[The School Secret Library]
(RESTARTED)

Story Line: After school that when the fun Begin and the books come alive. This role play take place in library when all the people have gone. Each character is some one from a book expect for the lone librarian who rooms the halls and re stocks the shelves. Those he not alone the books talk to him and some day get to out of hand. Will the librarian be able to control the characters and put them back in to there books before the next day comes.

Rules:

1) No god modding
2) Pm me your character sheets
3) I am god in this role play listen to me
4) Type Special Cakes in the title of your pm for your character sheet
5) Please pg 13 if you want more take it off site
6) Post at least 4 lines of text or more I know some time you have writers block so 1 will do but try to do more.

13) The Liberian has control of the turning book charater to pages if they get to out of head. When the Liberian dose this the character is sent right back to there book no matter the time of day. The book character can come back out at night.
14) Any book character who not in a book with in 48 hours turns in to a page and will never see there book again or get out of the page. Until GM grant a temp power to Liberian to do some thing about it but it is rare I would choose to do this.

Note to new people. There are 5 floor up where ever one can go and read books and one basment open to the public. Then there are 26 basement floors for the dangerous books seal from the public view.

Now a group of travelers most set this right and kill the Evil lord and place the rightful prince on the throne. Those the rightful prince turns out to be Mathrew as he was the bastard son of the king.

Heo promised to watch over Mathew and has been ever since.

Personality: Abused and tortured, he's a bit paranoid and jumpy in a almost claw you when you come up behind him way.
Powers: He has a dark power, it mostly just gives him strength and speed as well as heightening his senses, although he can do some spells with the right sidgils drawn.

Dislikes: restraints, scientists, military types, power crazed fools, surprises.
Back-story: A futuristic world, where some magic still lasted. they used the darker species for scientific experiments in order to harness their magic as a power source. Very few mythical creatures were left, Karter being one, he was captured as a boy along with his mother. She was brutally killed as a result of a failed experiment in front of him. Only for them to re-tune it and then stick him in. Lucky, or unlucky, for him it didn't kill him and he was trapped powering their weapons and cities. In his story he eventually escapes with a government rebel faction and helps to topple the system.
Others: He is a type of demon, but not evil, it just refers that he is a night creature.

The tall black haired male was busy organizing some of the books on the tables. He had once again stayed up late, but it was well worth it, as he enjoyed some of the tales the books had to offer. He grinned lightly, his dark gray eyes light up even in the dim glow. He did know there were some students still wandering around the large library, but that was to be expected. Ain closed his eyes a little, letting his ears pop out. He usually hid them in order to not scare the normal humans. Making his way back to his desk, he put away the books in his arms on the shelves. "Wonder who's gonna come out and play now." he muttered, smirking lightly.

The time was now mid-night and the books had come to life once more. There were a few student studying late in the up stair reading rooms. The place was very different at night the lights were turn down low so that people would know it was near time for the place to close down. Mathew had just beeen pulled out of his book and he was laying on top of a book shelf with 12 books all around him flowing as they seem to be reading them self right in to Mathew's ear with him being able to understand everything they said at once.

Refilwe sighed. He had stayed to late again. He wondered why the custodian didn't bother to lock the school. Though he supposed it was for students like him who decided that keeping track of the time wasn't a good idea. He rubbed between his eyes. He could almost feel the headache he was going to have when his mother worried at him. It was nothing new. Tired and a little irritated he shifted the book in his hands. He wanted to finish it before he left but that seemed impossible. No matter he could read another day. It wasn't like the thing was going anywhere.

Carefully he pushed himself from the floor to stand. Twisting he popped his back and loosened his arms as he searched for the area where he got it from. Refilwe supposed it might have been a good idea to remember that before finding a place to sit but he would find it eventually.

Ain blinked a little, his ears perking as he heard something from one of the hallways. He raised an eyebrow as he turned back around. Trying to recall if anyone had stayed there that hadn't come out, he lost it. He almost sighed, shaking his head before he started walking that way. Maybe it was one of the others. He grinned a little. Already out to play, Usually they didn't take this long. He walked down the hall, his shoes making a very soft noise as they hit the hard floor. "Hello?" he asked, somewhat cheerfully as he saw the figure of one of the boys. He seemed to be wandering around. "Are you lost?"

Mathew was laughing and making a fair amount of noise laying on the top of the book shelf. The Book he was read where alot of fun and he enjoy them alot. He like coming out of his book because in his book it was only the first part of a book of three and well his story near end it seem. Mathew place a few of the book he was reading back he now had 6 floating books around them. As he smiled happily.

