Aurora
This day sucked. It sucked so bad for Aurora. She'd made camp the night before in an abandoned house, only to be woken in the middle of the night by visiting slave traders. The building wasn't as abandoned as she'd thought. Tugging lightly at the dirty, frayed rope that bound her arms behind her back, she glared at the crowd of people who were making some bids on the other women around her. Like them, she was clothed in a simple dress, white, the neckline falling off her shoulders and the front half of the skirt part short, maybe mid-thigh, while the back half fell to mid-calf. The albino just couldn't believe her luck, sold to the highest bidder, to some creepy old male for whatever he could think of. Shuddering minutely, she let a sympathetic gaze fall on the pair of fae that'd just been sold. They were crying while the traders were shoving them around and hitting them. Only a couple more before it became her turn to be auctioned.

Turning back to the crowd, sighing, the recently reborn vampire glared some more, noticing a rather distinctly rich, arrogantly aristocratic male watching her from the back of the crowd. Something about this one didn't sit right with her, and in her distraction she nearly missed the boos as the other two before her were sold. It was her turn now, and fearfully she watched the elder gentleman make bid after bid, slowly driving the price for her higher and higher. She didn't want to be bought, didn't want to be owned or controlled, not again, never again. Aurora struggled harder against her bindings, her eyes closed with the force of her concentration, that she missed one of the spare traders stepping to her till her head cracked against the stone pillar she was tied to, stars dancing behind her eyelids and the scent of blood making her salivate. She hadn't fed yet, not fed on what she really needed, the hunger burning fiercely in her gut as glowing ruby eyes turned to the stupid trader. Glittering with magic, she snared the man in her thrall, making him step closer and bare his throat to her. So close, yet now it was so far as the other traders tackled the man to the ground and placed a blindfold over her eyes. Shrieking in rage, the denial of her food royally pissing her off, she struggled more, the cloth preventing her from seeing the next trader that smacked her head back again, this time when she collided with the stone she lost consciousness. Sinking into the darkness just as the bidding was called to halt. Someone just bought her.

Seiri
The raven relaxed, reclining in the bed as he looked over his new loot. The jewels he'd taken from the last aristocrat he'd killed. The diamonds and the pearls would certainly fetch him a pretty penny. Seiri grinned, tossing a ring up in the air and catching it, he could sense that today would be his lucky day. Standing quickly, he pulled on a black sleeveless shirt, tucking it into his loose fitting black pants before tying on the red sash. Brushing his fingers through his hair, securing the long locks with a leather tie, he leaned down to pull on the knee high half-heel boots. Grinning dashingly at nothing in particular, he snatched up the side bag and his money purse, sticking them in his pockets before taking up his long black cloak, moving the hood to conceal his face as he stepped outside his room and locking the door.

Moving through the town, he made his way to main market, quickly finding a not so highly reputable jeweler. He couldn't go to the highest since they might recognize their own work, and he couldn't have them becoming too curious and try to get the police on him. It would hinder all his plans. Haggling prices he quickly managed to sell the jewels, increasing the size of his money purse, before moving to another stall so he could stock up on supplies. He grabbed a few refills for his weapons cleaning kit, a new set of daggers, a retractable naginata, and some more rope and climbing hooks. From the next stall he came across, an apothecary, he requested poisons, toxins, the antidotes, healing salves, and bandages. Plenty of bandages.

Turning to find another stall to pick stuff up at, he instead focused toward the center where the slave trading went down. A commotion had started, one of the "property" was fighting back, which they should in his opinion. No one deserved being someone else's property. Moving closer, he managed to get a better look; an albino female nearly escaping. But when one of the traders smacked her, Seiri took a step to help her, pausing when he noticed her glowing eyes. A vampire? Now? It didn't make any sense. Vampires were generally nighttime creatures. No, this one had to be powerful and special. He flinched when his sensitive hears caught the crack of bone breaking, she'd been knocked unconscious this time, and when she woke she'd have a nasty headache. Looking around, hoping to catch sight of the one that bought her, he grinned. Another extremely rich guy, with a pretty little daughter too. It really was his lucky day.

Priscilla

The young woman watched with a look of slight disgust as the slave traders went on about their wares. From one to the next, she could not help but pity them and think that all of this was quite wrong. Etiquette, morals, philosophy ... They had all been part of her studies, and though her father stood by her side Priscilla could not hide what she felt. This was wrong, all of her teachings and thoughts pointed her that way.

Putting on a bored air, she yawned. "Father, must you do this? Especially for that one?"
The poor girl... Being her father's plaything was no easy task. After living with the man her whole life, Priscilla knew him better then anyone. She was his heir, all he wanted from her was her loyalty and obedience, she was safe from everything else. This show piece on the other hand, the man would use to demonstrate his power.

The white haired man smiled as he patted her head gently. "My new toy has powers of her own, showing the others that I can control her might gain me more allies in my bid for the throne. Why don't you run along home with your guard now?" It was a clear dismissal.

(( I can't find a pic I truly adore for Caz. T.T But you have an idea of what he looks like anyway.))

Casimir
With a sigh, he listened in a little on the conversation. He'd been hired to guard Priscilla two months ago. Casimir hadn't thought it would be so difficult, but the young woman made it so! Always whining about proper manners and dress, while incessantly trying to run off and help beggars and the like! Turning his brown eyes away from father and daughter, he scanned the crowd for any threat.

