Vex could feel the Inn filling as she slept. It was a skill that had come naturally in her years of running and staying in random places. Knowing your surroundings, even in sleep, could be the difference between life and death. She rolled onto her back and slowly opened her eyes as she stretched slightly. How long she had been sleeping she didn't know, but it was still dark. Early morning maybe? Who really cared.

She sat up, her long wavy blonde hair falling around her face and over her shoulders as she reached up to rub her face. Swinging her legs over the side of her bed she threw the heavy comforter back and gave another slight stretch. It had been some time since she'd slept in such heavenly bed. Standing, Vex grabbed her bag and found her way to the bathroom where she put her hair back up and re-applied her make-up. She needed to look her best if she was going to con her way through anyone here. It was much easier approaching a job in such manner.

When she was finished she tossed the pack onto the bed and slipped her strappy heels on. She flattened out any wrinkles in her dress and exited the room, locking it behind her and tucking the key away into her bra. Her heels were nearly slient as she made her way down the hall and snekishly down the stairs, pausing at the bottom to see if the newcomers looked like anyone she needed to worry about.

At the bar stood Luce, holding a key, and at the door, a tall man with dark hair and combat boots. He didn't look as threatening as some of the people she'd run into after her head, she figured even if he was, escaping him would be a peice of cake. Behind him suddenly appeared a woman, who was incredibly tall, looking as if she was about to push the man out of the way. Vex shook her head as she went ahead and made her way towards the bar.

"Morning Luce," she said, taking a seat in front of him. "If you needed a bed to sleep in you could have just joined me," she said, poking at him with his own flirtaciousness. She leaned her side against the bar, draping her arm lazily over the edge as she turned to face the tall couple at the door. Waiting for the man to either come in willingly, or be thrown in by the amazon, she stared expectantly.

"Darling, don't be rude to the young man, I'm sure he's just a little shy." Luce had let the words leave his lips slowly, with a hint of amusement as he spoke to the tall woman behind the male that had entered. When Vex came in, Luce's smile turned to a grin and he let his eyes linger in places they probably shouldn't be for longer than they should have. "Oh, don't worry my lovely flower, I have a wonderful bed. Perhaps I could show it to you in the near future?" He fluttered his thick lashes at Vex for a moment before he let his attention turn back to the two at the door.

Luce swung the key around his finger twice and then stood from his position of leaning on the bar. "Just step around the boy, be gentle with him though, one should always be careful of the shy people, darling." He spoke the words softly to the female that looked ready to push the unmoving male aside, as he absently wrapped the emerald ribbon around his wrist, for safe keeping until the male at the door was ready to come and get it. Those blue eyes of his glinted with amusement as he watched the two newcomers. At least things weren't boring anymore.

Reorik quickly stepped to the side, allowing the massive woman behind him to step in, he pulled his hood lower over his head as the woman depicted on the bounty notice pranced seductively down the stairs towards the bar. His movements were quick and suprisingly quiet as he moved foreward to take the key. Thoughts raced through his head as his eyes showed determination, that of a hunter, watching almost her every movement. Luce's attempts at socialization seemed utterly ignored as the Goblin boy's hands quickly grabbed for the key. The once thing his twelve brothers had never had were precise fingers, he was known to disable land mines and other dangerous traps with a sort of ease.

Trying to keep his voice pleasent, he couldn't help but feel slightly entranced by this strange man; was it a magic of some sort? "Uhhh.... I think I will just use the bathroom..... I don't suppose you could spare some food as well for a traveler?", his eyes gazed back to Vex, then back to the massive woman behind him. He began to whisper to himself a very much barbaric poem as he moved for a table in the corner of the shop, "Though my flesh, Death's cold claws take, In the Brood mother's arms I'll wake, Though pain should take my every pore, with her I'll feel love once more...." . As he made a motion to sit in the chair facing Vex, his hand slipped discreetly into the pocket of his hoodie, unsheathing the combat knife. His body jerked foreward like a whip instead; in a quick motion he had tossed up the knife in the middle of the action; to flip it around, and snatch it by the tip. The knife would be sent flying in Vex's direction; although he could throw a knife, hatchets used by some of his kin could split a skull like paper. He wasn't aiming to kill her, just a wounding blow to the tendons in the arms would do.

Regardless if his blow would hit, Reorik would go on the defensive, grabbing both dull and sharp knives off the table; keeping the former on his person to use for short range defense, and the later as projectiles. Stashing away the new weapons, the young high-goblin placed his heel on the table and sent it skidding towards the huge woman, hoping to impede her movement should she charge.

