Jade Harley


Jade was laying sitting in her bed, not a care in her mind. She was one her lunchtop, going through the sites she usually visited, her Pesterchum pulled up in case anyone wanted to talk to her. There was no school today, and she was glad for it.

(Still totally going to steal some things from the comice[duh])

Dave Strider


Dave sat on his bed, sipping on apple juice while trying not to think of piss. He sighed in the hopes of being pestered. After all, he was way to cool to start the conversation. He yawned and looked at the clock. It would just be halfway through 1st period if they'd had school today.

Jade eyed her friend Dave's Pesterchum name a few times. He was online, but she always made it a game when he got online. She checked the time on her projected screen. She wanted to see if he, or she, would break first. And, without fail, it was her.

gardenGnostic [GG] began pestering turntechGodhead [TG]

GG: hi dave!!! :D

While she waited for his reply, she looked to her squiddle dolls when two of them, a red and a green one, pulled to each other and became tanglebuddies by the superpowerful magnets inside.

He grinned and immediately stopped all he was doing to answer...not because he was excited. It was because he was bored and needed something to do. Yeah...that was it...he convinced himself.

[TG]: sup
im being super fly right now

Jade giggled as she saw she got a reply from Dave.

"Put the bunny back in the box!!" John yelled from his room, causing jade to laugh even more.

[GG]: john is watch con air again!! i think im going to die if he yells put the bunny back in the box one more time xD

Jade simply shook her head at her brother's happiness over his movie and picked up the squiddles to observe them.

[GG]: and two of my squiddles became tanglebuddies!

Dave snrked.

[TC]: your brother is a lunitic
also your squid toys scare me
not cool at all
you should get some puppets or something less tentaclely

Jade pouted slightly.

[GG]: theyre cute!! its like the two that connect were the only ones made for each other
[GG]: and at least i don't have puppet butt everywhere! :P

She was really only teasing with him. She really didn't mind Dave's ironic puppets.

[GG]: so what does your no school day include

Dave frowned, a little pout forming in his lips, though he'd have denied it if questioned. Cool guys didn't pout.

[TG]: you are just jealous because my puppets are cooler than your creepy toys

He leaned back a little, yawning lazily.

[TG]: nothing really just cool stuff

[GG] cooooool stuff like whaaat :)

Jade laughed softly and called her dog to her. For some reason, Bec didn't like John or their dad as much as he liked Jade. "Hiya Bec!!" She pet the white dog as it curled up beside her.

He rolled his eyes.

[TG]: dont question me I cant explain my cool stuff to you
[TG]: i will most likely throw down some sick beats though.

[GG] well that sounds like fun!!! :D
[GG] ill probably just do nothing all day!!!

Jade looked at Becquerel. "Beeeec, I'm booored!" She said to the dog at random. He just stared at her before pouncing off the bed and going to the pile of squiddles and other stuffed animals. "Hmm...." Jade got up with he lunchtop and sat in the pile. "Better."

Dave pursed his lips, thinking.

[TG]: im going to the movies later
[TG]: you could come if you wanted to

A smile crossed the black-haired girl's face before she replied.

[GG]: id like that!!!! :D

Dave found himself smiling.

[TG]: alright cool when you coming over

She pondered for a moment

[GG]: well what time is the movie

She pondered if she should go in normal clothes or not.

Dave rolled his eyes as he realized he'd have to just state what he wanted instead of beating around the bush.

[TG]: why dont you just come over now
[TG]: that way we could hang out before it starts

[GG]: oh!! okay! thatll be fun! guess ill see you in a little bit!!!! :D

Jade closed her lunch-top and got out of the pile to change out of her pjs. "Hummm" She pulled on her shirt with the blue atom on it and her long skirt. She looked in her mirror. "What do you think Bec?" She looked to her dog, who smiled at her. "Good!" She grabbed her brush and pulled it through her hair. She got her drawstring bag and walked out of her room. "John!! I'm going to Dave's!" She called to him before walking out the door. "Bye!!" She left the house and made her way to Dave's house.

Dave got up from his computer and changed, wanting to look clean and well groomed. He looked at his awfully dirty room with a sigh. He'd just have to hope it didn't bother his friend.

Jade hummed as she walked, and when she finally got there, knocked on the door, partially hoping that Dave wouldn't be the one to answer the door.

Dirk yawned and got the door, looking at her indifferently. "Hello...?"

"Hi Dirk! Um, Dave invited me over...." She said, smiling up at the oldest Strider. "We're going to the movies after hanging out for a little bit!"

Dirk let her in with a very cool stare. "Mkay." Dave was still laying on his bed. "Bro's in his room."

She nodded and walked carefully down the hallway, avoiding the puppets and other things. She got to his door and knocked. "Dave..?"

He flung himself off his bed, but took his time to the door so he'd seem cool. He opened it and leaned against the door frame, looking at her. "Hey."

Jade smiled at the sight of her friend. "Hey!!" She was trying not to seem too happy, but failed.