Of course there were the usual pick pockets, but they shied away from his charge almost automatically. Either word of her aid had spread, or they were too afraid of Casimir to try. Pulling his dark cloak closer to himself, the man let out a disgruntle sound as he was basically ordered to escort Priscilla home. Grabbing her arm, the man led the woman trough the throng and into a waiting carriage. It must have been nice having so much money always at your disposal.

Casimir settled her into her room, quietly making sure it was secure, before leaving her there. It was imperative that he make sure the new slave was no threat to his charge. To do so, he had to meet the woman and evaluate her danger himself. He didn't trust his employer, though he had grown fond of his charge in his own way.

Ba-dump. Ba-dump. Ba-dump.
She knew that sound, a hearbeat, the sound meant food. Groaning softly, she instead whimpered as any and all sounds hurt. That last crack to her skull, and the following healing, it created a rather nasty migraine that left her sensitive to sound and sight. Eyes cracked open carefully, she rolled onto her stomach, then up to her hands and knees to hesitantly crawl across the floor. Letting her nose guide her, she caught the smell of blood, there was a large goblet placed near her. Shaking hands picked up the goblet, bringing the rim to her lips, she sighed in pleasure as the first drop touched her tongue and she greedily drank down the rest.

Licking her lips to make sure she hadn't spilled a single drop, she hummed, the blood now coursing through her body helping to speed the healing and take away the pain. Opening her eyes fully, she had to blink a little to see within the dim light, ruby eyes landing on a dark haired male. "Who are you? Where am I?" Aurora demanded, glaring at him as she stood, body tensed and ready should he choose not to cooperate. She could have rifled through his mind, he looked mortal and they were so easy to deal with, but felt that it was impolite to do such a thing.

Watching as the traders got the little vampire ready to go to her new home, Seiri made a disgusted sound, his cat like ruby eyes watching the entire thing. He couldn't do anything right away, and it bothered him, but he could later by using the Heir Apparant ring he'd stolen from one of his last killings. The poor old man had lost his whole family, even his heir, to a tragic house fire. The man had become a recluse, except to buy more slaves after he'd beat them from a drunken rage. He readily deserved to die, and Seiri was happy to oblige him.

Deciding that maybe he needed new clothes, he visited one of the local seamstresses. A man like the one he'd seen, he flaunted his wealth, so there was no doubt in Seiri's mind that there would be a party so the man could show off his acquisition. Commisioning the clothes, which he asked to be delivered to his room at the hotel, he left after leaving quite a number of gold coins for the overworked woman behind the counter. Making his way back to his room, he carefully put away his cloak, hid his coin purse, and his weapons, before opening a window.

That done, he closed his eyes and let his body shift, bones snapping and rearranging, skin stretching and shrinking and stretching again as it too changed to accommodate the new form, skin prickling as feathers quickly pushed out and grew. Ruby eyes opened once more as the change finished and he let out a loud caw, glossy black raven wings flapping as he bounced to the bed, then the window sill. From there Seiri took flight, wings beating to lift his body higher in the air, crimson orbs on the lookout for the old man so he could follow him and study the house he'd be entering later. It always was a good idea to get a feel for the security, entrances and exits, and the surrounding area that he could use for escape.

There was a party. It was all because her father wanted to show of his newest slave. The brunette sighed and rolled her golden eyes as the maids fussed. They bustled about pulling out clothing and shaking their heads after placing the dresses in front of the young woman. She wasn't even allowed to choose her own clothing for the party, it had to meet her father's approval. How else was the young woman, empty headed in his eyes, supposed to capture the eye of a rich influential young man? Actually, the man didn't even need to be young as long as he was influential and rich.

She didn't want to marry someone she didn't love. Priscilla was contemplating running away, and hiding. One major thing was stopping her though. Priscilla didn't know how to survive without maids, or servants, to take care of her. She was a hopeless cook, had no idea how to clean things or even what she would need when traveling. So for the moment Priscilla was stuck under her father's thumb, simply another pawn for his political games.

He had been waiting for quite some time, and now she was finally awake. Casimir had to admit the vampire had looks, though considering what she was he didn't trust her. As she awoke, he didn't move an inch, but stayed where he was with his arms crossed. What a disgusting way to live, having to survive from the blood of others. It made Casimir shiver even to think of it.

"My name is Casimir. You're in the Beaumont family's mansion. You've been purchased by Evraim Beaumont." Pausing, he moved forward to kneel in front of her. Looking her in the eyes with his own, Caz frowned seriously. "The only thing I need to know is that you mean no harm to my charge, Priscilla. What he father does, she has no control over." Priscilla was like his younger sister. If anything happened to her, Casimir didn't know what he would do. It had only taken two months in her company for the man to want to protect her, payment or not.

Blinking innocently, she tilted her head to the side in confusion. "Harm someone? Why on earth would I do that?" Aurora didn't know what to think of this male, though he was rather cute. "The only time someone got hurt by my hand was when I was defending myself. I know I'm a vampire, but I only hunt animals, not people. Well, only if I get their permission." She commented, blushing softly, it wasn't something she admitted freely since other vampires saw her as a freak and an outcast. To drink only animals blood, it left her half as powerful as she could be, at least according to the other vampires.