Making the first move was risky, he was outnumbered and could not hope to go hand to hand with the giantess. Reorik's only thoughts were of retreat, and to track Vex should she attempt to leave. His concience was pulling on him like a weight, but he really couldn't afford to be exiled forever. He had friends, family, and even a possible love interest waiting for him in Ghihana. His voice strained, he couldn't hold back his remorse. His voice cracked as he spoke,"I-I'm sorry, I must do this...". He backed up towards a nearby window, quickly dragging the chair beside him with. He raised it as if to smash the window, hoping to break through the glass in one blow and jump out.
(Again, let me know if I cross too many lines, trying to improve my writing for rps)

((sorry mine and Luciens post may have gone up at the same time so i didnt see it when he posted))

Cytria sighed and shook her head. "Thanks" She drawled, "it was getting cold out there." Walking in behind the male she moved to sit at the bar only to be startled by the female descending the stairs in front of her. "Escort?" Cytria asked herself even though her icy blue eyes revealed none of her emotions or thoughts.

Drawing her sword she jumped lithely, her sudden agility belying her apparent height, up onto the table crouching so her head didn't hit the ceiling, though it gave strangely when she did, before her gaze rested on the young pup.

"strange he seems almost sorry for attacking us." Puzzlement staining her thoughts.

][Emiko I think you need to edit your post. >.>;][

Luce was a very attentive creature, and even the things that did slip past his notice, did not usually slip past the notice of the Inn itself. Luce had smiled beautifully when the man finally came over and deftly plucked the key from his grasp. Such an amusing fellow. "There is always plenty of food for hungry travelers." Luce had spoken the words in response to the male's request of food. The tall demon of sorts had been ready to turn towards the kitchen, but something made him hesitate. When the first attack had been made, the knife, skillfully thrown at Vex, Luce leaped over the bar, his movements, quick enough to tackle Vex to the ground and save her from the knife were not quick enough to take him under the knife safely. The weapon struck true, deeply into his left shoulder. "Oh my." He murmured the word softly as he stood and pulled Vex to her feet. The blood that oozed and seeped from the wound around the knife was a deep violet color, and his blood smelled of lilacs and honey. Luce truly was an odd creature.

Luce placed himself between Vex and her attacker, the high-goblin seemed distracted by the other patron though, attacking her before she could attack him. Even though the woman might not have gotten involved otherwise. That had been foolish in Luce's eyes. That was alright though, Luce would handle this. Or. At least, he would try. If he couldn't then he'd let his patrons fight it out to their hearts content, but first he had to put in at least a little bit of effort in settling this matter before many of his things, the inn's things got broken. The knife still in his shoulder Luce glanced behind him at Vex. "Darling, run to your room and lock the door. Rest assured no one can get in there without your key." He took a step towards the goblin, holding out his right hand in front of him to show he held no weapon. His left just hung there, it would hurt too much to lift it and Luce wasn't going to put himself through unnecessary pain.

"Calm down, no one here will harm you...maybe." He sent a questioning look to the woman that the goblin had sent a table to. He really couldn't speak for her, but maybe she'd try and let him handle this before getting too violent? "I really hope you don't break my window, it's a real pain getting them fixed, if you want to escape, just run out the door. Though, I do hope you will decide to sit down with me. We can have a meal and discuss the things that are troubling you. If you simply must fight, then I will stand aside, but only if that is the only way to resolve this matter." Luce's voice was soft, gentle. As if he were trying to be soothing and nonthreatening, which he was. His flirty nature was gone, for the moment at least.

Reorik's guilt increased seeing the knife wound a by-stander, there was no honor amongst his people in such an act. "If you continue to help her... I am duty bound to kill you", his voice grew lower, pain consuming the side his father had hit him. The drunk fool probably cracked one of Reorik's ribs in his rage.

Reality began to set in, even if the violet blooded man let him leave, his mission would most likely be impeded by the katan wielding woman. Defeat hung over his head as the pain in his side grew worse, the chair thumped on the floor as he was forced to drop it. Luce's tone was some how soothing, Reorik paused, entranced by this caretaker, something was definitly affecting his mind.

It wasn't something Luce was doing, It was as if he were speaking through a microphone into Reorik's brain, the young high-goblin swayed slightly, his body exhausted physically and emotionally. His eyes gazed to the samurai woman; so what if the mission was incomplete, he could stand going hungry another day or two; the idea his own clansmen would inflict torture upon him sent him into a deeper despair. Reorik wouldn't run, if death chose to take him, at least he wouldn't have to fight anymore.

