was pretty obvious the ball was supposed to go to him, but it seemed fate wanted him to dive into the circle of campers to grab it. Chin stained green from the grass and his feet sprawled across Anna's lap, the freckle faced counselor laughed. Snake crawling back to his spot, he sloppily ruffled his hair and tried to rub off the green streaks from his face. Calling it quits after seeing Anna trying to hold back her giggle, he sighed. There was no point in playing mean. He was used to doing this kind of stuff. Maybe he should start with that?

"I used to play a lot of soccer when I was in high school and college. I guess it's just one of those habits that dies hard -- always reaching for the ball. I'm quite surprised I didn't try to bump it with my head. I can only imagine the repercussion of such a move." Offering the sea of faces a sincere grin, Billy's mossy eyes trailed down to the ball to see which question he was to answer.

"A perfect day? Umm, before I answer that, I'm Billy Pelham. When I was a goober, I thought my last name was phlegm so if you say Pelham wrong, I promise I won't take offense. I'm from Cape Cod, located on the east coast in the United States. I've pretty much spent all my time in the New England states so coming here is quite outside my norm." Whirling the ball around, his lips shifted to the left then the right as he tried to figure out what he was going to say. A part of him wanted to say something cocky, but he figured there was no point in pretending with these guys. They seemed pretty decent and he owed it to them to give them the truth.

"I would have to say my perfect day would start off with a 5-mile run along the beach just as the sun rises. There's something magical about running in the morning rays and watching the colors dance in the sky and on the water. The fresh taste of salt in your mouth and the slowly warming sand below your feet. Really can't beat that." Hesitantly looking away, he touched his hair while a light blush came on his face. "Sharing that moment with someone for the rest of my life would make every day perfect."

Falling silent, Billy just held the ball in his hand for a few seconds. Eyes flickering with life and love, he found himself wishing on that ball that he would perhaps find the girl of his dreams here. He was getting up there in age and if he didn't settle down soon, he might not ever. If it weren't for Anna poking him, he might have kept dreaming.

"You're turn, girly." Lightly dropping the ball into her lap, he rest his cheek on his hand before listening to the blond.

"Pleasure to meet you all! Really looking forward to this time we're about to spend together. I think it'll be swell. But anyway, I'm Anna Fletcher. I'm from a small town in Pennsylvania. I'm just south of the New York border. Kinda like Billy, I haven't really been to many places -- just New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Canada, which is lovely. I love all the camping places up there. And Niagara Falls is to die for." Pushing her blond braids back, Anna looked down at her hand that remained firmly on the ball. She felt a form hover over her and instantly grinned. Billy was quite the nosy guy, but it was nice to see he was interested in what she landed on.

"Oh god. I guess I'm coming out of the closet with this one, guys. I am a... otaku. Yup, one of those crazy people that cosplays and watching a ton of anime and manga. Hmmm, I have to think hard on what the last series I was into. I want to say it's this anime called Another. It was amazing. It was dark and grungy, but so well-written. It had a psychological twist to it and it really got you thinking. I absolutely love the camping scene where all hell broke lose. It was just so terrifyingly amazing! The artwork was top-notch, too. If you've yet to watch it, give it a chance. It's worth your time, even if you're not an anime lover!"

Shooting the ball back to Suzanna, Anna smiled. "That was a really near game, Suzanna! We all got a chance to share something we might not have ever had a chance to share. I feel like I'm getting to know you all just a bit just by hearing you answer these questions."

Feeling the earth shift beside her, Anna looked up to see Billy was now standing. Brow cocked, she wondered just what was going to happen next. Thankfully, she didn't have to wait long.

"Well, I suppose we ought to send you all to your rooms to tidy up and get ready for the group activities. Today we're doing team building games."

The remainder of the day, everyone went through this beautiful walk in the woods and jumped around from ropes course to ropes course. Some where lower whereas others were higher. A few people passed up on the high courses, but the low ones were safe to all. The group did things like arrange themselves in birth order without speaking, while balancing on a log. Should someone fall off, everyone was to jump off and walk to the end to start over. Another game was to figure out how to pass everyone from one side to the other, without touching the ground. This game involved some carrying and serious strategy. Another game involved passing people through holes in a slew of ropes. Some people were lucky to duck or jump, whereas others had to be manhandled across. Billy, to his dismay, was forced to finagle his way through a small hole (the last one available), which brought the enter group to tears. To say it was funny would be an understatement.

