She shook her head. "No. I don't care about you or anything you have to say." she told him. She laid back on the bed and put the pillow over her face. She just wanted to be left alone for now and the rest of her life. It wasn't like anybody actually cared about her anyway.

Isacc started to laugh. When he calmed down, he said "that's sort of ironic, because I care about you and everything you have to say." He looked down at his arm. "A past patient did this to me, got a hold of a knife or something. Tore my arm up so bad the docs had to amputate..." His voice trailed off, leaving an eerie silence in the room.

Alexis rolled her eyes. She really didn't believe that the doctor actually cared about her. They never did. They just wanted to hurt her. Though she wasn't really surprised at what the patient did. She herself has tried to kill one of her doctors. That guy was gone the next day. Which was what she had wanted in the first place. She didn't like him from the moment she had saw him.

"That patient now lives right next door to my apartment." Isacc said, continuing on. "His name is Micheal, and I stuck with him till the end. Just like I'm sticking with you."

Alexis sighed slightly to herself. That's what all the doctors have told her. And they never did. They always stayed a little while before leaving her all alone.

"I'm in here all day you know." Isacc scratched his head. "might as well do somethin'"

"Do what? There isn't anything to do in here." Alexis said, sitting up and looking at him.

Isaac knocked on the door. "Guard, you got any games?" He asked through the door.
"They're all down in the minimum security sector, patients up here aren't allowed having them." Came the reply.

"Get me one anyway." He called back.
"But!"
"Just do it! Who's the bloody doctor, you or me?"
The guard grumbled something and stamped off. Isaac looked back at his patient and smiled. "See, there is stuff we can do, just gotta ask nicely." Isaac gave her a wink.

Alexis watched as the doctor went over to the door and asked for a game. She was surprised that the guard actually agreed to get him one. Though it would probably help pass the time.
"No matter how nice I ask, nobody does what I want." she stated.

Isaac raised an eyebrow. "Well, you did try and kill me, so I'm not surprised." he said, still smiling. The guard slid a brown cardboard box through the slot with a grunt. "what have we here?" said Isaac more to himself than to Alexis. He opened the box.
"I hope you know how to play chess." he said.

Alexis thought about it. "I think I might know how to play. But if I do its been years. So you'd have to remind me of the rules." she stated, moving over to her bed so that they could sit on it while playing the game.

"feeling cooperative, are we?" Isaac said, spilling the contents of the box on the bed. "Want to be white or black?"

"Not really. Just bored." Alexis stated. "And it doesn't matter."