(Taking a break for a bit, I got stuff to do)

Watching as the tall man approached Vex sized him up. He was tall, looked to be somewhat strong, didn't appear to have valuables that she could easily pick pocket. Well, maybe... he was reaching into his pocket for something. The next moment was a blur and before she knew it, her body was falling towards the floor of the Inn. She landed hard on her back, looking up at Luce as he quickly stood, pulling her to her feet.

She heard him speaking but she was busy evil eyeing the tall man now. Who the hell did he think he was? Not many people had ever tried to capture her by being so sneaky, and those who had never tried stabbing her. She felt bad for Luce, she brought trouble with her everywhere she went and now poor Luce was suffering because of it.

Moving to stand beside Luce she was frowning deeply at the man holding the chair. She was no push over. If it was a fight he wanted she would gladly kick his ass and be on her way, he didn't look very threatening. In reality, she wasn't a very good fighter at all, but when she was angry, she liked to think she could be. Disregarding anything Luce may have said in her anger, she took a step towards the guy at the window. "What the hell is wrong with you? Trying to stab a woman, don't you have any manners?"

The man dropped the chair, looking to be in some sort of pain. Yeah, she could definitely take him. When he began to sway she kept her distance. "Come on buddy I'm not that repulsive," she said with her regular sexy tone, "You aren't going to throw up on me are you?"

"Why is he looking at me so strangely?" Cytria thought to herself as she replayed the man taking the woman down with him to the floor despite getting injured as well. "And here I thought I had seen it all, but I'm pretty sure I've never seen that particular kind of blood before..."

"There is no honor attacking someone in secret but I will let you handle it" Speaking those words it only took moments for her to return the sword back to her scabbard though she continued to eye the young-ling; "fool her once..."

Since the bleeding male was not using the tone on her that he was using on the other she didn't feel its effect though she did sidle closer to the bleeding male. "If you want I can remove that for you." she stated it matter-of-fact her tone affecting that it didn't matter to her though she hated to see people remaining in pain. "I don't break windows... at least not often" She thought blushing minutely before shaking it off her expressionless mask of a face returning full force.

Reorik's eyes stared coldly at Vex, She was beutiful for a human, but lacked any moral compass for past actions, like many of his own species. Spitting on the ground before speaking to her, his voice grew hateful "I am nothing more than justice seeking to bring you to law!". His eyes wandered around the room nervously, wondering what other powers this cursed ground held. "My family.... will feast off your capture......", His legs shakily give out, dropping him to his knees.

From his new position, any could easily slay him; his pain subsided a small amount as he up at them. Was this enitre building fighting to protect the residents? Removing his left-hand glove, he revealed the trimmed and well kepy claw-like nails on his hand; he reached into his sweatshirt to feel the bruise, eyes widening as he felt an abnormal heat, as if something invisible were agitating the wound.

Reorik stared at Luce with a fearful expression, his voice rasping in pain, "I surrender..... no more pain, I beg you....". He nearly knocked himself unconcious as he bowed down on his knees towards Luce, his morale completely shattered under the power of the house. Now that he was resting his head, it seemed as if the entire building were cradeling him to sleep, the pain lessening as exhaustion took over. Soon he was snoring peacefully, incapacitated under the magic of the house.

Rida slept peacefully, tail swishing back and forth under the covers every now and then. After a few moments, his brow furrowed and he whimpered, squeezing the pillow he was snuggled against. Whining again, his body trembling and his legs twitching as if he were running from something. Rolling over, he was still plagued by whatever it was as more whimpers spilled past his lips. He moved again, a keening whine issuing from his lips as he laid on his back, spread eagle.

The neko gasped, sitting up quickly before bolting out of his room. Stumbling down the hallway, not noticing the tear tracks on his cheeks, he was running to find someone. He made it back to the main room, hazy wide blown eyes seemed to find the person and he ran towards him, stumbling and hitting his knees just as he wrapped his arms tightly around Luce's waist and pressed his cheek against the others lower back, silently crying except for the occasional hiccuping.

][Lol I think you did defeat yourself. Heh it was nicely done though.][

"Vex!" Luce's tone was firm, gentle and only slightly commanding, amplified in her head by the Inn, the way his soothing words had been amplified in the high-goblin's mind. How could he protect her when she put herself arm's length away from the danger she was obviously in? Humans. Sometimes they could be incredibly stupid. "I asked you to return to your room for your safety." His voice lost that hint of command as he spoke, Vex wanted to fight for herself and he could understand that, but all who entered were his responsibility. Luce glanced over at the tall woman, smiling politely at her.