When night fell, most of the other teams turned in for the night. But Team Olympians wanted to head to the lake and have a marshmallow roast while telling ghost stories. To their surprise, the Camp Leader joined them and told a grand tale about samurai and titans. It sounded like something out of myth and magic, but from the way he spoke, it almost felt real. There was no way he could put that much "feels" into a myth, right?

It was super late before the entire crew sluggishly moved to their beds. Without the strength to even argue about their partner (who was of the opposite gender), their tired eyes closed and, before they new it, it was morning again. The sweet scent of breakfast filled their cabins and they would soon begin yet another day of fun. Only, as this day progressed, each felt off. By 6PM, they were forced to retire to bed early due to feeling extremely ill. Whether it was illusions, a numbing headache, or the sudden fatigue, everyone crawled into bed and tried to sleep off the feelings. It was probably around 5AM the next day when their ailments seemed to vanish. Only, as each stirred, they would realize that they weren't in their individual cabins anymore. No, instead they were all lumped into this large room, each sleeping on the floor.

Groggy and sore, they would sit up and begin to wonder what just happened. None of their possessions were there. Everything was gone, save for their clothes.

"Okay, this is one intense joke, guys. Ha ha. Now, can we go back to our rooms?" Anna took the humorous approach, figuring it was just a game played on them by the counselors. However, she would soon learn that wasn't the case.

"Anna, this wasn't us. We're just as baffled as you." Wandering about the room, Billy started to notice that the room was dull, having nothing to it. The walls were wooden, as were the floors. There was no furniture. There weren't any decorations. And the windows were pretty plan. Daring to peek out it, Billy stammered back in confusion before running toward the door. The moment he flung it open, a world of green flatland surrounded them. With the sun just rising, Billy cupped his hand over his eyes to really scan the horizon. The place looked oddly familiar but something was off. The buildings were gone. The others were gone. Everything was just... barren and plain.

"Where the hell are we?"

By now, the others were probably checking the area out. Although there weren't any signs that screamed "You went back in time," the campers wouldn't find anything from the 21st century. They wouldn't really find anything. Around them were grasslands and, to the south, a forest with tall, ominous trees. Just what the hell was going on? Who would be brave enough to suggest looking around outside more to put an end to all these questions?

GM NOTE
Welcome to the past! As you probably assume, your characters have no idea what's going on. What they do know is that there isn't a whole lot to this place. If someone wants to suggest exploring outside, go for it. You can split into team to check out the area -- there's a lake not too far in the distance, there's the forest to the south, and all around are fields and grass. Maybe if you run until the end of where your eyes can see, you'll spy something? P.S. Those who dare venture toward the woods, be wary of what lies within. You'll hear the sound of something moaning. You'll here a rumble. And you'll feel the world move below your're feet.

After Billy's turn at the ball game, Evelin decided she could maybe give him a chance at being on good terms with her. Maybe he was only an ass hole around big groups of people, she hoped that was the case. The day then continued with team building games. The colorful girl found herself a main component on whatever team she was put on during the obsticle courses. Being small and extremely flexible and athletic, the others found that they could literally carry or throw her through the small obsticales and have her do the rest. On the log. They all decided it was best to leave her till last, where they then just passed her from guy to guy until she was at the end of the log and on her feet. It was a whole new concept to crowd serfing. When they were racing through the ropes though, that was the best part.

Billy and her had been up against each other, and the race was really close at that point. When they launched into the web of ropes, she found that they were tied up in speed until the small hole they had to get through. She wiggled through with ease and won, but he sat there and struggled for a good ten minutes. Laughing, she climbed back in and helped pull him out, while another gave his legs a good push. It was definitely the joke of the day. Though it was all very worth it. Things were just so fun suddenly. People were coming out of their shells and laughing.