Lily sauntered into the library slowly, walking towards one shelf. She had a book report due for one of her classes, a historical fiction book report. Her cover as a kid living in a group home as a ward of the state was working fairly well but that meant she actually had homework. Frowning at the boring titles she shook her head, glancing over her shoulder as she heard a laugh. Walking up to Matthew she’d look over him thoughtfully, tilting her head to the side. “I do not think you are supposed to laugh in libraries like that…” she said with a soft smirk.

Refilwe glanced around the library. How odd. He hadn't remembered going this way. Maybe he had and wasn't paying attention. He had a tendency of doing that. Much like his mother who was always content to just wander around aimlessly until she found what she was looking for. No matter. His eyes scanned the bookshelves trying to find the particular shelf he had gotten his book from when he heard someone call out to him. Blinking rapidly he turns around to address them. He blinks again when he finds its the librarian. The man had black hair and gray eyes. Nothing odd there but the ears he could just see were.

Curious as he was he would not question it. There were other times for that, right now he was focused on finding a place for this book. "Ah..yes..." He mutters eyes slightly tired. He reaches up to rub them sleepily. He must have been more tired then he thought. "I was looking for where this book went." he says motioning to the book in his hand. By now he could hear others here. Well rather another here. They were being rather loud. Didn't they know they were in a library even this late at night especially since it was empty it echoed. But again that was not his problem and he was not one to dictate, especially since they were enjoying a book. He could relate to that.

"Ah stop being a spoil sport its fun to read." He smiled to the girl as his book still floated around his head. Mathew did not care he was useing his magic in public where he came from that was an everyday thing. "So what bring your here?" He said lending over the book shelf and looking at her. "So there useally not many people around here at this time of night." He watched her carefully. "So....."

Ain grinned lightly, nodding as he went closer to the boy. His ears went in the direction of the noise. He knew one of those voices. It was that Lily girl. She always came over, he could have sworn he'd seen her character in a book. The question was where the book was, since he never did find it again. Which was rather odd. He turned his attention back to the boy. Stopping once he was close, he glanced down at the book. He held out his hand in question, to see if he'd hand the book to him. "I can help with that."

Ain smiled somewhat. He knew where most of the books went, if not where exactly, at least the section. It was the least he could do to help. He was amazed at the fact that he was still here though. Most normal students left a lot earlier. Mostly because of their parents. "Lost track of time?" he asked, studying him a little. He didn't seem like someone out of a book. And, if he was, there would be no need for him to be so tired.

“book report.” She answered quietly, leaning against the book shelf with her hands crossed over her chest as she continued to smirk at him. He was cute, intelligent… but sure attached to the word So. Rolling her eyes and chuckling she’d quote a rather antiquated phrase “Oh sew buttons on your underwear as my great grandmother would say.”

It was a silly habit.. But her nature. Finally she answered simply as she glanced towards the other voices. The librarian and someone else… she hated how the librarian looked at her. As if he knew something…. “Book report…historical fiction. What’s the point of being fiction if it has to be based in reality?” She’d say with a look of annoyance, tossing her dark hair a moment. "And you?" She added teasingly, smiling faintly.

"That a odd saying." He smiled. "Well I reading books of course." Mattwen did not stop the books form talking o him and floating around him. "Well I like to know who in this place after dark. Seeing not many are here." Mathew shruged then used his magic to set the book back on the shelf then flip off the shelf and landed on his feet. "Well its all fun to read and do book report even if they are base on reality."

“Read books yes, do book reports…?” She made a phase of disgust, clearly not agreeing. Shaking her head she tilted her head to the side as he flipped, curious a moment. He really did nothing to pretend to be ‘normal’ … then again did he really have any reason? He was the hero not the sacrifice for others greed…others desires for immortality. She shook off the thought, suppressing a shudder. No she wouldn’t think about that. “Yeah…. Kinda empty today isn’t it?” She said quietly, giving a cheerful smile.

Refilwe nodded to him and handed him the book. He resisted the urge to yawn again. It would do him no good to get too tired. He would have grinned but his face felt heavy. He pulled his hair back over his shoulder. His eyes fluttered shut before opening again. he wondered who is was who was making the noise though. He was amused and curious as to what it was they were laughing about.

He wondered what he mother would say when the sun rose tomorrow. She wouldn't be too angry. She would probably just be happy he was out of the house but she would be disappointed that it was spent at the library. "Ah yes... I was.." He wasn't really sure what to say really. He had been a bit scatterbrained.

He smirked lightly as he took the book gently. He glanced down before opening it, to the title page. His eyes brightened up a little before he tilted his head at the boy. "I could put it away if you would like. Mr, um..." he started, finishing off unsurely. He didn't know the boy's name, thus he really couldn't finish it off. "What's your name?" he asked. He glanced over at the other room where the others were. He almost sighed. Normally he didn't like the voices being too loud, but then again. Nobody was supposed to be here after hours.

