Here's the first chapter... I'll wait a few days before posting the second one.
Chapter 1: The Beginning

It had been twelve years, twelve whole years since I had seen him last. He would be twenty-two now, always two years older than I. I wanted to see him again, but knew well that that would never happen. So here I was, twenty years old, and still absolutely lost in a world without him. It wasn't as if we had been lovers or even boyfriends, that would have been silly. He was my first kiss though; I can still feel him pressing against my then eight year old flesh. I missed it then, that feeling, that self worth, and I miss it even more now. I wonder always, constantly, what it would have been like if that woman wouldn't have seen us, if she wouldn't have told our parents. He would have never moved, I don't think. He wouldn't have left me.

He walked down the crowded New York street, his large camouflage bag slung over his broad shoulder. He was frantically reading the building numbers, hoping that he hadn't missed his. He knew that missing it would be likely to happen, he had always been good at losing things. But then he found it, the dark red, brick building rising high above him.

The dark haired boy stepped towards the front door and his green eyes read through the intercom list. He finally found the name he was looking for, the name of the landlord. He brought his hand to the buzzer, watching it shake the entire way to the little white button. It buzzed loudly.

"Hello?" The person sounded groggy. "What do you want? I didn't order anything."

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you up." The boy hesitated. He didn't want to upset his landlord on the first day. "I'm your new renter."

"Oh!" The opposite voice was instantly excited and awake. "I spose you don't have a key. I'll be down in a second. I'm so sorry." He chuckled and shut the intercom off.

The boy stood at the door, his heavy duffel bag slipping slowly off of his shoulder. His back hurt and his feet were tired, as was he. Then he saw a red-head boy bouncing down the stairs. The door opened.

"You must be the new guy!" The lithe figure seemed to flutter.

"I am." The green-eyed boy replied.

The red head waved the other inside. "Come in! Come in! Your bag looks super heavy." He shut the door when the dark haired boy stepped inside. "Do you need any help? I'm Jasper by the way."

"I know that you're Jasper, and I've got it. All I have is this so--" His voice cut out. He stared into the eyes of his landlord, who was surprisingly young. His eyes were a deep swirling blue, a familiar shade of cerulean. He knew those eyes. "Have I met you somewhere before?"

The red head twisted a strand of his messy hair. "I don't think so. But anyways, you look really tired. I'll show you to your apartment right away." The boy spun on his heel and lead the other up the spiral stairs.

Yeah... That's all.

I'm sorry it's so short.

I'm the same way...

I've started well over 30 novels and I write poetry on occasion. It's really depressing and angry though...

BAH...

The stuff about my boyfriend is nice though.