When the tall rope courses were offered, Eve had been the first to jump at the challenge. It amazed her as she went through them, how the fire to live life to the fullest burned through her being again. It had been two years ago, when she was just a shell of a girl, praying for death, and giving up on life. No one there would ever believe it. With how bubbly and happy she was, it would be impossible to guess that she had been near dead.

The marshmallow roast was when she found time to sketch every camper there in her group, finding herself eating more of those sweets then she probably should have when Billy began to tell the story of magic and myth. Her eyes taking in everything as he spoke, her mind weaving the world he spoke of so easily, she felt so deeply connected to the beautiful story. It was like a trance breaking when it was over. Returning to her cabin, she found that Mikieli was her roommate, but she was fine with that as long as he didn't try anything silly. Passing out, she found sleep accepted her faster then it ever had before.

The next day, everyone seemed to feel off. She was suffering a lot that day, compared to some, she had illusions, and a huge migrain that seemed to be causing her to struggle to even move. Forced to go to bed early that night, she found that she could barely breathe with such a pain running through her body. It was like a knife of fire running through her body, and carving out her soul some. Or at least, that is what happened in her dream. Waking up, she lifted her head with ease surprisingly. Sighing in relief, she rubbed her eyes and stretched. Sighing she stood, and her eyes grew to the size of tennis balls as she looked around. To top it off, she was in her summer nightgown.

Thank god it wasn't see through and quite modest compared to what it could be. Deciding to not dwell on that, she moved to the door with Billy. Slipping around him, she stepped onto the soft grass, her bright hair in beautiful waves, for she hadn't straightened it before bed like she usually did. So her natural waves and curls were out to play. Running a hand through her colorful hair, she sighed heavily and turned back to Billy. He looked just as shocked and surprised as they all were. Taking in a breath, she looked out across the plains again and seemed to spot something glowing in the distance. Maybe water?

"I think theres water that way." she said, as she pointed in the direction of the slight reflection she saw. Looking back at the others, she bit her lip, and then sighed. "We should look around, maybe we can find someone and ask them where we are." she offered, trying to be brave and act like a leader a bit. If they all freaked out, like she was on the inside, they needed to move to keep themselves from worrying too much.

It seemed the ball game hadn't been a total failure after all. Anna had even complimented her on it which made Suzanna quite happy indeed, although she wouldn't admit to being so nervous about it. In truth, she had liked how seemingly honestly and openly everyone had went about answering their questions, revealing their personalities perhaps more than they realized. She knew she, too, had done that, but it was only the first layer. As time would pass, she'd manage to open up more, for sure...

As day progressed, both Mikheil and Suzanna actively took part in games. Both felt very relieved they had some muscle and athletic inclination without which all of this would have been a bit like fun nightmare, if such thing existed. As Suzanna was small, second smallest in group, and fittingly light, no one seemed to have real problems carrying her around, except for the fact she was also very ticklish and therefor ended up squealing or giggling now and then when picked up or passed on. Young woman had such a good time that she even forgot to scold Billy afterwards. Her bubbly nature didn't remain hidden as she went through tasks grinning and joking, making hearty fun of herself and her ticklishness.

Mikheil turned out to be stronger and more reliable than he looked when helping others across and also a good strategist in second game. He found himself laughing a lot more than he had expected and even cracking a joke or two for the whole group to hear. Although he did try to stay close to Anna at start.

While the day had been long and even stressful, Suzanna still felt charged up when night approached. Mikheil didn't want to be spoilsport although he was tired, besides - campfire and marshmallow roast? Who could really refuse that? And it really was worth it, Camp leader's story captivating him and pulling in. Now that's worthy of a video game... I'll have to ask him sometime if he would permit adapting the story... he thought at end of it and then... Well, all he wanted to do was sleep. Sure, he was nervous that girl would be his roommate, but no point in complaining about it, was there?

Suzanna bid everyone good night and then, nearly zombified, got to her, well her and Billy's cabin. Before slipping in her room she gave him a small salute with tired smile. "Good job in the end, rest well - you deserve it. G'night." While she still didn't quite like him, she had promised herself to put up with the man to her best ability and shunning him like a dog wouldn't do any good for any of them.

