Yes!!!!!! You can meow, clàw, climb and run faster. There's also à white raccoon form!
They're more like cosplay costumes instead of a suit. * w *

And the objective is to collect stars and play multiplayer.

Well, you have to save fairies too and defeat Bowser and all those old enemies.
Plus, the puzzles on each level are ridiculously intricate xD

Well, you still have to hop, kick and throw the enemies. There's the walking toy bombs, the piranha plants, the fire piranha plants, the mushrooms, there's kitty mushrooms, the fish tad poles, the white squids, the skeleton turtles, the regular turtles, the throwing hammer guy, the throwing boomerang guy, the fire balls, boo, tarus bull thingies, the boulder guys, magic wizards and throwing obstacle creatures.

The bosses are still the same, like, the big turtle guy, the magic wizard person.
I don't know if the boulder boss was from the former game or the tarus bull person, though*

You still get to do the lotto, try to win 1 ups. And you still get to choose between two presents, the smaller one or the bigger one to get power ups. Plus, you get to go through green tunnels to extra game maps to win extra green stars, 1 ups and other things.

The maps are basically added on from the old ones, just more pazaz. Getting to the stick pole with the bowser flag is still the same way you defeat the level. And you earn 100 coins to get 1 ups the same too.

But there's also a new power up for you to be a turtle throwing boomerang person as well. I almost forgot about that, lul.
And if one player is too far from another player, you'll be transported into a bubble to the other players location--just like Yoshi's Island with baby Mario.

The other perk is you can change out characters simultaneously if you wanted to. Some game maps actually require a specific character to push a button in each game in order to get a green star or something special.

Ohhh! You also work to fill up your stamp collection.
The stamp collection is all the characters in the game you try to obtain.

I won't lie, though. Some of the game levels are harder than others. Like, there's 100 second games, where you try to get all the green stars and the stamp all at once while trying to get the the goal. @ w @; Those are really wicked.

And the bricks are used the same to get power ups and coins.
There's also hidden bricks that will shimmer into view when you walk past them xD Almost missed a couple of'em so far

Man. Its been a while since I've played a Mario game. I'm glad that they're so timeless tho. I recognize a lot of those concepts, even tho some of them are new to me. But I guess that's how you know its a good game.

Awww. I am curious how many have kept their nintendo stuff in good enough condition to sell, though.

Yeah, the game is worth the money you buy it for. I would suggest taking your time to play it, though, it wont last long when you really get into it. Loolol We've made it to the extra world at the end of the game already. But it takes 210 green stars to unlock it and it would take awhile to get them since we declined to play the single player levels.

The new concepts do take a while to get used to but they are easy to pick up.

Windows 8 is like Windows 7? The home screen is boxes and apps. You put whatever you want on there, kinda like a smartphone. And there's a rectangle box that says "Desktop" and you click that, and wala! PC Desktop.

My mom hates the way its all setup and had me show her how to work it.
Then again, I always have to show her how to use things anyway. *shrugs*