Aurora slowly spun around to look at the room she found herself in, though she wondered if she could really call it a room. "What's going to hapen to me now?" She asked as she finished, crimson eyes back on him. Gasping and then blushing brightly she quickly dusted off her dress, then curtsied carefully. "My sincerest apologies, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Aurora, though Rora works too." Remaining in place, head bowed, she waited to hear from the gentleman. It seemed that right now, he was her judge and if she was not careful, she would end up dead.

Having made his rounds, and joyfully noting the annoyance of the security guards from him flying around and generally being an annoyance, Seiri flew back to town, the cool night air feeling very welcome as the sun began to set. Making it back to his room he noticed the box with his comissioned clothes. Opening the container, he smiled, it was perfect. He'd chosen correctly when he went to the smaller shop and tipped the woman generously. Removing his clothes except for his black pants, he pulled on the silk red button up, then the black leather vest, finally the black tie. Normally he never wore such things but today was going to ba a special occasion, and he had to look presentable.

Pulling on a bracelet, then the gold celtic ring with the polished ruby set in it, Seiri looked at himself in the mirror. Grinning he grabbed up the red and black scrolled mask, not tying it on just yet, and his cloak. Pulling that on, he descended the stairs quickly, and after conversing with the innkeeper, moved to the stables where a waiting black stallion was all ready for him to travel on. He would have flown, but didn't want to risk that so close to a property. Climbing up on to the horse, he quickly made his way to the house of his new target, hoping that he didn't arrive last.

She was fiddling with her mask, quite annoyed with her father and the whole situation. First of all her dress was horrendous, in her eyes. It would have been perfectly presentable if those feathers hadn't been adorning it. Priscilla hated feathers with a passion, she didn't like birds either for that matter. Then there were all those drooling old men positively surrounding her. They knew who she was, because of her richly decorated mask and the fact that her father had made sure to tell everyone what his daughter would wear.

Shaking her head Priscilla stood. She needed air! Though reaching a balcony, with a crowd this large... It was a difficult task indeed, weaving in and out of people and trying to avoid others. If only something exciting happened, if only her father showed up with his slave on his arm. Then people would stop suffocating her, and go annoy him instead! They always did this when Casimir wasn't present.

Standing, the young man want to grab a box. Placing it in front of the vampire he nodded to it then backed away. "Your owner wants you to put this on. A few words of advice, do everything you can to keep Evraim happy and no harm will come to you. He didn't buy you for a bed warmer, but for a show piece." Turning away, Casimir was about to leave the cell like room but then looked back one last time. "Rora, my name is Casimir." Nodding to himself he left to get changed himself.

Reaching his room, he slipped on his chemise and blaizer quickly. Casimir didn't even bother buttoning the annoying things up fully, but instead rushed out of his room after concealing a few more weapons on his person. He was nearly running out of his room to reach Priscilla. There were always crowds of people she found annoying surrounding her. Though he knew he wouldn't get there in time to make sure none formed, at least Caz could make sure none of those ... men went overboard.

Studying the box before her, she almost missed the other leaving. Sighing, Aurora kneeled and opened the box, taking out the gaudy mask out first and setting it aside, a look of disgust on her face, before she picked up the outfit itself. It was rather nice, silk, and in a beatiful shade of emerald green with gold thread and green gems used to decorate. Removing the dress from the slave traders, she pulled on the halter bikini top, tying the fabric in a tight bow. Slipping the skirt on, she readjusted the raised belt then pulled the laces tight. Finding a few other accessories, she put them on; a large silver choker with a large emerald in the center and a pair of dyed green ear cuffs that had dangling leaves. Finding a brush and a few other items for her hair, she finally brushed out the knots careful before pulling the sides back and up, adding the decorative pins, mindful of the circlet which she figured had to have been placed on her while she was unconscious.

Looking even further in the box, she found make up and a hand mirror, but she only used the eyeshadow, then darker green closer to the lash line then fading into a pale green up to the brow, the black liner, drawing a thick line out to the corner of her eye wher she drew it out longer and added a wing. Aurora debated the lipstick, but put it on anyway, lips now vibrant red, then put on the ridiculous mask. Finished completely, she went to the door, knocking on it to let whoever, there more than likely was someone on the other side, was guarding the door know she was done. Stepping back as it opened, she mentally groaned as the lord entered, on his arm what looked like a long white cloak. So he intended to hide her then show her off?

Shrugging to herself, she let the man put the cloak on her, lifting the hood up while being mindful of her hairstyle, she then took his arm and let him escort her to the dancing hall. Ruby eyes watching everyone, she noticed the man's daughter even though she wore a mask. "My Lord, might it not please everyone more if I perform something when you debut me?" She requested, thinking that if she did, maybe the young woman, Priscilla if she recalled correctly, could have a few moments alone. Smiling up at him prettily as he agreed, she quietly tip-toed over to where the band was playing, asking that they pause then once the gentleman cease talking they play a more oriental upbeat tune so she could dance. When the dance floor cleared she moved to the center, the cloak rustling about her feet, earning herself a few whispers, but it didn't bother her. Exhaling softly, she waited till she heard the first strong beat before tearing the cloak off and starting her sultry belly dance.