"It's only a bit of discomfort, perhaps later we can play doctor. Alone. For now, I'll be alright, my darling." Luce couldn't help it, he couldn't keep his flirty nature away for too long, even in situations like this. But he really wasn't ready to remove the knife yet, right now the knife prevented too much blood from leaking out of the wound and without first aid supplies Luce would have nothing to staunch the flow. His nose twitched at the scent of his own blood. He'd be alright, as long as no vampires or blood thirsty demons were about. His blood was intoxicating to such creatures as those, even to mortals a taste of it could make them addicted. Luce didn't even know why. Those blue eyes blinked and he shook his head.

His attention quickly returning to the goblin. The Inn was working fast, it was annoyed that Luce had been injured, but the Inn was not a hostile thing, so when the goblin surrendered, the Inn took his surrender. Luce was about to step forward, towards the now sleeping goblin, when Rida crashed into him from no where. It completely surprised Luce and for a moment, all he did was stand there. Then slowly, in Rida's embrace, he turned. "What's the matter, handsome?" Concern was clear in his voice, reaching down with his right hand to gently pet Rida on the head reassuringly. "Whatever it is, my love, I will keep you safe from it." Luce looked over his shoulder to the goblin. He needed to put the male safely in a room. The room with the emerald door knob.

Almost as soon as Luce thought that, magic swirled around the high-goblin and he vanished. Well, more like teleported. To the bedroom with the emerald colored knob. He glanced at the two women. "The goblin will sleep for awhile, he is safe in a bed room, but I can not guarantee how long he will sleep." More importantly though, Rida needed him. Luce's attention returned to the neko and he lowered himself gently to the floor, with his right arm he pulled Rida into his lap, and hugged him tightly. Gently with one arm. Soon though, he would need to tend to his wound. Right now, it could wait. His guests were more important than himself. "Everything will be just fine." He whispered soothingly to the neko.

Hearing Luce's words in her head, Vexaline frowned again. What was he doing in there? Could he read her mind? Well he'd better not... and besides, Vexaline didn't need any man coming to her rescue or protecting her, she was a strong and fierce woman, so she told herself. Turning her attention back to the goblin her eyes widened slightly at his words. His family would feast? So he was trying to claim her bounty for the good of his family. Vex scoffed. Noble.

"Being noble only gets you... well, look at yourself," she said coldly. When he fell to his knees she only crossed her arms over her chest, "Don't fight it handsome, I have that effect on men," she said with a grin. But her grin soon faded into a look of confusion, before her eyebrow raised at the snoring man as if to say, seriously? Sighing she turned to walk away as the man dissapeared into the air, surely Luce's magic. Or the Inn's magic, she didn't know who's it was and she didn't really care.

She was facing Luce, Rida and the amazon now as she looked down at the neko wrapped around Luce's waist, tears streaming down his face. I just got attacked and Luce has been stabbed... what's this kid's problem? she wondered. She headed towards the bar to pour herself a drink as Luce knelt to comfort Rida, pausing only briefly to thank Luce, not two words she was very familiar with. She should probably offer to help him, but his blood was making her crave a sweet drink and chances were if she stuck around, she'd find herself nibbling on him. Not that she thought he would mind.

Behind the bar Vexaline poured a glass of orange juice, grenadine and a little, a lot of tequila, dropping ice cubes into the mixture sparingly, as to not take up too much of her liquor room. Chances were, the goblin would be awake after a bit of rest and after her head again. But he didn't honestly seem like any threat to her so she shrugged it off as she leaned lazily forward onto the bar sipping at her drink.

"Care to make that a double?" Cytria asked vex as she pulled out a stool from the bar. She wasn't going to go into the craving his blood thing, "like seriously? what's that about?" so instead opted for a drink instead, and what vex had poured herself looked like just the ticket.

"'Play doctor' nothing" she growled as she replayed the mans words within her head. "great just what i need... another guy making passes at me." she thought to herself biting her lip slightly in agravation. "relax your scaring people" Cytria sighed before taking a few meditative breaths calming herself down. "sorry about that" Cytria isn't sure whos she's appologizing to "I still have problems with my anger sometimes despite my years"

Reoric sleep became elapsed with a strange nightmare. Pictures from an old childrens book moved with the events of the human uprising. Cartoonish characters slew one another; his own father was depicted in the book, marching forth from the mountains with an entire horde of his people, along with countless other goblinoids. Vicious and cunning trolls charged in the frontlines of the army, bellowing in rage as countless bullets lodged in their flesh, only to be pushed out harmlessly by the creatures' amazing healing abilities. Orcs, ogres and lesser goblins charged in behind, some equiped with crude firearms and melee weapons; the sheer size of the goblinoid army shook the very ground they tread upon. His own people were more supportive in magics, healing, and the utilization of siege beasts in the flank.