Next morning, she felt like she had went overboard with whole yesterday, though. Woman was running slight fever and felt cold, cold, cold. Which she absolutely hated. All that was topped with headache. Despite this, she got up to attend to her duties with smile. She held out for a good time, while urging everyone of her team that didn't feel well to go and rest ahead of time, also making sure more severe cases got medical attention if needed and even brought some snacks to their rooms. But in the end, even she couldn't bear the horrible cold, feverish feeling and went to rest.

Mikheil had been plagued by nightmares and headache. And all his muscles felt sore, brains replaced with cotton candy... He really did welcome the chance to go to bed earlier. He'd one of the last to wake out of the bunch, too. Suzanna was already up and about in her kitty-themed pajamas.

Bewildered, she was standing outside now, looking about. "Do you think other team pranked us?" she inquired to Billy or maybe no one in particular, just wondering out loud. At Evelin's suggestion, she nodded. "That's good idea, but for best results we might need to split up and what if any group gets lost, can't find way back? It doesn't seem like we're anywhere near old camp..." She didn't want to bring up danger, too, but it was on the tip of her tongue.

Meanwhile, T-shirt and short clad Mikheil was desperately looking for at least his notebooks.

Artifex was excited for just about everything. She was eager to jump into anything new and while sometimes anxious about being first she always wanted to try and break out of that and offered to do so more than once.

However a few people may have noticed that anytime she really started to loosen up, something always seemed to back her draw back again, as though not certain she should laugh quite that loud or if her joke was really appropriate or not.

She didn't have a whole lot to say at times and often gave her opinions almost last but when she did speak up it was always with some sort of crafty plan that let her team move forward more efficiently. Arty had always been good at more tactical thinking but sometimes it took her a little time to come up with the right course of action.

Glad to know she wasn't the only one feeling out of it, Arty elected to spend most of the day sitting or laying down. She had always been rather sensitive to any chemical unbalances in her body and the last time she had felt this dizzy it was due to a drastic iron deficiency. And here she was without her iron pills! So she requested something beef-based from the kitchens, wolfed it down and went to bed.

It was a little awkward with the coed bunking but her and Rain figured out a system that seemed to work. All in all Arty was just glad she had her fully covering Pj's which tended to merely consist of a pair of comfy track pants and whatever t-shirt she had worn the day before. In this case, that t-shirt was a simple forest green one that made her eyes look more green than blue.

Then they awoke, all together in a place that was definitely not the camp they had gone to sleep to. Arty swallowed nervously and wrapped her arms around herself, not exactly cold but more of that anxiety coming out again. She went over and peering out a window did not seem to make anything more clear.

~This is wrong~ it was more than her gut speaking to her.

"I don't think this is a prank" Arty swallowed, stepping to the door and looking out at Billy. He seemed just as confused as they were and that was disconcerting in itself.

~Stick together, stay in the center of the group or you'll get picked off like in some horror movie. You don't want to be the first found dead.~

The notion did nothing to calm her nerves and Arty found herself moving closer to the others again, "We should stay together. I-I don't think splitting up is worth the risk."

The first day was a blast. She actually found herself partnering up with Mikheil and Billy a lot more than she figured. A part of her wondered why she found this sudden urge to hang around with Billy, but she quickly dismissed it. It wasn't a fling; it was simply her love of being with the leader. Billy had no issues leading the group around so Anna clung to that. Besides, it's not like he was ugly. And oh god did he smell good. There were a few instances where she swore she was sniffing him, especially at the marshmallow toast. Ugh, can you talk about how she must have looked?! Thank god it was dark and thank god no one saw anything. She might have accidentally collided into Billy's chest and took in a deep inhale. It was when the two of them were putting out the fire. The look in his green eyes mixed with the scent of his chest were just to die for. Good thing he was a cocky jerk! There would be no way in hell she would ever fall in love with that kind of man. Mikheil was far more desirable. Not to mention, he was as cute as a button.

When the next day rolled around, Anna felt so off her game. She was constantly running to the bathroom. Thankfully, a few other girls from the other teams seemed to share in her pains. The awkwardness of it soon flushed away (ha ha, pun). Within no time, the six girls who were plagued with the cramps, bloating, and discomfort of indigestion, were gossiping about boys while they tried to flush out whatever was destroying their system. Thankfully, by noon they were all feeling much better. However, they feared eating so spent most of the day doubled-over in pain due to the lack of food. In all honesty though, could you blame them? Who would want to empty their contents a second round! Starving was less messy (and less smelly)!

