Exactly. I know how horribly addicting the game can be! I've been playing all... day... long.
(Also, when I heard the new expansion pack is coming soon, I almost keeled over)

i haven't played any of the expansion packs yet because i still really like sims 2 so i refused to buy it until i was bored lol

but alas, all my sims 2 (i have every. single. expansion) is on my desktop which is in storage ... and has been sitting there for over a year :gonk: needless to say, i was driven to sims 3 by sheer withdrawal :lol: so i borrowed the first one only from my aunt (between her and my mom they have all the expansion packs so far) :rofl: a sims family!

so what is the new expansion pack?

I only have a couple Sims 2 expansions, mainly for the PS2. I just can't find them now! Other than Castaway, that is. I've been with Sims 3 since the beginning, and only lack a few expansions, which are basically stuff-packs.

The new one, other than Diesel Stuff (which I'd assume is garage-workshop-car stuff), is Supernatural, which seems to be the Sims 3 version of Sims 2's Makin' Magic. It includes pixies, witches/wizards, werewolves, zombies, and a new town.

And of course, I'm getting it the day it comes out, I believe, September 17.

oooh yea i saw that on the pop up advertisement! the supernatural and diesel bits... i believe diesel is a clothing line so i automatically went there first, but who knows :P but pixies and zombies sounds amazing! i'd like to see some fairies and other such mythical beings :)

i don't have any of the games for game consoles other than the pc! the original sims had a lot of expansion packs too and i have all those as well! but there are soooo many for sims 2 for the pc as well... i had to go to ebay to find some of them... it's weird, but i take pride in collecting them all :lol:

Usually the stuff packs have some clothes, things for home, and on some occasions, cars (especially prominent on 'Fast Lane Stuff', whose vehicles I love). And you know the strange thing? I have a house with a human, mummy, vampire, and ghost. Now I'll be able to add werewolf, pixie, zombie, and witch (or wizard) to the group as well and make an amazingly hilarious story out of it. A bit like Being Human with a few extra non-humans.

I generally go for PS2 games, since I've had the console for a very long time. Not when it comes to Sims 3, however. That has to focus more on PC, so I can access custom hairstyles, mainly.
It's not that weird, to me, at least. I take pride in collecting a certain thing as well. Mostly odd stones I find outdoors (for reality, anyway).
