(Romance and what nots. live in the snow and mountains with snow dogs and stuff lol)

Roman was chipping away the ice from his little cottage up on the north hill. The sun was shinning bright enough to get a good suntan that early in the morning.

Bluebell brought wood up to her cottage. She stopped, tired. she looked down the hill to see some one else doing something. Neighbors! she thought happily. She went down to say hi. "Um, Hi!" she stuck out her hand. "I just moved here!"

"O hey there." He shook her hand and smiled politley. "I'm Roman. It's nice to meet you... miss...?" He did not let go of her hand though.

"I'm Bluebell." she smiled. "I live up there with my sled dogs."

roman kept smiling at Bluebell all the while not letting her hand go. "Hey, Um... would you like to... some over for dinner sometime this week?" He awaited her answer as his look grew more pointed and stared into her eyes serious like.

"Sure! I'll call you when!" she promised. his eye colors are pretty... she said looking into the gray eyes.

Roman smiled and let her hand go. But as soon as he did he felt there was something missing in his life. He went back to chipping off ice and protecting the wood with new varnish

Bluebell went up to her dog Icicle. "Guess what girl? we have neighbors!" she cuddled with her dog. "His eyes were pretty girl. You should of seen 'em..."

Roman had a thort and yelled over to Bluebell's house. "HEY!" He cupped his hands around his lips "WHY DON'T YOU COME TONIGHT!?"

Bluebell heard and yelled back, "Sure!" she started cooking some things to bring. she backed some cookies and at dusk went to the neighbors.

Roman had the table set for two and dogs wall set for twenty snow dogs. He was buying some pups tomorrow to breed for him when they were older. He let them all in just as bluebell came in. "Hey." He leaned forward and kissed her check lightly. "hows the day been?" He had showered to impress her and you could smell the cologne on him strongly.

"I'm going great!" she said. "Wow something smells good."

Roman smiled. "The food or me?" he laughed and took her dishes from her placing them on the table. It wasn't set fancy but had one single candle on the center. He did not have lights in his house and had to use lamps and candles to see. He took her hand in his and led her to her seat pulling it out for her smiling the whole time. He had a newly clean shaved face which he had done just for her. It wasn't often he had guests. "So are you hear on holiday? Or for good." His eyes looked hopeful for the later option.

"Well, yeah, sorta for good." she said. "I decided to live here with my dog because it just seemed so peaceful..." she looked at Icicle and saw all the food bowls for dogs. "How many dogs do you have?" she asked.

He was pleased to haer that and had a smug look on his face. I plan on getting to know her REAL good like!! He smirked at his own thoughts before commenting on his dogs. "20 dogs and getting two breeding pups tomrw."

"wow." she was amazed. "So when did you move here? It's beautiful." she let Icicle find the other dogs.

"Oh, I lived here with my family when i was just a pup myself. This is all i really know." He ate some food and finished his plate.

"cool." she finished. "Yum! that was good!" she said happily

Shad shook his head and laughed. Suddenly all his dogs started barking and running to the door. something was out there. Pulling on his massive think coat he grabbed his rifle off the wall which was already loaded. He pulled he curtain back and peeped out. "wovles on my door step."

she went over. He was right, two wolves sat on his doorstep, begging apparently. "They're beautiful." she murmured. "Don't kill them!" she turned to her neighbor. "They look friendly." she pushed open the door and held her hand out for the wolves to sniff. She looked up and saw the northern lights. "When the northern lights shine animals are friendly." she remembered what her mother used to say.

Shad was frustrated. "Yea and in the dead black of night someone gets killed. Even in the day time they seem to find there way out into the towns to snack on some human flesh!" He pulled his rifle against his shoulder sighting down the double barrel at the ready to pull the trigger.

the wolf licked her hand. "Aww, they're just big huskies!" she scratched one's head. "Don't shoot them!"

At single shot rang through the air echoing off into the distant valleys. Shad lowered the rifle and stepped outside. "Where the hell did that come from?" His voice was rough.

"I don't know!" she looked at the fleeing wolves. "did you do that?"

He looked at her. "No. But come on! grab our coats and head out to the barn. we need to see if our neighbers are all right." whistleing he called his dog wolves to him and hitching them up to the sled in his barn. "Come on! hustle up! Snow stop that rachket!!" He shoved snow with his foot and she sat down waiting his commands.
