Taken yesterday, before my day went to crap - so I was in a half decent mood, and decided to brave the outside world... with my hair down, in the wind. LOL! :P I was in front of my building, so the wind wasn't too bad where I was at the time of taking this pic.
And I never wear makeup.
Awww, thank you both of you!
I also feel like why do women see the need to HIDE who they really are behind layers of makeup that hide their true beauty? :/ Society seems to force that it's something that needs to happen? At least that's how I see it. Mmm no thanks! I'd much rather not have my skin decide to hate me by putting things on it. xD lol!
I still laugh about the fact I had two different people my first year down here come up to me and ask me where I get my hair done, and then not believe me when I told them it's natural (which it is). I swear - I've never dyed my hair in my life. XP
I'm guilty of wearing make up a lot.. Until I actually got into a relationship 8months ago. He preferred me without make up. All my no make ups where his fave and I guess it made me appreciate my natural face more. I still don't go out much without it. But I have confidence issues.

My make up is like my mask.. If I'm outdoors without it I feel so anxious. Look at the floor and avoid eye contact and people. So I understand why some people feel the need for make up. Be grateful that you know you are you without it
See, I feel like the fact that women feel like they need a mask in order to go outside and face the world... is all society's fault. We don't need a mask to hide behind. [Just my personal opinion.] You are GORGEOUS!! (I do totally understand confidence issues - I have MASSIVE confidence issues as well.)
I am the way that I am as I spent YEARS around a barn and makeup gets ruined fast, plus I'm overly sensitive to pretty much any and all makeup.... So no thanks. It makes me itch, not fully break out, but itch. :/ Not fun.
yea it is society I totally agree with that . I think I'm more OK about being seen with no make up online because well iam who iam. Wish I could adapt that to real life too!
And it makes me sad that society basically makes girls feel like they can't go out without wearing make up... I actually saw this thing about how to confidently find someone who wants to date you... was to "wear make up". So apparently not something that girls can do anymore to find someone who accepts you for you without make up? :/
It makes me sad too... :/ What is this society coming to - where girls think they NEED to wear make up in order to be accepted by society, and if they don't... *sigh* Yeah, it is a sore spot for me.

anywhos... take this selfie, taken on horse back from 2010! :P
She snuck in - it was originally just me and she ran over when she saw the camera out, screaming "MAMA MAMA me tooooo!" She still doesn't quite understand 'inside voice'. And that is who I live with, a little girl who's a complete ham.
It's one of the skills that one picks up after years of riding. Not sure I could manage it now - I've not ridden in like 5 years. :( I rode all the time from the age of 11 to 21. But I've not ridden since. :( It needs to become a thing again!