By that evening, Anna was so fatigued that she called it quits before the counselors even told everyone they could turn in early. Passing out in her yoga shorts and cropped shirt, the woman hadn't even remembered to remove her jewelry or makeup. She even managed to forget to take off her socks.

When she came to the next morning, she was thrilled to find that she had magically forgotten to take things off. Depending on how the day went, she might be really glad. Granted, a different set of clothing would have been nice. She was showing off a lot of skin. The cool breeze of the morning was enough to make her shiver. At times like these, she wish she had a jacket! But she would find no such luck.

Shooting to the door, her orbs peered out into the wilderness. From the looks of things, civilization, or life, didn't seem possible. Weighing the pros and cons of staying together or splitting up, she scurried to Mikheil's side and blurted out her answer. "Mikheil, Megumi, Rain, and I shall check out the south. We'll see if we can see any trails in the forest and look around that way for signs of life. Arty, Coops, Lucas, and Suzanna, why don't you three look around this building for anything we can use. We'll need to get food and start a fire. Constance, Billy, Eve, Takumi, why don't you four head to the water. We'll need to collect some to drink, assuming it's not pure freshwater." Puffing out her cheeks, Anna reached for Mikheil's hand and tugged him toward the forest. "C'mon, guppy! We've got some exploring to do!"

Billy glanced at Suzanna before rolling his eyes. Anna sure was a strange one but she was the one who hailed from the forest. If she wanted to go check out those tall, creepy trees Billy wouldn't argue! "If you happen to find a pal or bucket, have someone run it to us. We'll carry back as much as we can take," he said to Suzanna. "As for my team, let's head out and see if we can get anything to eat or drink."

The forest was probably a good ten minute walk to get to. The water much closer, being about a five minute walk. Within no time, Billy and his team were at the water's edge. Before diving into it and seeing if it was safe, the group decided to check out the reeds and tall grass. Perhaps they could find some roots!

"Not going to lie," Billy reluctantly frowned, "but I know little to nothing about editable Japanese plants." Much like the rest of the guys, Billy stood in loosely fitting pajama pants (black in color) and a light grey slim fitting workout shirt.

One by one the people went, he was able to learn about them and see a bit on their more personal sides. He had no trouble standing there quietly and patiently, silently watching the others. It was quite plesant indeed. He had not had a chance to speak with many others like this within the past. Now however, things seemed to be looking up for him indeed. It was after this game, that they went out to explore a little more of the wild side of things. He loved nature, and for the more active side of him, being outside was perfect. He was used to the more beach setting, so the woods were a nice change for him. He was able to relax a bit, as they went through the courses they found out there.

He was able to let go a bit, and get through them with the others. It was fun, but hard work as well. His body was reminded of it as they began to head back. His body was tired, he could feel it already. As they headed back though, something felt a little bit off. He could not put his finger on it, but something around them seemed different. It was beginning to give him a headache, which made him even more only want sleep. He managed to shift to a pair of black pants, and a white tank top. He slipped into his bed, feeling a bit sick. When morning came though, waking felt more like waking from a hangover. He placed an arm over his eyes, shielding them from the sun that came into the place.

His back felt sore, and it did not take him long to realize that he was not in his bed any longer. He sat up, his head giving a sharp pound as he did. His eyes went first to the others, then to the room. This was...odd. He stood up, ignoring the protests of his body as he did. It had deffinetly gotten colder, which was a bit where he slightly wished that he had worn something else to bed. One of the girls was the first to speak, before the counciler began to move about the room. Lucas to a bit of a look himself, it really did seem off. He got a growing feeling inside, that something was dead wrong. A hand moved up to his head, fingers running through his hair. If he could get rid of the damn headache, he could think things through.