Looking around, the raven brushed his hand down the front of his shirt and readjusting his mask. He'd gotten in, it had taken a bit of talking but in the end someone he'd met at another party vouched for him so he could get in. And other demons thought him insane for even considering to mingle with the human, yet here it paid off with his mission. But because of the problem with getting in, it meant he had to be more social now. That was a problem. Many of these rich aristocrats didn't like traveling far away, and he needed to travel far and wide to make sure he wasn't captured.

Walking toward the main hall, Seiri paused as it went quiet. A lone figure in a white cloak kneeling in the middle of the space. Ruby eyes watched intently, gasping softly as once the music started up, a hard and fast beat, the figure cast off the cloak and started a sensous dance. Dipping, shaking, shimmying, the albino beauty was as graceful as a cat, mesmerizing as a snake, and drew the crowd like moths to her fire. At one point he saw her make a bow towards someone, a dark haired male that seemed to hover protectively around one female in particular, though she hid it well in the dance.

Grinning softly, Seiri descended the stairs and made his way purposely toward the female. "Good evening My Lady." He spoke, bowing at her with his hand over his chest. "May I be frank? While you are most lovely, this dress does you no justice. Whoever picked it may need to have his sight looked at." He hoped it came off as a joke, he really didn't mean to offend her.

A wave of relief filled Priscilla when Casimir arrived. Though his clothing choices didn't always meet her approval, nor his attitude, the young woman relied on him more then she realized. The man was always there to protect her, had been since his arrival. He was also the only person who would actually listen to her worries, her fears and her dreams. Casimir was Priscilla's only friend in a world where most people wanted to take advantage of her.

As she moved and her dress rustled around her, the brunette tried desperately not to think such thoughts. Instead she focused on the fact that all those men were turning around to stare at her father's newest slave. Casimir followed them too, but right now Priscilla didn't mind. The young woman was actually relieved to be alone, until someone else arrived. Dressed in red and black, with dark hair, at least he was polite as he spoke with her. "I'm glad to see someone else thinks my father has horrible taste," said Priscilla with distaste.

How wonderful someone else had come to bother her. All Priscilla wanted was some time alone, away from the crowds. Apparently this young man didn't understand that.

There was a crowd, and he knew Priscilla hated that. Though soon enough Aurora stepped out, surprising Casimir as much as anyone else. Moving with the crowd to watch her, the young man didn't at first realize he had left his charge behind. The white haired vampire was mesmerizing, every movement drawing Caz closer. It didn't make any sense, he's seen such dances before. But it seemed even more amazing for the fact that Rora was the one doing it.

And she was doing this to distract everyone from Pris. The bodyguard realized it soon after he was facing the vampire and she bowed in his direction. It was so smooth, this action, that he barely realized it.

She let the music move her, chest arching, hips popping back and forth as she leaned back, arms outstretched. Aurora loved this, the dancing, it made her feel so alive, more so than when she would drink blood. Spinning in place, she counted the beats of the song, so that when it ended, she seemed to collapse to the floor like a puppet whose strings were cute. Breathing deeply as the audience showed its approval with rather thunderous applause, Aurora seemed to slither up to standing, slowly circling around to curtsy the crowd. Pausing when she spotted Casimir in the group, she smiled and curtsied, though because he was in a cluster of others, one could not discern who exactly it was she was smiling at.

Quickly she stepped over to Evraim, her bare feet padding lightly on the marble floor. "My Lord." Aurora curtsied deeply, though turning as she had forgotten to grab her cloak, but it seemed someone else must have already grabbed it while she was busy. Turning to look back at the older male, she found he was busy already, and quietly slipped away to mingle with others. Spending a few moments with each cluster of people she smiled, spoke little and was generally polite. Making her way from another group, a few males that were trying to be a little too friendly with her, Aurora nearly bumped into Casimir. "Sir Casimir. My apologies. How did you like the performance?" She asked, quickly pulling her hand away from her chest where it had come to rest when she'd gasped at almost running into the other.

Seiri chuckled lightly. "I see. Might I suggest that maybe next time, something a little softer, less...feathery, instead?" He commented in a soft murmur, though his eyes remained steady on her, he couldn't help the occasional flicker over to the young woman dancing. "She is rather talented, isn't she?" He hadn't realized he'd spoken out loud. Shaking his head softly, wavy bang flouncing a little, he smiled kindly at the young woman. "Madam, might I trouble you for information on where the garden is? I find that plants happen to be rather soothing and I have had a most troubling ride out here." Seiri asked, once more bowing deeply towards the girl.

He was beginning to annoy her with all his bowing. Then there was the question of her horrid dress and the man just had to bring it up! Glancing over at her father's new pet, the young woman shuddered a little. To be forced to make such exhibitions, to be forced to obey the words of another and comply to their every whim! Snapping out of her thoughts as he mentioned going out to the gardens. Snatching upon the opportunity to leave, she finally smiled. "I would be glad to show you the gardens. They truly are relaxing." Perhaps this dark haired man wasn't so bad after all. Anyone who could appreciate the peace and beauty of the gardens couldn't be so horrible.

