This is what I've done the last 2 years. I think I did gold for the stamping outlines last year though.

Oh wow, that looks amazing!!! Did you do it using a stamp?

Yeah, I think it's called reverse or advanced stamping and I basically pick up the design with a stamp, fill in the color while the design is still on the stamp, then use a clear coat over the design to make a decal that goes on the nails.
And I use a dotting tool for the holly berries.

Awww, thanks! It's not too hard to do, mostly it just takes a lot of patience. And good lighting, lol.
I can't free-hand paint designs, but I'm pretty good with stamping stuff.

I did some gaming nails a couple years ago with the reverse stamping that I want to redo eventually too. One hand was dice for tabletop gaming and the other hand was video game items.

Ooh that sounds like fun! I got rid of most of my stamps because I got frustrated with doing it but I do still have a couple that my mom gave me for Christmas.

I keep collecting stamp plates and then just...only using the same handful of designs because they're my faves.

I should do more with the rest.

My main go-to are my coffee cat ones.
But I got some book ones last year that I want to do stuff with eventually. I tried when I got them, but most of the designs were being stubborn. so I just did a single design that time. Stacks of books.

I'd love to see the gaming nails.

My only issue with them is that I didn't think about it until they were done, but I made the dice decals wrong so the numbers are backward.

They are still very awesome.

Kaderin Triste: Holy Moly you are so skilled! The designs and the colours you've chosen together look so good. Would you ever consider painting fake nails to sell? I see people do that. Themed nails would be popular.

I have had fake nails twice in my life. Neither time ended well. The first time was for prom and I broke then end off. The second time was for graduation and after, during our senior all nighter I broke the nail half way down. That was the last time I wore them.

I did actually think about selling fake nails a while ago, but haven't done any real planning since.
I think mainly because at the time there were fewer press on/fake nail size options so I would have had to create a cohesive set that came with more nails than necessary.

Just browsing Etsy recently, it looks like that's changed. I may have to give it some more thought.
Not that I need any more hobbies...but it could be fun.

I've been getting acrylics for about a year. It helps me not scratch at my skin too much but they really weaken my nails so I'm trying to give them a break and let my natural nails grow out.
