I havent made a portfolio in ages
When do you have to have your portfolio done by?

Well.. my books for school have already been turned in. They're not in my university's archive. The portfolios I'm working on now are my professional portfolios I plan on using to go find work. So.. no real deadline perse. But it has to be perfect and I want at least 4 versions done by next week.

Well. By 4 I mean more like 4 sections. Package Design, Illustration, Web Design, and Branding. I always tailor my resume and portfolio to whatever job I'm applying for. So when I'm applying for a place like Dieline (a packaging company) I make sure I have 5 pieces that are strong packaging pieces. So really.. the 4 portfolios is 20 completely finished and polished projects.

I do and don't. For the most part I am either re-purposing work that's already been done or just fixing it up
