Hosting can be hectic the first time you do it, but after a while you get use to it.

Really it depends on what kind of thread you are hosting. If it's a game it can be hectic if it's just a contest thread then not so much.

hmmm well what would you suggest for a first timer?

I would suggest something easy like the art or writing contest. Or maybe a simple game, like one where you have a per-made game board, kind of like the stab the box game Lilith ran at the casino event.

What are you interests, do you like to read? Watch movies? Currently I am near the end of reading the picture of dorian gray and I must say it is one of the best books I have ever read.

I like to read, watch movies, draw, sometimes write and gaming. Right now I'm not really reading anything. I started the Immortals series, but really haven't had much interest in reading as of late.

blueblackrose: That's fine I don't mind waiting for replies usually there's a wait anyway because the people I talk to max out on there posts. I'm a real chat addict I like to properly get to know people through discussion and such.

It really sucks when you fall out of love with reading, I did that a few months ago, now however I have a free summer and am completely hooked, I got a pile of books out from the library and am getting through them one by one. I decided to get a range of fiction and non-fiction too for a change to see what else I can find to captivate my interests.

You like to draw? Me too! In september I will be going to a new college for a year longs course in foundation art, it's going to be intense and no doubt quite stressful but it is going to be loads of fun. What do you like to draw. I have a big interest with skeletons and skulls I don't know why but I find them quite interesting and thought provoking subjects.

Eastriel: I use to be really chatty on here with my friends, but back in 2009 when I disappeared for almost a year I got out of touch with people. I'm still having a hard time finding new people to talk to and really get back into chatting with people.

That it does. I usually have spells when all I want to do is read instead of watching movies and playing video games. That was a good idea. I need to do that sometime since all I've really read lately is romance, vampire and fantasy. I might start doing some research again. I find that it's fun to research things that interest you.

Yup, I do both traditional and digital drawing. I went to a college for 2 1/2 years majoring in graphic design than the other year I tried going back to school at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online, majoring in game art and design. It was a lot of fun and I still regret having to drop out again. Maybe I'll give it another try now that things are settling down in my life. I like drawing characters, weapons, animals and flowers. I have to agree about skulls, they make for an interesting subject to draw.

I do a lot of photography as well.

blueblackrose: Yeah i used to be really chatty on here when I joined in 09 too and like you I had a some times absence though mine was around 6 months instead, since then I've really struggle to get back in to the swing of things so I have thrown all my effort in to chatting now and I am starting to love the site again, my gold count is flying up too xD I hope to make it to 4k by the end of the day, what I'm saving for though I don't know, I just think i'm getting a kick at watching the number rise so fast. xD Simple things for simple minds hey?

Yeah I've started to find the joy in researching things, it's really helping my burning curiosity that I often have but seldom know how to channel, at the moment I am directing it to a lot of history programmes and religious conspiracy theories which are very interesting and provide food for though when it comes to lifes philosophical debates. Might I suggest the picture fo Dorian Gray to kick-start your reading again, it really is a wonderful book that can be interpreted in so many different away and really makes you reflect on yourself and the way in which you live. I see it not only as a novel but also as a timeless reflection on the attitudes of society and the soul which I think is a pretty magical thing.

Oh wow I must admit when it comes to drawing on a computer i'm pretty aweful. I used to have a tablet and that was pretty fun to much around on but I never produced anything amazing, I much prefer to have the control of my hand when it comes to my art. :) You had to drop out? May I ask why or is it a sensitive issue? Also may I see some of your work?
