In El'Saria, all types of magic exist. From the woodland elves to the cliff dwelling trolls, salamanders crawling through the deserts, and vampires that rule the nights--all here live in their own peace. The forest animals respect the hunters as the hunters respect them. For every good magic, there is an evil one. It is all balanced into a lawful society.

One day though, a great black rift is opened in the Southern sky. From it, a chaos begins to pour out. It is not something that can be seen with the naked eye, but from the smallest blades of grass, it begins to take affect. The forest animals start to mutate, one by one, into monsters unlike anything they have seen before. Without ability to reason, they attack and destroy with no purpose other than to corrupt. The chaos only grows, corrupting more and more of this peaceful world.

But the most interesting thing is how it started. In a small village set at the base of a range of mountains, that is where it all begins, on a day like any other in the peaceful land...

About this RP

This group is a large scale high fantasy rp. While most of it will be played by a single main group of 'adventurers', there is room for side plots, secondary evils, and other groups away from the main group.

All fantasy species are welcome whether they suit high fantasy, unusual mythologies, or your own creation. However, there are no humans in El'Saria. Those that might appear to be human are magic users of some sort at the least, such as mages and priests. The main group will set out on a journey together so there is also room to pick up new characters or enemies at any point along the way. Because of this, the rp will always remain open for new players or current players to add new characters. I ask only that new comers read through all of the current story so as not to disrupt any ongoing plots.

The profile skeleton will be placed below as well as in the actual rp where further details are listed. Don't forget to check it out as well!

I will be starting this very soon in the new year so to whoever might be interested, get your characters in and your writing hands ready. The plot will accelerate very fast. It will be easier to be there at the start or very, very near it unless you want to join after they leave the town.