As the Cartoonish horde amassed in front of the human capital city, strange technoligies were sent out against them. Men armed with flamethrowers held the opposing line, incinerating the less armored, and burning the trolls to ashes before they could regenerate and get back on their feet. Once the trolls were routed, the smaller greenskins were easy pickings for the human gunmen. His own race was forced to retreat as their allies were wiped out by the firing line; the warbeasts were no match either, even those that could easily take a ballista round were blown to pieces by the humans' new found power.

The humans continued to advance, slaying any they came across without mercy. The story progressed to a tone of despair and sorrow, each leader of the major goblinoid races were depicted in story book form, many of the races blamed the high-goblins for being to cowardly to charge the front line, blame was thrown everywhere that day. Reorik's father wound up slaying the orc chieften in an argument; each race eventually could not come to an agreement, each heading a different direction to go into seclusion. The high-goblins were decreed as scourge to the other greenskins, and would be treated as such till the end of existence.

Reorik found himself drawn to the feelings of his people in the next scene from the book, they gathered where they live now, wailing in despair at the loss of their kin and honor. Tears fell freely seeing images of youngings mourning their fathers'and mothers' deaths at the hands of the human onslaught. None knew how the war had truly started, only racial prejudice as a clue. He bolted up from his sleep, clutching his face as he found himself weeping in despair.

Reorik couldn't remember why, only the sense of despair remained vivid in his mind. His wandering gaze drifted around the room, wondeirng if he had been shown mercy. His eyes met a nearby glamour mirror. He could feel the hunger gnawing at his stomach, but the mournfull mood he was in seemed to dull it. The young goblin slid off the soft bed, stumbling towards the bathroom; the whole time stripping himself down. Old wounds inflicted by his father, and the fresh ones; inflicted by the old bastard and himself.

He was indeed slender compared to his kin, having only a slight tone to his muscle; he couldn't be a soldier or a true assassin. He stood naked in front of the bathroom mirror, staring himself in the eyes; what could he do? Finally he slipped into the tub, blinking as his tow favorite sents seemed to appear on the ledge beside him. After cleansing himself, He gasped with awe as another product appeared beside him, a special oil used in the braiding of hair. After draining the tub he began to twist his hair into braids quickly, sitting on the toilet naked till he finished.

After getting dressed again; he left the hoodie and bandana on the bed. Cautiously towards the entrance to the room, trying the knob; and finding it locked of course. Reorik's eyes widened, realizing the key had been dropped in the lounge and bar room; when he had pulled off the fancy knife trick. Letting out a sigh, he went to sit cross legged on the bed, staring at the glamour in contempt of himself, fate had a funny way of punishing people. His facial features were slim, delicate, yet holding an air of strength all it's own. silently his thoughts drifted to an idea of the dream that had caused him to cry, tears were usually treated as weakness, even for children of his species; the last time the goblin had cried, was right before his father whipped him as a child, till he could cry no longer. The evidence was visible on his back; tiny lash marks all over the upper back. He had been 6 years old at the time, being 18 now.

(Took me a couple hours to write this up, let me know if i cross lines with the writing)

"Um Lucy? Are we lost?" asked Kyo putting his hands in his pockets sighing for the hundredth time.
Once again Lucy shook her head and smiled at her companion, "Nope! We're almost there! I can feel the only magic inn in the whole wide world is near."
Kyo looked at her wearily, "You said that five days ago."
Lucy rolled her eyes and ignored him. This would be her first vacation in five hundred years! Since she's an angel she had to help people find their way towards God, along with Kyo's help of course. The High Angels would allow each angel who had served the Lord for five hundred years would be given a year long vacation on Earth to do whatever they wanted. Meaning they could break a couple rules without the High Angels caring. The two partners' vacation had started a week ago and they had no clue on where to go. So Lucy decided to settle in at an inn that runs only on magic. And since Lucy has very bad sense in direction, this is the situation they're currently at.
Soon Kyo finally gave up and stopped to turn to look at Lucy, "Lucy why don't we just go to an inn nearby and settle in until we know where to go?"
The young girl pouted, "But I want to go to that magic inn!"
"Maybe it's this inn right over there?" Kyo pointed to an inn where it looked oh so cozy and warm in there, Lucy decided to go with his plan. The two walked towards the inn suddenly realizing that they hadn't eaten since two days ago, which made Kyo's plan sound like it was their number one priority. When they came in they saw a man wearing girl clothes hugging a neko and two other women drinking. It was quite an unusual sight for Lucy but not for Kyo, instead of just standing there in awe he decided to stand in front of his companion and protect her. Why? Because angels are very rare down on Earth and only magical beings can see the wings on an angel's back. An angel feather can grant immortality to anybody but it would result the angel dying.
"Is there anything to eat around here?" asked Kyo realizing his question sounded rude.