A sigh escaped him, as the others seemed to be taking off a bit more now to explore. There were debates, on weather to move on, or to stay together. Both sounded a tad reasonable in their own way. He stayed silent, taking in the more nature bound world around them now. What the hell was going on? He wanted to believe this was all just some kind of joke as well, but he could not stop the feeling that it was indeed not. It was the same female now who spoke up, taking charge and dividing them up into small groups to take a look around. He was designated with Arty, Coops, and Suzanna. He could work with that, they were to take a look around, see if there was anything to use.

He glanced back at the room, from the looks of it, they would not find much exactly within this very room. It was rather plain indeed. He was not about to sit around and be useless though, he gave a slight nod, before he looked at the other three who were supposed to be assisting him. It was more of a formality, a sort of 'where to start' gesture. The others wandering off gave him a bad feeling, but he had no place right now to just tell them not to go. "Be careful..." was all he said to them, not even sure if any of them would hear or bother to listen or care. He would have rather them be careful, than for something to happen to one of them.

Somewhere in the middle of the group conversation, Mikheil had stopped his frantic search and just stood in middle of the room like a scolded puppy. That's about how he felt, too. Everything was gone, even his clothes and shoes. Heck, that didn't worry him as much as his notebooks. It was silly, but the thought of having lost those horrified him the most. No matter where they were, he needed them! Well, in truth, it was absurd. Bunch of paper wouldn't save him. Except for his sanity, maybe.

Besides, he had nothing to add to the whole conversation going between counselors, Evelin who had been his roommate just few hours ago, and Anna. Funny, both Billy and Suzanna looked utterly confused about this all and it wasn't the model-guy who took lead but his new friend. To say that he wasn't relieved she didn't put Billy in their team would be lying. The further he was away from Anna, the better. That rang warning bells in his head, but he seriously had bigger things to worry about than his possible start of crush on the blonde girl. What mattered more was that both Rain and Megumi seemed sensible enough.

When Anna took his hand and tugged him onward, Mikheil obediently followed, wishing everyone a quiet 'good luck' before exiting the building. First step in cool grass made him shudder. "Whoever did this could have left us our shoes," he grumbled as the group walked towards forest. On top of that, he felt rather awkward, dressed like this for everyone to see, too, however those thoughts faded quickly from his head when he staggered, land itself trembling under his feet. "Did you feel that? Or am I just going crazy?" he asked with frown.

There really was nothing else to do than roll with Anna's suggestions, at least there wouldn't be pairs or single person wandering about on their own. Too bad it hadn't occurred to her so quickly. Woman thought that she really had to get a grip of herself - and this situation. Tugging on the hem of her T-shirt, she coughed slightly to clear throat: "Alright. So. I will go out to see if there's a shed nearby. Artifex and Coops, why don't you check out the whole building? I will probably be back soon" she said decisively. "Lucas, you can come with me if you want," she looked at him, not quite able to 'order' anyone around, just give rather firm suggestions.

Unless someone minded, she'd head out as well. Moving around building's corner, Suzanna stopped, taking in the unfamiliar sight. "I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore..." she sighed. Although... That mountain in distance looked familiar. But to see it like this, they would have to be looking at it from nearly the same spot as where the camp were. Which was simply impossible.

Well, she didn't find a shed, but she found large, flat rocks that she assumed could be used for cooking. Behind the house a hole that was apparently meant for them to do their 'business' in. Well, that was better than nothing. She went back in and group's joined effort resulted in them finding room that held various tools. There were few hoes lined up against the wall. There were also some heavy wooden buckets and rather formidable looking sickle. And a mop. She asked Lucas to take two of the buckets to group that went to the lake.

Megumi had enjoyed the past games and activities that her team had played, and found herself smiling and laughing a lot more than she had expected to. Every minute she was moving, and it was the first time the small girl had experienced such a thing since her adventures in abandoned buildings. At night, whilst people were telling ghost stories, she had her eye caught by the camp leader, who decided to tell as tale of strange adventure. To Megumi's ears, the story was a new adventure. She had never heard a story like that before, and her eyes twinkled with glee at the new information she could share with her friend upon her return.

