If my drawings are on the pages in my sketchbook or a slip of scrap paper with my sketchbook near by, I save them. I have thrown away some drawings, not because I didn't want to keep them but because they either were misplaced and torn or my kids decided to add to them.

I do my best to keep track of the stuff I draw, but I have a bad habbit of drawing on everything, so its always a bit of an uphill battle to keep my stuff together. I really need to get better at drawing in my sketchbook and not the back of my graded homework XD

I keep them until I just have no room to store them anymore and then I sort through them and keep the more important ones. Ever since I got my tablet though I stopped drawing on paper so I don't really have that problem.

Sketches done on paper go into a giant shoebox that I have for safe keeping.
Really nice traditional drawings go into portfolios/binders/etc.
Anything digital is organized accordingly into a zillion different folders.
Things that I deem worthy of not bleeding out someone's eyes goes up on my handful of galleries.

I recently got rid of a ton of REALLY old art. Like....so old and bad I never really wanted to see it again. I hung onto a few, though, just for kicks. I usually scan them and store the hard copy somewhere. I don't trust technology enough to assume that once it's scanned into a digital storage space that I'll have it forever. Things happen and files disappear or get lost and so on. So I like to know that I've got the hard copy around. Besides, I really don't want to scan EVERY SINGLE drawing I have. A lot are just studies and gestures from my drawing class. I like having them around, but I don't really need to scan them. The ones that I scan are usually gifts or portfolio pieces. Sometimes sketchbook work just to show what I've been up to.
I guess I'm just old fashioned and like the real deal a little better. ^_^"

I keep every single one of them , they're my treasures, so I can laugh at myself further in life .
Though my parents seem to have a different opinion than mine since they're always throwing it away and I never get to see them again. It really saddens me .
Like in this very moment , I lost a whole folder and a pile of loose leaf drawing.
----------
Oh yea , I forgot to add, when I was younger I kept on giving them to my friends and all jajaja