He blinked a few more times. There were Refilwe blinked tilting his head the other way. "Ah thank you. I am Refilwe and you are?" He asks politely. What time was it? He didn't really know. He forgot to get his watch and his phone was off. What ever time it was it had to have been very late. Was there a clock out here somewhere. There probably was but he was too tired to try and find one. It could be in front of him and he might not see it. He ran his hand through his hair. "I apologize for being her so late." He murmurs tying his hair back.

He smiled, giving a small bow. "My name's Ain. I'm.. Well, the librarian at the school." he said chuckling a little. He looked at him curiously before shaking his head. "No need to worry. I lose track of time as well when reading." he said, waving the apology off. There wasn't any reason to be sorry for that sort of stuff. He did notice that Refilwe was tired. With reason to be. "Do you need anything else? Or, do you know the way out from here?" he asked, smiling lightly. The library was rather large, and some people did tend to get lost easily. Especially when their minds wandered.

Mathew smiled. "Well report help make your mind stonger. It aloud you to work through what you have read and make a clear answer on paper so other know you understood it. Those Some thing it just let them know what you got from it even if it didn't make since to them." He laughed. "Well I am off to find more books when to come with maybe I could help you pick out one for your report." He smiled.

((it happens, night *huggles*))

I wouldn’t object to the help….” She said with a shrug, watching him a moment. She then turned, touching the spine of a nearby book. “Historical fiction…”Frowning she shook her head, stepping away a moment. She let him go to gather his books, walking along the lines and stroking a finger gently along the book spines as she gazed at them in thought.

"Becareful stroking the spines of books hey could start to woke up or purr." He laughed thinking of a book on cats he had done that too. Mathew smiled and looked back at the girl moving closer to her. "So what do you want to wrtie about for the class is there a topic you like the most?"

Refilwe nodded dropping his head to his hands to his sides. He sighed again rubbing his forehead. "Right, right." He nodded trying to keep himself awake. He would have to make it home on his own. It wasn't that it would be hard, but it was a bit of aways off. Not that he was going to complain about it. he had had midnight trecks before,

Refilwe would just have to extra careful. So in response he shook his head at the man taking to adjusting his shirt instead. His fingers smoothed over the white cotton shirt he had thrown on this morning. It didn't even seem to fit him really. but it was in his drawer and he hadn't had much time to think.

“I wouldn’t’ mind if they purred…” She said with a laugh, running a hand through her shaggy hair a moment in thought. She only reacted as he moved close, briefly seeming to hesitate and almost step back. Despite her having adjusted so to the life of a ‘normal human’ that she pretended to be some things stayed.. Including the fact that a person unexpectedly close to her made her.. Nervous due to past abuses. Her blood had been able to grant immortality after all so for even a drop was worth putting her through hell in the greed’s mind.

Forcing it away she’d actually move closer to him, pretending it’d been a shy flirting attempt or something. She shrugged and answered his question then, laughing a bit. “I honestly don’t know… it has to be on a work of historical fiction is the only requirement…. Maybe something with a little bit of humor if there is one, every historical fiction I find is dull dull dull.” She laughed and shook her head.

(off to work be back around 6pm my time. Est)

Mathew smiled when she move closer, but then again he wasn't thinking she was flirting with him. He just thought she was trying to be friendly. "Well let see... wha ype of books are those...." He thought.. "There Brad Hooper - Read On...Historical Fiction: Reading Lists..." He read off a few more names. "Martha Tuck Rozett - Constructing a World: Shakespeare's..., Laurence Yep - Dragonwings. Frankenstein, Scarlet Letter or The Da Vinci Code: Fact or Fiction," He simple said off the top of his head. "Well I like the Scarlet Letter my self and The Da Vinci Code one was neat." He laughed happily. "Now you can't forget Frankenstein that a good book. So do any of the titles I list help you at all?"

He blinked, raising an eyebrow. forget sleepy, he must have been dead tired. He didn't really even answer his questions correctly. "Need a ride to your house?" he asked, checking the time on his watch. It was almost one am. Not really the best time to be walking around alone. Especially in that condition. he could probably get hit by a car and not know it. "I mean, it's not a good idea to walk home by yourself. Get hit by a car, get kidnapped. Get killed, there's a lot of bad stuff out there and it wouldn't do any good going alone." he said, starting to ramble a little, but luckily he caught himself. No need to scare people away.

“Never heard of them but I’ll check them out I suppose… cant hurt.” She said simply, shrugging. She’d never heard of most of them but she could at least read the covers and find out some information. Who knows… maybe there’d be one she might actually enjoy. “It gives me a starting point so I’d say that’s helpful…” She said with a chuckle.