The dark haired man watched with a little awe and wonder as the girl danced for her audience. Every movement was so graceful and entrancing that Casimir wanted to .... He decided not to finish the thought as the danced finished and the evening progressed. People crowded around him, trying to befriend him so they could gain access to Priscilla. Strange as it might have seemed, they believed he controlled who saw her and who did not, when it was entirely her father's decision. Just as he was about to leave the group surrounding him the dancer in question came to meet him. "You were a pleasure to watch Aurora." Involuntarily he smiled as he spoke.

Aurora couldn't help the true grin that bloomed in response to his smile and compliment. She wasn t sure why, but his approval meant something to her. "Thank you, but the pleasure was all mine." She commented happily, smiling and lightly curtsying to all the other guests when they came to marvel over her. It was beginning to play on her nerves, though she never showed it. As Aurora dipped once more, to a person closer to Casimir, she stilled, body tight and tense. Glancing up at the male, disbelief and somehing else- nervousness maybe?- flickered in her ruby eyes before disappearing to be replaced with worry in a single blink. "Master Casimir, are you injured?" She murmured softly, daintly stepping closer to inspect him.

Seiri caught the shiver, curious about why she would feel sorry for the young girl, or maybe that wasn't why the young woman felt sorry for the dancer. Following beside the female, he didn't offer his arm as he felt that she would be against that, he let his eyes wander to catch everything. He was a theif, he had to be observant, it saved his life on more than one occasion where things went sour and he needed to make a quick escape. "Do you feel sympathy for her? The dancer..." He asked quietly, though he was sure she could hear him. Maybe, if he played his cards right, this girl could help him. And if he played them well he could get more than just the freedom of the little vampire.

The young woman was grateful that he made no move to take her arm. They didn't know each, why she didn't even know his name! Still, this was a masked ball, and her filigreed shroud kept her identity relatively secret. Motioning for him to follow her, Priscilla began walking out of the ballroom and towards the outside world. Soon enough they would cross trough a pair of wooden doors, and outside into the refreshing night air. "Yes, I do. Though I'd rather not state my reasons." If her father even heard her stating such a thing Priscilla would have been in very deep trouble.

Smiling in return, Casimir was content to watch quietly as the vampire interacted with everyone. A small chuckle left him as she stopped to regard him with those large eyes of hers. Lifting a hand, he exhibited a well bandaged cut upon his arm. It wasn't deep or serious for that matter, just enough for blood to seep out. It was already healing remarkably well. "Where do you think the blood you drank earlier came from?" Sending a rather dangerous glare at the others around the, Casimir smirked as they dispersed under his gaze.

Aurora tensed as he lifted his arm, eyes widening and lips parting in a soft gasp. She didn't know what to do first as the anxiety switched to fear, run and hide or slap the male. Regular blood, while extremely tastier than animal's, was also like a power booster and an aphrodisiac. It would help explain why she'd picked such a sultry, seductive dance. Let alone the strange attraction she found herself feeling toward him. The fear quickly faded as anger took over, and she glared at him. "Human blood? Did you or Lord Evraim do any research on my kind before he bought me? Human blood isn't exactly the safest to give me especially if I'm to be a pet." She spat the words 'lord' and 'pet', but her voice was soft enough for only him to hear. The vampiress's mood shifted once more as she sighed and stepped away from him. "Sorry. But I'm going to go stay away from the crowd as much as I can while still being seen. I'm not safe right now." Aurora grumbled petulantly, even as she spun to go back toward the one who owned her, trying not to let her mumbling be heard.

Seiri nodded, without her saying a word he was pretty sure he knew why she wouldn't speak. From what he'd seen earlier in the market, her father was a rather forceful and overbearing man. Crossing the threshhold to the outside, the raven inhaled deeply. The gardens certainly smelled better than most of the human scum inside. Grinning candidly for a few moments his eyes snapped open and he bonked himself on the forehead. "Dear me, how rude. I am Seiri Akado, adopted son and Heir to Lord Black, Last descendent of one of the ancient families." He spoke formally, placing his hand across his heart about to bow, but he remembered the flustered look on her face when he'd bowed the second time. He did however dip his head down respectfully. "I do prefer being called Seiri."

Looking up as the man hit himself in the forehead, Priscilla frowned. She'd never understood why people did that. His grin caught her eyes though, even as he spoke his name. Smiling slightly, she bowed her head in return. "Then call me Priscilla, but please say nothing about this to my father. He'd find some way to make you regret the lack of formality." He was just that kind of man. One needed to have Evraim's approval before becoming so ... Unformal with his daughter. Priscilla had to admit, there was a certain thrill in defying her father.

Wincing slightly at her anger, the young man shook his head. Lord Evraim had assured Casimir that giving her his blood would be for the best, despite the recommendation of the seller. It appeared that this decision had put everyone in danger, including his charge. Since Priscilla was outside with someone, Casimir had no idea whether the young woman wanted company or not. So he followed the vampiress with a determined expression despite how she stormed off. "If you're so dangerous, then I should follow. It might be possible for me to stop you from hurting anyone." The words were spoken quickly as she walked off.

(sorry for it not being too long)

When Aurora turned around, anyone in the room with even a remote trace of magic in their blood would be able to see the aura around her, a violently red color that danced like a flame. Ignoring the screams or yelps, even ignoring the tiny inner voice that told her she would be punished later, the vampiress stalked over to Casimir, ruby eyes glowing with the same snaring power as she'd used at the market.

