Yeah... but to have shoes... for the girls. *sighs* Oh well, whatever makes him happy... Just seems like a waste of money to me but it's his decision... I'll never understand kids these days. I was raised to know when things were really needed to when they weren't really needed and was taught how to save money rather than just spend it on expensive things. (I do splurge every now and then, but it's rare.)

Yeah, I can understand that - but also teaching him on how to not waste money and to understand how to save money is an important thing to learn as well. Just saying.

Angie- I know people always accuse women of being mad over shoes, but I don't think people who say that have met a teenage boy. My seventeen year old brother is obsessed with shoes too! He also needs a lot for sports, but he likes them for style as well.

Moonlit- I do hope your day gets better! Or at least the tomorrow is.

Just my mom, the dogs and me. It was spur of the moment. Last night she was complaining about having no one to camp with, I was like, "What! I've told you I'd go with you a hundred times!" and she was like "When did you say that!? Really? Let's go tomorrow!" So there we have it! The dogs will have a blast I'm sure, getting so much exercise and being fed hot dogs. :P

Iltu: Thanks - I hope so too. This whole blah mood thing is getting old!

OH that sounds like fun though!! :) Are you going to a campground or where? :D either way it sounds like fun! :)

---------- Post added 08-29-2015 at 09:20 AM ----------

Yeah, an image that is fed by society and makes people THINK they need things like that... I'm sick of society making people think that you have to look a certain way or act a certain way... Blah! :(

Ugh, my mood really isn't helping. I think I need to go and I Don't know when I'll be back. I really shouldn't let myself be on here when my mood is this on the edge. :/

I'm just one of those who has been treated poorly because of the society's way of looking down and thinking it's ok to judge people just because they're different - and I'm tired of society expecting children of this age to act/think/behave/buy... etc... certain things act a certain way blah blah blah. :/

Iltu: I hope that you have fun. :]

Good morning everyone...well almost afternoon to be specific.

I should be out doing errands, but I don't want to wander out into 110 degree weather. Arizona summers suck.

I just got out of my bath - which it took a bit longer to get around to taking than I meant to. It kind of helped my back.

Queen: I know how it feels to have to go out in that hot of heat - I'm not in Arlzona but it's been between 105 to 110 or so lately here... it sucks! D: I can't wait for Fall to get here and the cooler temps!

Cooler days would be awesome! Tired of being set to broil all the time. Driving me crazy. But that's the price you have to pay to live in Arizona where cost of living is cheaper. There are always trade offs.

And it looks like we will be stepping out for a bit. Got some errands to run that I can't put off anymore. I'll be back to chat.

I decided not to go. We will go in the morning to get my bowling ball and do the light grocery shopping we need to do.

We are trying to get pregnant and I want to get pregnant now so I can avoid being in the last trimester of pregnancy during the Arizona summer.

Lorwyn, funny you should say batman, my husband and I are in the middle of our batman marathon. We're pretending the batman and robin movie doesn't exist since it was so terrible.

We can't wait!! <33 And as far as we can tell, our 2 1/2 year old is excited to meet her sister too - but we'll just have to wait and see.

Lorwyn: Thank you! :] How are you doing? :)

Living here in Arizona it's one of those things that I think about with us wanting to get pregnant. Wouldn't be fair to him to listen to me bitch about how hot and miserable I am because we got pregnant at the wrong time of the year. But if it happens, oh well. He's a trooper and dealt with much worse from me, so he'll make it through.

Just a few more weeks and she'll be here. My friend just had her first kiddo and he came early due to complications, he was only 33 weeks when they did the C-section. Both mom and baby are doing well right now. He might be coming home at the end of next week.

Of course it isn't necessarily something you can always time right no matter how hard you do try. So even then - you never know how it'll go. One thing we learned with this pregnancy is to just go with the flow - we weren't actually actively trying for a kid when I got pregnant with her, but we weren't doing anything to prevent it either. :]

That's good that they're going doing alright! And that he gets to come home soon - how long was he in the hospital for?

This is my first kid with Daniel, but all intents and purposes he is Norah's father in my eyes, but this is the first pregnancy I've had a partner here with me every step of the way.

Ugh! There are just times when I feel like screaming and banging my head into things - apparently my evening isn't going to go according to plan. :(

How's everyone's evening going?

He was born almost two weeks ago. I can't remember the specific day.

We haven't been doing anything to prevent getting pregnant for the last three years. So who knows. Pretty sure my weight has something to do with us not getting pregnant, or the stress of being the only income for the household, or who knows. I did have a fertility test and I was told there is nothing wrong. Rodd and I did get pregnant once, but it didn't last longer six weeks. So I know we can get pregnant.
I'm sure it will happen eventually.

Sometimes the stress of trying to conceive can cause problems too.

I may have to go - my mood has taken a nosedive. :/

I'm glad that you're feeling better today.
I know the feeling - lately I've been having a lot of down days.
It's hard to focus on the positives sometimes.
But I'm focusing on the fact that hopefully soon we'll get to hold our sweet girl. :]
