For opening day acts... looks like we need some serious teamwork. Today is difficult!

i am here now... i lost my internet at like 130 this morning and it hasn't come back yet... i had to drive 2 towns over to my mom's so i could steal her internet... but i forgot my battery plug in thingy so i don't have much time!

for the promotion part i was thinking of doing task 1 cause that seems quicker to me... so that's okie...
but the backstage stuff.... hmmmmm.... i wanted to do one of the big ticket items but i only have 3.5 hours till i have to go..... oh and for the last backstage task, the one about making clothes in a certain period; do we have a color and costume design (like is that part of another task) or can i just make it up?

are we assigning for the opening act stuff yet?

The opening act stuff has to be done in pairs.

8. Your team is tired of planning for the street performance. You guys don't want to get too far off track so one team member comes up with the idea of looking to the past.
Pick a time period and place. Find a picture that shows the fashion of the time and place. Then, redesign the fashion of the time your team picked into a costume that could be used in your street circus. Must include at least 3 articles of clothing (must be main articles like shirt, pants, dress, skirt). Submit the time period, place, and picture that you researched as well as the finished costume.
Worth $50.

If you wanna do it, go for it. I can do the one for pets since I have cats. I'll just make an awful paint drawing on top of one of them xD

I'm out of the shower and working on half of Act #1 -

1. Time to get into costume! Gather Mene avatars from yourself and at least 1 of your team members in which you\they are wearing a costume to perform in. You and they must write 300 words each as to why you\they chose that costume and what it lends to your\their performance. Post the avatars and quoted explanations all at once.

One of the Jesters’ more delicate and sophisticated performances is called the Lady of the Puddle’s Amazing Snorkeling and Underwater Fish-Taming Act! In this act, lady Belly does a high wire dive into a small puddle, snorkels her way down to the bottom, and proceeds to tame a ferocious goldfish who then becomes her willing servant for 3.9 minutes!

What makes this act unique is not only that it occurs primarily underwater, but that the Lady of the Puddle performs her amazing feat of fish-taming while covered in roses (which is uncomfortable what with the poking of the thorns and all that) and while wearing a brass monocle (which makes her head slightly heavier than it would ordinarily be)!

As the designer, I will now discuss the components of the costume. Belly’s hair must be wrapped and flattened down so that she may wear a sleek diving wig in a bright green, one of the traditional theme colors of the Feast of Fools. She will apply large yellow flowers at each temple (another of the Feast’s lovely colors), as well as donning a generous waist sash in the same shade of yellow that gently cascades downward from her round bottom to her heels. Now here’s where the outfit becomes a bit dangerous: her brave teammate Linnea will then begin to gently wind a brambly vine of wild roses around her body, from head to toe. We chose pink for a touch of femininity. Belly must be very careful not to sneeze at this point, so Keyori will have to stuff a small marshmallow into each nostril (and hopefully remember to remove them later). The final touches will be to assemble the special snorkel, made with bits of an old steampunk hat, and then affix the special brass diving monocle. Voila!