The next day the petite woman felt sick down to her toes. Nevertheless, she kept going on strong, going as far as putting on a surgical mask so her sudden cold wouldn't spread. It was strange, she had never been one to get sick unless she had stayed up the night prior on coffee and studying to her death. None of that had happened yesterday, in fact, she had slept early the night before. There was nothing she could do to counter it, just take some pills and hope it blew over. Near the end of the day, she saw that everyone else in her group had also fallen ill, and when everyone started to depart to their cabins, she scurried over to hers quickly. She changed into a summer panda onesie costume she had in her luggage bag. Megumi didn't have much time to question why such a thing was with her pajamas, or why it was on the top of her pile in the suitcase, instead, she ended up passing out on the bed as soon as her back hit it (with her glasses still on,) due to her extreme fatigue.

She woke up quite suddenly however, as she felt pain on the side of her face. Groggily, she forced her eyes to open, and met an unfamiliar floor. Sitting up, she noticed the others seemed to be up and about, and even going outside what seemed to be an empty house. Slowly, she picked herself off the ground and followed them all outside.

The surrounding nature, was familiar, yet not. She could pinpoint mountains she had seen before, but they were bigger than she had remembered, and much grassier. Megumi wasn't panicking, surprisingly, but she was still in a half-asleep state where everything seemed dreamlike. She had been in situations similar to this when she had explored haunted places, but she wasn't doing stuff like that, and everyone seemed confused, or scared. Rubbing her eyes, she yawned loudly, and looked from Billy to Suzanna and finally to Anna, who proposed the plan to split into groups.

After her sleepiness finally wore off, Megumi got a good look of their surroundings. Something was off about where they were, and it seemed like a really bad start of some anime she had watched before, but she didn't really want to seem stupid so she kept quiet about it. They seemed to be separated into groups, but the petite girl was skeptical about such a thing. Was it really safe to split up in a place that seemed out of some book? Some thoughts bounced around in her head for a bit as she inched towards her group. The situation was completely out of the blue, and to top off the weird feeling she had, they had all been sick the night prior to this occurrence, so maybe it had something to do with their current situation.

Her trail of thought was broken when she heard Lucas, and gave the taller male a respectful bow before walking off after Mikheil, Anna, and Rain. Anna and Mikheil seemed to hit it off all too well, and she couldn't help but feel envious, though the feeling washed away as she picked up a large stick nearby and started to play with it, pretending it was a sword and whatnot. Their current predicament bothered her greatly, to be put in such an odd setting all of a sudden, it was like a test. The stick in her hand moved about in the air, as if drawing her erratic thoughts. She looked a bit silly in her panda onesie, barefoot and waving a stick around as her group walked into the forest, but she didn't seem to care, as she was busy trying to figure out a logical explanation for the sudden transport of only her team.

The ground trembled as she had jumped over a small boulder, and she lost her footing and fell on her hands and knees. Grumbling, she stood, wiping her hands and knees clean of dirt. "Not to worry Mik-san*," She grumbled, a bit more to herself,"You are not going as mad as you believe."

(* She pronounces it as "Mikku" so it's like, 'Nikku' but with an M.)

"G-guys?" Artifex watched them pick groups, "G-Guys I really don't think..." her voice was already small and now she felt like she was shrinking away, "we shouldn't split up..." they were walking away, some already gone, "guys?"

~This is how it starts~

"But..."

~Let's just hope we're not the group that dies first~

"maybe no one will...?"

~You've seen enough horror films to know that's not the case. Hell, you've practically lived one, haven't you?~

Artifex gulped back a whimper. Why was everyone taking this so calmly? Except maybe Mikheil but even he had stopped searching for whatever was freaking him out and now he was following the split-up plan to.

One by one they migrated to their groups and went off to try and find out what was happening and yet Artifex found herself stuck in the middle of the room, a little too terrified to move. Her arms wrapped firmly around herself as though that could make a difference between life and death. The already pale complexion of the ginger girl had now lost any remaining colour.

~Oh great, now it's just a few of you. I wonder if anyone will even notice if you're the first to die?~

It didn't take long for their group to reach the lake, and the water looked rather clear and promising honestly. Walking towards the reeds, Evelin felt like this lake was aweful close to the one back at camp. Hearing Billy's words, she smiled. "I do, but this lake is a lot like the one back at camp. Its highly unlikely, any really edible roots will be here." she said and then moved to a reed free area. Not having to worry about getting her nightgown wet, she slowly waded in to almost her knees. "But there may be fish." she offered lightly, and holding still for a few minutes, the fish began to swim around her again. Wishing she had her bow with her, they would easily have breakfast if she had that.