Luce glanced up, something twinkling a small distance away on the floor had caught his gaze. The room key he had given to the goblin, Luce couldn't decide if it should be given back to the goblin so soon, but then. He would let the Inn decide. Luce ran his right hand gently through Rida's hair and over his ears lightly, murmering soothing words to the neko. The dropped key twinkled once and vanished from sight, Luce had nodded, for now, the goblin would stay in his room. Once Luce had Rida calmed down, he decided he would bring food up to the high-goblin and perhaps give him the key then.

Luce smiled kindly down at Rida, kissing the top of his head gently as two strangers entered the Inn. When Luce's crimson gaze landed on them, he gasped softly and for a moment averted his eyes. Angels. Their aura burned bright and their wings were glorious, to glorious for a few moments for him to even look at. Slowly Luce lifted his gaze to the two beings. "Truly, I am humbled and honored by such guests. There is food. There is always food here for hungry travelers and rooms for the weary ones." Luce's tone was not sarcastic, it was truly a humble tone. What right did the demon have to be in the presance of angels? Yet, here they were, in his Inn. "Forgive me, esteemed guests, I am busy and cannot give you the service you so deserve, the kitchen is through there..." He nodded to the doorway behind the bar. "Go there and wait a few moments and your food will be prepared for you." Magic indeed.

The Inn itself seemed to hum for a few moments. Pleased at the presance of the angels. Surely he must look like such a sorry sight, sitting there, violet colored blood slowly oozing down his left shoulder as he held the upset neko close with one arm. The knife was still lodged uncomfortably in his shoulder. The scent of his blood, lilac and honey, filling the air. His strange blood, he was sure it wouldn't affect angels. Angels were not blood thirsty creatures, they were too pure to be corrupted by the likes of him. Though he wasn't trying to corrupt anyone.

Rida cried, not hearing the words at first as he had hid away mentally, but slowly he seemed to come back to himself. Navy eyes blinked into clarity, looking up in confusion as he realized he was not in his room then blushing brightly as he saw he was curled up in the males lap. Then a switch flipped once more, and whatever he had dreamed about plagued him again. Burrowing his face into the others chest, he whimpered, arms moving higher and holding tighter. The hiccups bubbled again, interrupting as he mumbled words against the other, softly repeating a mantra of 'don't let them hurt me' or not to let him go.

The petting certainly did a lot to help him calm down, but he still trembled like a leaf. Sniffling, he pulled away and swiped at the liquid pouring from under one eye, looking at the male, apologizing softly. Looking at his hands he frowned when he noticed something purple on his fingers, and bringing it to his face, he found it smelled good. Rida tilted his head, one ear twitching as he studied the sticky substance before bringing the fore finger close and , quite possibly stupidly, licked the it off.

Vex was in her own world again as the woman spoke to her. "Hm? Yeah no problem." Vexaline was concocting again as she watched the female who seemed really bothered by something. Raising an eyebrow at the growl, Vex was sure to add an extra shot to the womans drink. What? It seemed like she needed some help relaxing.

Setting the drink down in front of the woman Vex paused, a great idea flashed into her head. She knew the Inn was an open bar, free drinks... but Luce hadn't had the chance to tell that to the newcomers. For all this woman knew, she was the bartender and everything came with a price. Smiling sweetly to the woman Vex put her hand out, "That will be five dollars, or ten shillings, or nine dubloons..." she leaned a little closer into the woman's personal space, "Or whatever you have in those fancy pockets of yours." Well that had seemed grabby. Vex stood straight, smiling again as she composed herself, clearing her throat.

When the door to the Inn opened to reveal two more guests, Vex did her usual assessment. Age, gender, class... anything worth stealing on their person or possibly at their home? Well it was possible, the girl looked like she might have been born with a golden nugget in her mouth, or whatever the saying was. She looked clean and proper, and innocent. Perfect. Another smile formed out of Vex's velvety, deep red satin stained lips.

Reorik sat for almost an hour in silence, ignoring the growling continually coming from his gut. The small wounds on his arms were scabbing nicely; to his observation. Still needing to clean them, His eyes met the nightstand next to him, noticing a small fridge. He scooted over, laying down on his stomach to open and look inside. To his amazement, finding a small bottle containing; what he found upon opening the unmarked substance, to be moonshine. He ignored the rest of the drinks. Reorik sighed in disdain as he walked once more to the bathroom, remembering how effective and painfull the drink could be as a disinfectant.

