Yes, belly is. It's probably the most obnoxious timing ever to try to do this over Christmas break, but we're moving 1200 miles away. Movers come on Thursday to pick up our stuff & then I have to drive my kitty and my family down there the following morning.. So little time, eek!

I bet you'll be glad once you're finally settled down in your new home.

mew was staying at an apartment for a few days to get away from hectic life thats why she packed, packing is fun!

That stinks. My parents and I just moved between Thanksgiving and Christmas ourselves. Our move was only 30mins away and we moved everything over the course of two weeks since we didn't have the money to pay for movers or a truck. We still haven't finished unpacking, lol.

If I lived close by I'd help you out Belly.

ugh,moving over the holidays is the worst.
tips:put your meds,keys,chargers,remotes,cell,tablet/laptop
anything sentimental like photo's and all important papers.
in a backpack and put it in the bathroom or trunk of your car.
anything you NEED keep in the bathroom and keep the movers out.
huge eye level sign is a good extra or lock that door.
a roll of tp is pretty helpful,too.
nothing worse than having to tear through boxes to find a charger or something you need.

I hear you there hummy. I need to get around to finish unpacking because I'm not sure that the cables of our desktop computer came to our apartment or if they went to the storage unit. >.<;
Thankfully we have laptops too.

Toby and his wires always stay with me :D (Toby is my Toshiba Laptop BTW)

yep you learn to leave all the cables connected and ducttape them to it.
also if you see something you love being packed write it in huge letter in TEAL marker
if you do that you find things easier with way less mess.
i'm happy your move is over.

I'd hate to move again in the middle of February, but if my parents don't sign on a renewal for the house we rent, it's looking like we'll have to move again. Though, the downside of staying in our current rental is that our rent is going up.

I'm so glad that the move is over. There near the end I was having dreams about packing stuff and moving it. >.<;