"If I had my bow, we would have 20 fish in a flash. But we have to settle for the good old grab and throw method." she offered lightly and smiled back at the others on shore. "Get ready, if I get one, its gonna be flung up onto the shore. Make sure it doesn't flop back in." she instructed, and then focused back on the fish flittering about in the cool water. It was making her legs cold, and a bit numb, but the food would be worth it. Moving like lightning, she snatched one with the scoop of her hand and it was sent flying through the air.

The fish wriggled and flopped around, but soon enough the others had it secure. Grinning Eve gave a fist pump and nodded. "Billy you should give it a try. You're fast. All you have to do is throw it onto the bank. With two of us getting fish, we will have enough for everyone in no time." she offered with a smile. Turning her head back to focus on the water, she went deathly still again. Then she struck again. Missing she stumbled and nearly fell in, splashing herself a bit. Laughing lightly she rubbed the back of her head and chuckled. "Well almost." she said sheepishly. Turning back to her job, she went still again. Hopefully the others were having some good luck in finding something to store these fish and water. And hopefully no one was freaking out too much.

To say Billy was surprised was an understatement. Evelin, of all people, was wading into the water and making plans on how to catch the fish. Being a water-lover, Billy knew exactly what she was up to but he never pegged her to be that kind of girl. After receiving an invite to join her, Billy rolled up his pant legs before walking into the cool water. He was thankful that his pants were on (he thought about removing them). The sudden coldness surely would have made things noticeable. At least with the pants covering that area, no one would be wiser!

Standing still just as Eve did, Billy watched and waited for a fish to move. The second one did, his body dove into the water. His method of getting fish was unlike Evelin's, but it was still effective. With his entire body in the water, he didn't have to worry about falling or flailing. Hands outstretched, he found something and quickly shot it back up over his head. Just as he was doing that, another fish came into view. Unable to punt this one across the lake to the others, he simply reached after it. A mouth full of weeds later, he found himself losing the fish then grabbing it then losing it. It was so slippery that he didn't have a second to spit the weeds from his mouth. Brows furrowing and his serious game face now on, he finally gave the tricky fish a good hard squeeze. But it was too much! Slipping from his hands, Billy's eyes went wide with disbelief. He was going to lose that fat sucker!

"Nooo," he said while spitting! Diving back into the water, his foot made contact with the slimy creature. Catching it just right, he did a backflip in the water. Fish flying and Billy's legs coming back down to the ground, the brunette shot from the water and sent a panicked look at the two on shore. They scrambled to grab the flopping sucker, but just moments before he escaped, a rock was chucked at it. The fish stopped moving instantly.

"As dumb as we look, at least we will have food to share!"

Rather than diving back into the water again, Billy followed Eve's lead of silently stalking and then punching or kicking. If they kept this up, they might have enough fish to feed everyone at least twice! There were a ton of fish here. It was just getting them to land that would prove difficult.

Evelin watched as Billy took his turn at trying to catch a fish. Chuckling as he waded in, she watched and gasped as he flung himself into the water. "Billy!" she called, at first thinking that he had fallen in. Realizing that he was taking that approach to catch the fish. Laughing loudly as he flailed and floundered about in the water, she was holding her sides and could hardly breathe. As he came up with weeds in his mouth, her laughing was even louder, and she may have snorted once or twice. When they finally got the large sucker on shore and knocked out from the rock thrown at it, she wiped the tears from her eyes. Gosh that was funny.

"If only we had had a video camera." Evelin teased and then chuckled. "yeah we can feed everybody, but remind me if I see a big fish for you to go after it. Then we get food and a movie." she joked before reaching out and pulling a reed off of his head. Tossing it away she smirked and shook her head. Pretending to roll up her invisible sleeves she waded back in and waited. Spotting another fish, she grabbed it and then tossed it at the shore, with a grin. "At this rate we will have enough for a good meal for everyone."