This was one of the skills that caused people to fear her kind. It didn't just let the vampire control the victim, but also gave the vampire an open door into reading the victims mind, to learn anything and everything about them. She never intended to consciously use it, but if it meant saving someone she would. Looking directly into his eyes, she let a small sliver of her power enter his mind to poke around. Body tensing, her face went from anger to confusion as she seemed to encounter a mental barrier. That shouldn't have happened, not unless..."Magic..." She whispered softly, eyes looking down then up again.

All the anger melted away from her, leaving her a little breathless from having kept it burning. Now though it was creating a headache. "Ugh...The hell...?" She questioned softly as her hands came up to rub her temples, seconds before that red aura flared again and seemed to turn in on her, blood trickling from her nose. Groaning, her eyes rolled back into her head and she collapsed, knees hitting the ground first.

The warning she offered, about not saying to her father, made him snicker. The man could only hope to make Seiri regret anything. "If the lady wishes it, I shant speak a word." He then pantomimed turning a key in a lock over his mouth and tossing away the key. Sensing a build up of power, the raven looked back toward the inside with a frown. What was going on in there? He'd worry about it later, right now Seiri focused his attention to the young woman before him. "What are some of the best spots out here?" Maybe if he engaged her properly in a relaxing setting she'd be more cooperative with him later.

Casimir held his ground despite the menacing red aura surrounding the white haired woman. This wasn't the first time he'd had to deal with angered vampires, for some reason they just never seemed to affect him. He felt something prod at his mind, but that was all. There was no sense of intrusion, or of a controlling presence within his own mind. Though now Casimir wondered why that was when everyone else was running away.

His eyes widened as Aurora spoke. Magic? No, that was impossible! Then the vampiress was collapsing, and Casimir automatically moved to catch her in his arms before the fall harmed her. Cradling her gently, the dark haired man examined her carefully for any injuries. The blood coming form her nose worried him, but first and foremost he needed to bring her to a comfortable room. He didn't even wait for Evraim to say anything. Instead he rushed to his own rather sparse room and placed Rora upon his bed carefully. Covering her with the blanket, he settled down to wait and see what happened next.

His actions made her smile. That was a rare enough thing for Priscilla, because usually it was just the opposite. People wanted to make her like them, but they went about it in such a fake way and for all the wrong reasons. Extending an arm after hearing his words, the young woman began leading him towards one of her favorite spots. It was a magical place, with fragrant blossoms surrounding a stone bench. Facing the siting area was a fountain. Stopping there, Priscilla smiled and turned to Seiri. "You may not agree, but I think this place is amazing." Moving to sit on the bench, Priscilla did wonder why this dark haired man had made such a sudden appearance into her life.

Aurora groaned softly, rolling over onto her side away from Casimir, curling into a ball as much as she could. Her head hurt, the smell of spilt blood making her hungry again, adding the sound of a pounding heart, her fangs were poking against her bottom lip. Letting her other senses figure out where she was at, she realised that it was the male guard with her, not a stranger. God, she didn't want to get up, even if she had regained her consciousness. Getting up would mean feeding, feeding would mean more blood from Casimir. And that could lead to trouble, not just from blood loss on his part, but in her community, the more blood you took from a single individual, the more you bind that person to you. She didn't want that to happen to him, he didn't deserve that.

Grinning back at her genuinely, the raven followed after her, taking in the rather stunning area. "On the contrary, I rather think this place is amazing as well." He spoke sincerely as he watched her sit on the bench before he moved to sit on another bench close to her, at least at a respctful distance. "Why would you believe I wouldn't agree? Because I am male and am not supposed to like such feminine things as a garden?" He tossed out one possible reason, and of course in usual, proper societies, he really shouldn't have. But even with the passing of his angelic(literally) wife and daughter, he still found the beauty in life that she showed to him.

The dark haired man couldn't tell whether or not the vampire was awake. It worried Casimir a little, especially since he hadn't dealt too much with her kind. He'd seen vampires, but never truly had to deal with them. Standing to pace a within his small space, he regarded his desk. There were a few stray parchments here and there along with different kinds of writing instruments. You wouldn't think a bodyguard would have need of such things, but even Casimir liked writing his thoughts down from time to time. Sitting down, the man began doing just that.

Shaking her head, crowned with a mass of curls, the young woman fiddled with her dress a little nervously. "No, that's not it at all. It's just that usually people don't take the time to look around at this garden, not really. Instead it's all about how much everything cost." Priscilla hadn't wanted to offend him, not at all. Apparently her lack of real social interactions, without her father looking over her back, was going to make this a little difficult. "I apologize, I didn't mean to offend you." Might as well get that out of the way while she could.

Aurora sighed, she couldn't understand why he hadn't left. Then again, he didn't seem to have any experience whatsoever with her kind, he probably didn't know it was a bad idea to remain in the same room with a vampire that had passed out as she had. Hearing the scratching of a writing utensil on paper, she silently sat up, ruby eyes glowing for a second before scooting to the edge and standing. Quietly, mindful of the beads of her outfit, the vampire stood and made her way to the male. Rora stood behind him for a few moments, just watching him, not even moving to breath. Not like she needed to, it was an unconscious choice, one that allowed her to blend in with human society. But the older she would get, the most unlikely she would even remember to make herself act like she was breathing.

