"no. you smell nice." he leaned forward and place his nose in her hair

Bluebell blinked. He still had all that colone on, he smelled o.k. too.

He pulled back quickly. "Oh... Um.... sorry. Getting a little bit carried away there." He snickered at his sillyness.

"its o.k." having nothing else to say, she closed her eyes.

Shad stood up and moved into the kitchen. "You want anything to drink?" He smiled "I'm sure this lady wont mind if we have something." The women stirred in her blankets and moaned softly.

"nah, I'm fine." she yawned. "I'm going to bed though. wake me up when you get tired or she wakes up." she went into the lady's bedroom and changed. She never really wore anything in her sleep, just underwear.

Shad lay on the couch and fell asleep. Morning came quickly with the sun shining high in the sky. He shivered under his blankets and then remembered the lady. Bending down he checked her out and sounded like her breathing had improved immensely

When morning came Bluebell woke up. She got dressed and went to find Shad. she saw him bending over the woman. "Is she all right?" she asked, sitting down.

"Yea she is. But we better get her to a clinic or hospital as soon as possible." He nodded at her "Have some breakfast and ill strap her to the sleigh and dogs. Gather some food becuase its going to be a long trip."

Bluebell gathered what food there was and then realized she was starving. She took an apple and ate that as she tied her to the sled team.

Once everything and everyone were tied down he set off at a steady pace singing a song as he went.

Bluebell liked the song of his voice. It sounded like what she pictured as the mountains. Strong, steady... she focused on the woman and asked, "Where is the nearest hospital?"

He shrugged "A day and a half away.... roughly. We will have to camp over night."

She looked at the woman. I wonder if she'll make it... she didn't say anything.

Shad was thinking the same thing when they came to the mountain side where the terrain was rough and edge thin. "What ever you do... Don't move in sleigh "

Bluebell nodded as the sled team moved up the mountain. She kept her hands firmly on the lady and stared strait ahead, trying not to look down.

The sleigh tilted on the edge put pulled away as the dogs gently pulled it along. Once clear they came to a cave where Shad stopped to have a break and rest his feet.

"can I move now?" Bluebell called, trying not to look down at the dizzying hight.

"Yes you can." He smiled and stepped from the sleigh onto the flat sapce in the cave comeing over to un hook the food and bluebell. We will rest here for a bit and then keep moving again

"o.k." she got out. "Glad thats over!" she sighed

He smurked "For now" Shad spread out a tarp to sit on and pulled out some cold meat for the dogs and a few sandwiches for them. "Here, take one."

"thanks. she watched as Icicle ate with the other dogs. "How far is it now?" she asked, hoping the woman wouldn't feel the cold and make her inguries worse.

"Still a long way. We will have to spend the night out here. But i only have on sleeping bag so the lady will be put in it and we will have to huddle together under the tarp." He smiled "first we need to travel a bit further."

"o.k." she hated to admit it, but her heart raced at the thought of sleeping next to him.

After lunch the traveled a fear distance and came to another cave, this one being much deeper. "In here." He unstrapped everything they needed but left the women where she was in the sleeping bag. "hopefully she is still alive in the morning."