The bathroom light would soon turn back on, Reorik stood in front of the sink and plugged up the drain; with an ornate stopper, before letting hot water start to fill it up near the top. Reorik took a deep breath as he lathered his hands with soap, grimacing as the scabs disolved, causing droplets of blood, water, and soap to fall into the sink. The next part would be far worse, Reorik took off the alcohol bottle's cap, pouring it graciously over each arms quickly, and gritting his teeth as the stinging pain washed over the wounds. Waiting for nearly a minute, he would dunk his arms into the now-warm water, cleansing the wounds of moonshine. The handsome goblin's eyes met the bathroom mirror, noticing a package of bandaids that had definatly not been on the shelf behind him before. This house was determined to make him feel all the worse, thinking to himself as he turned to grab and apply them.

Now all that was left was to solve his hunger issue, and the only thing currently on hand were strange mushrooms; often picked by his people, wrapped in plastic within his hoodie. They weren't normally for curing hunger problems, since consuming them caused hallucinations, and the taste was quite horrible. With what moonshine he had left. Reorik popped a few caps into his mouth, quickly slamming the moonshine to wash them down. His reaction was almost priceless; as he gagged in disdain, his head shook rapidly as he grimaced, a disgusted look clearly on his face. At least hunger was subsiding, and as long as he didn't have a bad trip, Reorik could mellow out and enjoy his intoxicants.

Reorik flopped backwards onto the bed, spreading out and staring at the cealing, his breathing became deeper, and every sensation became increased by the alcohol and shrooms. A blush spread over his face as other high-goblins drifted in front of his face, doing lewd things to eachother. His own hands subconciously began to roam over his own body, he began to giggle to himself, wrapping blankets around his entire being as the images continued to dance in front of him.

Lucy stepped back a little, she was not used to the treatment this man was giving them. Usually other creatures despised angels and would try to murder them while the angels were sleeping. Lucy hoped that was not the case in this situation.
"Ah um....please, no need for formal greetings. Kyo and I aren't used to that sort of thing." Lucy said as she moved her companion's arm out of the way.
She reached towards the neko sobbing and pet his hair like an owner would do for her cat, she smiled at him and told him to stop crying and look at what she's about to do. Lucy pulled the knife out of the man's shoulder and put her right hand above the wound and said a little prayer that healed it.
Lucy smiled, "Hehe... All better now! Now.... Where's the food?!"
Sometimes Kyo would feel extremely proud at what his partner did that was very good, but right after the good part was over she would act like her idiot self. Kyo sighed and told her to go to the kitchen and wait for him.
"Er... Sorry about that. Sometimes she can be a little....... Weird but she has a good heart." Kyo said to the man, then he followed Lucy in the kitchen. While he did that he thought of the woman who was staring at Lucy while she did her angel duties. What did that woman want? Why was she doing that? Who is she? But Kyo would have to find out later since his stomach had won against his curiosity and worry. Soon he saw Lucy gulfing down all the food that was made in the kitchen barely leaving any for Kyo.

Luce blinked, glancing at the angels when one of them spoke. His attention gone from Rida for just a moment. Or else he would have stopped the neko from licking the blood from those fingers. The female came towards them, reaching out to pet Rida, who Luce held just a little bit tighter with his right arm. A knot forming in his stomache. Honestly, being a demon it was just a tad uncomfortable to be so close to an angel or two, still, Luce wouldn't let it show. When the female reached to pull the knife from his left shoulder, Luce reacted too slowly. Perhaps it was the pain that dulled his reaction time, or perhaps it was just the closeness of the angel. The holy aura that surrounded her?

Luce grunted when the knife was pulled free, his right arm unwinding from around Rida. That hand reaching up in a gesture to stop the angel. Angel magic could only harm a demon and Luce was a demon through and through. His right hand closed around the angel's wrist for a only a second before pain nearly blinded him. His shoulder exploded with white hot pain that raced through his entire body. As if a fire had been laid across his flesh. The scent of burnt flesh quickly over powered the alluring scent of his blood, but now he was in more pain. His vision cleared quickly, the pain dulling down to a throbbing, burning ache. At least it was localized now and not racing through his body.

A grunt, a low groan escaped him, it took effort not to yell. A lot of effort. It was for Rida's sake that he didn't scream out. Something had already frighten the neko and he was determined to not add to that fear. His hand slipped from the angel's wrist as a nearly inaudible whimper left his lips. Blue eyes that glowed brightly were now dulled over with the pain. Luce's body trembled, he panted just slightly and wrapped his arm around Rida again. Hugging tightly to the cat boy and burying his face against Rida's neck.