Leaning down, she draped her arms over his shoulders, hands loosely clasping over his heart. Pausing a little in case he flinched, Rora leaned down, placing a delicate kiss to the skin on her neck before licking at it and sucking a light red mark. "You and your master should have done better research on my kind before buying me." She murmured softly, just before she hissed a little and struck, sinking her fangs into his skin. Withdrawing the fangs, she greedily drank the flowing blood, quiet noises escaping her throat. As the flow slowed, she licked at the skin the heal the holes, and if he looked in a mirror they wouldn't even be scabbed over, just raw pink flesh. Licking her lips incase she missed any, she stepped back, stumbling a little and plopping back onto the bed with a giddy grin and giggle. "So good."

Seiri blinked at the young woman. Did she honestly believe that she had offended him? Quite the contrary. She had not offended him, more that he had offended himself. "Do not stress over it. It was not you who has offended me, only myself." The raven commented with a sincere smile. "But I must say it is rather beautiful. While expensive, I believe that this area is most lovely." He spoke, every word completely geniune, complimenting the gardener, or the caretaker perhaps, though he had an idea of who such a person was.

Hearing the music start up again in the main hall, faintly traveling the distance to reach their ears here, he smiled down to the resting female. "Would you care for a dance Hime?" He asked carefully, one hand reaching out toward her. He was fully prepared to accept her denial, yet he did hope that she chose to dance with him. Even with the garish clothing, he could see the potential beauty, something he hadn't seen since the death of his wife. And while no one could ever compare to her in his eyes, this young princess certainly was close enough.

The quill flew over the page, scratching lightly and leaving lines of elegant black script behind. The dark haired man had his mind filled with what had happened earlier, and he had to write it all down. Casimir didn't want to forget, nor did he wish to. The events were so puzzling, and then there was that word ... Magic. Did he truly have magic, or had that just been something she'd said to shock him? It had never crossed Casimir's mind, that he might have any abilities of that sort at all.

Then arms were around his neck, and hands rested against his beating heart. Unmistakable surprise filled the male, and his whole body tensed. A shiver ran down Caz's spine at Aurora's actions. His eyes half closed when she bit him, and he let out a surprised sound. He wasn't sure what he thought about this, but the man found himself liking it. A whine left him when Aurora pulled back, surprising Casimir completely.

Turning to her, Casimir frowned. "Does my blood really taste that wonderful?" He was trying to cover up the fact that all he wanted to do was ask her to do that again. Clasping his hands, Casimir sighed as he stared down at his hands.

Making sense of his words, the young woman nodded quietly. She was glad that her words hadn't offended Seiri. Priscilla found herself enjoying his company, and was wishing that after this ball they would be able to see each other again. A rare thought for someone whose father made sure that anyone who spoke with his daughter had his approval to do so. The thrill of disobeying him had Priscilla's golden eyes sparkling.

A delighted smile dawned upon her face upon hearing Seiri asking her to dance. Placing her hand delicately in his, the young woman stood along with him. "Seiri, what does Hime mean?" The word was foreign and slipped of the unused tongue with a little difficulty. There was just something different about this man, but Priscilla couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Aurora giggled a little, licking her lips. His question was so silly, didn't he know what he was? "Most blood does not taste as good. Magical blood, now that's intoxicating." She purred, words slurring together in her drunk-like haze. And she really was drunk, it had been tolerable earlier, the half-pint goblet full had let her be buzzed. That second half pint really did a number on her. "Its intoxicating, and can tend to be addictive. Which means no more biting you for a while." Giggling once more, she laid back on the bed. In the blink of an eye she was standing, not near the bed, but in the middle of the room. "I need something to do, something filled with activity...And I need you to keep up with me..." She murmured softly, though towards the end, her eyes were glowing bright crimson as she turned to him.

Using her speed so quickly found a small cup, and without using a knife, she used one of her own sharpened nails to slice across her wrist. It always bled enough, but nothing fatal like going up her arm, and the trickling liquid filled the cup. passing the cup to him, she knew the signifigance, knew that he wouldn't know, but hopefully would know that what she was giving him wouldn't change him. It wouldn't, mainly because she hadn't taken all but the last drop from him. What would occur from him drinking her blood was that any of his sleeping magic would slowly awaken, and he would be on a sudden buzz of energy that would last him quite a while. Aurora grinned, her high from the blood making her eager and excited, and impatient the more she had to wait.

Seiri chuckled when he noticed the sparkle, knowing it must be from something she would have considered 'bad', and at her question. Quickly he altered he grip, one hand clasping hers up while her other resting on his shoulder and his under her arm. "'Hime' means 'princess'. And I would think it fits you well." He murmured, easily leading her through the dances so well that it was like they were gliding.

Letting her go save for his dominant hand, he twirled her away from him, then back again. The raven really was a good dancer, and he was enjoying his time with the little human. Too bad it would have to be cut short soon. Eventually, they would have to head back inside, where everyone would see him with her, and that would be when he would strike, kidnapping this girl and demanding the release of that lords slaves. Especially the vampire. He really shouldn't be allowing himself to get close to this girl, and now he really couldn't return her either, she knew his name.

