This rp is between me and dessertdesiert

Today was going to be extra stressful but that was something Hinata was used to. Of course now it going to be even more stressful. She had been on missions before but this had to be the first time she was going to be teamed up with her crush. Hinata was still the shy type like she was when she was younger no matter how many times she comes around Naruto. There was just that part of her that gets her shy. But it would have to past if this mission was going to be successful. Hinata waits at the gates of the village enterance waiting for Naruto to show up. As this mission was going to be very dangerous since they was making their trip to the sand village.

Naruto wakes up and his stomach grumbles loud. He pours water onto a cup of instant noodles and to make his breakfast. Next thing he looks out the window and realizes what time it is, He is suppose to be meeting Hinata outside the gates for a new mission today. He is late for a mission. For most ninjas this would be rare occurrence but for Naruto this was pretty typical and why nobody every gives him credit for all his work and how strong of a ninja he is. However he was starting a new mission with Hinata who was one person that was nice to him. She cheered him on during the Chuunin exams, which annoyed hims since he was still a genin. He finishes his noddles fast and then gets dressed and meets Hinata outside the gates. "Sorry I am late, I overslept. Are you ready to go? Is it just us?" He looks around for anybody else coming.

Hinata sighs deeply wondering what was taking Naruto so long. As usual he was always late for anything. Even when they was in the academy. No one never understood Naruto not like Hinata could. That was something that draw her to Naruto. Beside having the nine-tail fox within him he was always special to Hinata. Hearing Naruto she turns bright red staring at him. She nibbles on the bottom of her lip before she spoke "Hmm...no....well for now anyway...we will met up with Temari once we get to the boarder. She will escort us to the sand village.." says. She wasn't the type of person like most people about Naruto tardest but it did look like they will have a very late start.

"Well let's be off then!" Naruto knew only a little bit of information from Temari, she had been in the Chuunin exams with them, and was very skilled with the fan of hers. It sent shivers down his back, but he knew he was going to be stronger then her someday. Naruto walked proudly through the exit of the village towards the Sand Village. He actually wanted to see Gaara more then go on this mission. The journey would take several days. The journey itself did not bother him it was more the fact he didn't know Hinata very well and it would be along walk if they didn't talk. "What's your favorite food, Hinata?" Naruto asked curiously to start up conversation wither her, hoping she enjoyed eating as much as he did. If he could get her to talk then the journey would go fast and maybe they would have a fun time together.

Hinata follows Naruto out of the village gates. As they head out on their mission, she just hopes nothing happen. But then it wouldn't be an interesting mission if there was a fight or two. Hinata brushes back some of her hair looking over at Naruto "Oh anything...I'm not that picky on what I eat. Plus I learn out to cook so I don't mind cooking on the trip to the sand village." says softly. She would be staring at Naruto but keeping focus on their surroundings as you can never tell when they could get ambushed. There had been rumors that the akatashi was still targetting Naruto since he has the nine tail beast inside of him.

Naruto listens to Hinata, since they are talking about food it is one of the few things that can keep his attention. "That's good because I am not a very good Cook. I never got Sakura, or Kakashi to eat anything that I have made." Naruto laughs at himself and then shrugs. "That just leaves more for me." Naruto then silently walks not knowing what else to say to Hinata. He doesn't know very much about her. He sighs to himself. It's going to be a long walk if I can't get Hinata to talk about something. Nervously he continues to walk along the path to the sand village. "Do you know how long it will take to get to the sand village?" Maybe it won't take that long to get there afterall.

Hinata couldn’t help but to laugh herself. She never tasted Naruto’s food so she wouldn’t know how his team act. She nibbles her lip and continues on walking before hearing something. Hinata stops before noticing something before she grabs Naruto on the arm “Stop..watch where you step?” says in a whisper tone. Hinata notice trip wires ahead of them and knew it was a trap of some kind. “We are not alone...” says looking around the forest.

Naruto looks alone. In a hushed tone he whispers back "Do you know where they are?" Naruto didn't know her well enough to figure it out without asking. He notices a shuriken from the corner of his eye and does clone techinque and gets behind Hinata. "You're right, let's get cover unless you have a better idea." This was Naruto's first mission since he had come back from training and it had been awhile since he faced combat.
