What's this thread about? It's quite simple.
We know how awesome it is to get avatar or OC art from people, but being a newbie, you probably can't afford all the fancy dancy stuff, right?
Well, here's the simple solution: the Newbie Art Thread!

Want to know what the deal is?
Here, there are a few artists who are willing to draw avatars or original characters for newbies.
It doesn't matter how much clothing you have on; what matters is that you are nice and whatnot. =3

You don't have to be a newbie to post here, or even to get art.
If, perchance, you come in here and aren't really classified as a newbie (meaning you've been here for more than a month), and one of the artists likes you, your avatar, or your original character, then it is very possible you may get drawn. =3

Edit! I decided, if you have less that 200 gold, you are also eligible to get art. Newbie or not, if you have less than 200 gold, you are more likely to get art than if you have like, 2000!

We're a good bunch... but we still have rules.

  2. Be polite.
  3. Be patient. We all have lives here.
  4. Don't come in here demanding art. It's pretty easy to tell that you want art if you post here.
  5. Stick around and chat. We like that here. =3
  6. Please, no chat speak. It's annoying.
  7. Use proper grammar if you can, please.
  8. I can add rules at any time so keep checking back.

I'm sorry, but you guys were too inactive. Only reason Ani gets to stay is because she helped me with some things while setting up, also she's been the most active for the most part!!

*A note for the people who come in here looking for art. You can't choose who draws you if any. It all depends on if you are nice, and if any of the artist's like you or your Avi/Oc. Please, don't be angry if you don't get drawn by who you want to be drawn by. Thank you.

Here's the deal, though: you have to be a newbie (in other words, you must have a month or less of experience on Menewsha) to win, unless otherwise specified.

As it stands, we don't actually have any contests going since this thread is still new. But keep checking back, because there will be some later on!

Heheh, I didn't realize the posts
alternated colors. ^^;

Hmm?

I filled in the background of the headers
with the color that matches the posts
so they wouldn't look like white blocks. xP
But I didn't realize that the post backgrounds
alternated colors (the first one is light, next one is dark),
so a couple of the headers' colors were off.