The entire Inn pulsed and vibrated for a moment. Agitated and uncertain of what it should do, so the building remained uninvolved. It understood the pain Luce went through had not been intentional.

The little neko was distracted from the taste, though he swore it was as sweet as honey and he wouldn't mind more, as one of the new strangers, an angel, came over and pet him. Flinching away from the touch, he warily watched as she pulled the knife, when had that happened?, from Luce's shoulder then chanted a quick prayer.

Navy eyes widened, the shock stopping him from moving, though if he wondered if he'd been different, would he have attacked the girl in defense? Stopping those thoughts he turned his attention back to the male, his nose scrunching at the acrid smell of burnt flesh. When Luce whimpered and buried his face against the neko's neck, Rida carefully held the other in return, one hand moving rub the other back calmingly, carefully avoiding the injured are. His own fears had been pushed away, and he found himself softly purring.

Reorik's insane drug trip continued, an hour had gone by and he found himself digging in the mini-fridge, for more small bottles of booze. He was quite unused to partying by himsel, but that hardly stopped him from grabbing miniature bottles of Greygoose vodka and downing them; he had rolled himself up a few doobies from the contents of his hoodie as well, creating a funky smell throughout the upstairs rooms as he sang and drank. A jolly laughter could be heard well from inside his room. Reorik eventually stripped down to his boxers, uncaring of anything at the moment. Brainds and head swinging as he danced, the young goblin had knocked over the dresser, mini-fridge and nightstand, and was still tripping off his ass from the fungus treat.

Reorik's uncontrolled and destructive movements led to him dropping his joint, igniting a small fire upon the bed he jumped on. Luckily, the inn reacted to the flames by creating a small rain cloud within his room, drenching him and everything else inside. The drug fueled goblin could care less.

As Kyo watched Lucy healed the man, he was surprised to see him whimper in pain. Usually when an angel is chanting a prayer they don't notice anything around them all they could focus on is saying the prayer, plus they cannot see blood they can only see wounds and that's it. Is that man a vampire? thought Kyo, but then he thought of the hints that the man could be a demon: the inn smelled like honey and lilac, the man's eyes are abnormally red, and the man greeted them in a way that he knew what they were, and the man is wincing in pain. How did he not notice this? Of course Lucy wouldn't notice anything because she's too pure to think that anybody could be cured by an angel no matter what they are. Kyo mentally punched himself and went to stop his companion. He walked up to her and raised his hand and smacked the poor angel on the head.
Lucy blinked and rubbed her head as she stuck her tongue out at Kyo, "Owwww!!! Why'd you do that for?!"
Kyo pointed at the vampire, "Look at him. He's in pain because he's a demon." he lowered his arm, "And not just any demon... a vampire."
Lucy has heard of vampires before, they were of course naturally demons but they had lilac and honey scented blood that anyone could get addicted to, sometimes even angels.
"Oh I see.... I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST MET A VAMPIRE!! AFTER 200 YEARS SINCE I HAD HEARD OF THEM, I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST MET A VAMPIRE!!!" squealed Lucy. Kyo sighed, I think she's been diagnosed with vampire fangirlism...

Luce's head jerked up quickly when he heard the word 'vampire'. For a moment, his eyes were frantic and he glanced around quickly. He hadn't smelled any vampires, he didn't see any either. Rida was purring at him though and for a few moments that caught his complete attention. He hugged the neko close, and then slowly stood. Pulling the cat boy up with him. Then it dawned on him, they were calling him a vampire. Luce blinked and stared at the angels for a few moments.

"I am most assuredly NOT a vampire." Luce didn't sound angry, just a tiny bit annoyed. What angel couldn't immediatly recognize a demon? His brow furrowed for a moment, they did seem rather young. So perhaps they were just inexperianced. Very inexperianced. It didn't matter, Luce shook his head. "Please excuse me. There are several things I need to take care of at the moment." Luce nodded politely to the angels and took Rida's hand in his right and began to lead the cat boy away. Back towards the neko's bedroom. That was as good a place as any to tend to his own wound and still keep the cat boy close.

Any damage that was done, or would be done, or could be done to the high-goblin's room during the young man's drug trip would easily and quickly be undone. Though, the Inn of course would wait until the goblin was crashing. Except for the fire that had started. Anything that could potentially be a disaster or cause harm to the inn itself and the others within it would immediatly be dealt with. Such as the rain cloud putting out the fire and soaking most things in the room. Of course the inn would dry everything back out again.
