umm so my apartment flooded...the fucking water heater sprung a leak overnight and we woke up to a nightmare on saturday morning

we just got home earlier today, i replied to some PMs and logged out to try and sleep because i haven't slept for two days

i don't feel well at all

Oh dear gods, that sounds bad DX. I hope important stuff wasn't damaged....

I think we caught it early enough...mostly the carpet was wet and stuff in the laundryy room (the water heater is tucked in a closet in the laundry room.


We'll be looking for the damages today and through the rest of the week but mostly we just need to move stuff to new boxes afaik.

Well, that's good that it wasn't too bad, I guess ^^;.

Mebbe use plastic totes instead of cardboard from now on, just in case....?

My mom packed her most important papers in a plastic box instead of the cardboard ones for that exact reason!

I'm planning on moving all my books out of cardboard boxes and into plastic ones, gradually.
...I got about, ohh...somehwere around a thousand books in my personal library. A thousand. I really, really need to lay off on book buying for a while......

I always eat what I want....not. But from halloween to new years my diet suffers.

Diets, hah...aren't those the things people go on when they want to starve themselves? No...?

Diets are what doctors prescribe to people with heart disease and diabetes so they will live longer....so they have longer to miss all the good food they aren't supposed to eat any more!

I might have diabetes. they're checking my a1c again in 3 months. i've cheated a bit here and there but i've almost completely cut out soda. only time i drink it is if there's absolutely nothing else but unfiltered tap water (which makes me a little queasy cos it has a funny taste)