It was a little difficult to believe that his blood had caused this. He could tell she was drunk, and completely so. The giggling and slurring vampire... It made Casimir smile. Though really, he should have been taking care of his charge at the moment. Worry for Priscilla slipped trough him.

Just as he was about to stand, or question Aurora about her enigmatic words, she moved to him quickly. So quickly he could barely see her do so. Hesitantly taking the goblet, Casimir brought it to his lips. Taking a sip, he grimaced but finished by taking the whole thing. He wasn't quite sure why she was doing this, but it became clear as a sudden burst of energy filled him. And there was something else, everything seemed so much sharper. Scents, smells, as well as sights were amplified. "Now what Rora? How do I spend this new found energy?" Smiling slightly, Casimir stood to face the white haired woman.

Usually Priscilla would have been outraged by Seiri's familiarity. She couldn't bring herself to be, when he was so gallant and pleasant with her. A small blush crept up her cheeks at his compliment. It was so unusual, this whole situation was. This was a deliberate rebellion against her father, and quite a large one for Priscilla. He would be outraged that her virtue could now be questioned by everyone! Laughing a little at the thought as she was twirled away from her partner, the young woman calmed herself and returned to smiling.

Unconsciously pressing herself inappropriately close to the tall man she danced with, the young woman could feel her heart beating with the thrill of this. Keeping up with Seiri's chosen dances with ease, a pall of disappointment flitted across Pris's heart. They would need to return inside to that crowd of pompous old men. Her father would never let her stay by the side of a newcomer.

Aurora shrugged, honestly she wasn't sure what to do in the first place. What was there to do anyway? "What can we do...?" She murmured softly, glancing him over in passing. Pausing as she turned to head to the door, the petite vampire slowly grinned a sultry grin as she thought of something. She did like him anyway. Moving to him at a human's pace, with a definite sensual sway to her hips, she arched her back as she leaned forward to drape her arms on his shoulders. Licking her lips, she pressed her body against his, leaning up on her tip toes to lick at his lips before lightly kissing him and nipping at his bottom lip. "Play with me?" Rora whined softly, one hand moving from his shoulders to unclasp her top and shimmy out of it then move to work on undoing her skirt. Standing there naked for the most part, still had underwear and a strapless bra on, she went back to her earlier actions.

Getting tired of just kissing, Aurora pulled away with a sigh. Not that is showed on her face. No, she still held that sultry grin, and turning, she lead him to the bed. Climbing up she laid out in the middle, one leg hanging over the edge, her other bent, one arm resting on the knee as she reclined back on her left elbow, her body open to his gaze. "Strip. And entertain me?" She murmured huskily, lust and need coloring her voice.

The raven grinned down at the girl, though he was sure it was tinged with a little lust. But even if she was human, it'd been many a year since he'd been with someone and Priscilla was indeed very pretty. To him it was normal to be attracted to her, nor did it help with her being inappropriately close to his form. "My Lady, I wish we could dance the night away like this, but it will get cold soon and you will freeze." Slowly twirling them to a halt and stepping away to bow slightly, common courtesy after all. "I would be remiss as a young Lord to let that happen." He added, this time offering his arm to her to escort her better. And to better make sure that when they enter the main hall she would not be able to escape him.

Seiri may have been falling for this princess, but he still had a mission to complete and nothing would prevent him from completing it. Plus he actually got a bonus out of it, a pretty young woman to entertain him. Grinning happily as he walked slowly, but not terribly so, back to the hall that would lead them to the main dancing room, his mind was busy with all the possibilities that could go wrong or occur.

The dark haired man grinned a little as the vampire moved over to him. Sighing softly into her kisses, the bodyguard placed his hands upon her hips and pulled her close against him. Murmuring soft words, Casimir wore a disappointed expression when Rora moved away from him. Though soon enough a mischievous grin flitted across his features. "I suppose I could ..." Licking his lips lightly the young man began removing his clothing slowly till he wore only his dark colored pants. Clambering onto the bed, he pressed himself against Rora and began to nibble lightly at her neck while running his hands over her body.

The young woman wore a rather resigned expression as Seiri spoke. She didn't want to leave, because that meant that their pleasant time together would be over. As they came to a halt, her golden eyes rested upon the arm he offered for a few moments before Priscilla reached out to place her hand there with a charming smile. "I suppose you're right, though I hope we'll get this change again." She liked his company.

Priscilla had no idea what Seiri was planning. If she had, the young woman would never have accepted to accompany the raven. By now it was too late, and there was no way of going back. She was rather fascinated with him, and wondered silently what he was like outside of such circumstances.

((I think we can safely put them in a time lapse fade to black thing. Them being Rora and Caz. No need to scare the kiddies. ^_^))

"Of course we will." He replied, smiling softly, friendly even. The raven was most definitely a master of masks, easily able to hide his emotions away, to trick and fool his victims, yet right now, not all of it was a mask. As they moved closer to the dancing hall, Seiri let a slightly mischievous grin take over his smile as hed quickened his step a smidge, spun around to grab her other hand and gently lead her in to the crowd of already dancing people. This, he was counting on, would most definitely cause some issues. He could already hear the other male guests whipsering just as furiously as the females, and as he twirled around with her, every so often he caught the glare of her father, the hosting Lord.
