Need more restaurants near our home!

Need more mom and pop restaurants. One of my favorite mom and pop shops has their son running it now and it's just not the same

There are a lot of restaurants everywhere here, it's just hard to find ones that are good but doesn't cost an arm and leg to eat at.

I don't know what this convo is about really but I can say that where I live in NC sucks for food. Literally not one place that's affordable is decent. And yet EVERY place we went to in Oregon, even fast food, especially fast food actually, was perfect. It's really bad when you burn yourself on the food because you're not used to it being hot when you get it

That sounds horrible. At least the food is hot here when we get it, hygiene aside

The dreaded timer has appeared!

To jump in on the food talk, there is a restaurant here that is called Blue Adobe and they are New Mexico southwestern cuisine. We take anyone and everyone visiting from out of town to that place. Decently priced, food is rocking and they are very courteous and quick. Carne Adovada is beyond scrumptious.

I wish there were more Mexican restaurants here. I have only found one over all these years and that one closed down a while ago.

Come visit, my husband and I will gladly take you to the yummy mexican food place.

Today felt like a Friday, bummed me out when it turned out to be only Wednesday. Ugh.

I wish I could. No monies for moving and expenses.

Yeah, I keep checking the calendar, but no, it's Thursday. At least I'll just have to get through two more days before it's the weekend.

You're not in the United States, right? I can't always remember where the folks reside. Assuming since you said it was Thursday that you are out of country from me.

I did ask a friend of mine who was travelling to the states to get me some Skittles since the packets here are so tiny and expensive, and she came back with a 1.3 kilo packet of Skittles.

Yeah, I had so much fun eating them all. Skittles is one of my favorite candies. Reese's peanut butter chocolate cups and those really sour candies (Airheads? I can't remember what they're called) are also my favorites.

I miss Airheads. Why don't they ever sell the good stuff here. No Mexican food, no Airheads, no ranch-flavored Doritos...

Will the horror of what you don't have ever stop, Antagonist? Seems such a shame to live there. Are there at least some good things to look forward to?
