"For now," Natalie said, nodding. "Although he should be coming home relatively soon. His apprenticeship is almost over."

Indy nodded. "I'm interested to see how he grew up. Man, it's been years since I've seen him." She grinned briefly. "So how many marriage proposals has he had yet?"

Natalie snorted.

"Eight," she replied. "Although they get redirected to me, since he's out of the country." She rolled her eyes. "He's probably got some over there, too."

Indy laughed at that, grinning hugely. "I bet he loves it," she said, grinning. "I remember he always used to be the center of attention at those parties, especially with the girls, even when we were younger."

"He's followed up on all of them," Natalie pointed out. "Although... he wasn't interested in any of them, after the first meetings."

"I guess he didn't imprint on any of them, then," Indy said with a shrug. It was commonly known that almost 90% of the population imprinted, although it took longer for some people than for others. And no one ever imprinted until after puberty had hit and settled some.

"Not one," Natalie confirmed. She remembered how disappointed her brother had been after each meeting; Hunter was a bit of a romantic and really wanted to find his One.

"Speaking of, what about you? Have you found your One and got him stashed away somewhere?" Indy's grin was teasing.

"You think I have time to be dating?" Natalie asked. She shook her head. "No, not yet." She sighed. She didn't foresee herself finding her One any time soon.

Indy nodded. "Me, neither," she said quietly. "Ah, well. We're still young, there's plenty of time yet."

"True," Natalie said, nodding. She sighed a little bit and sipped her bubble tea, chewing on some of the tapioca pearls.

Indy finished up her tea and stretched before slumping back in her seat. "So, I'll swing by tomorrow with the plants, and we should keep getting together like this. It's fun. And not so demanding as parties."

"Parties are for networking, not fun," Natalie said, as if just stating fact. She paused for a moment. "We should do this more often, though, you're right."

Indy nodded. "We should make this a weekly thing. Or bi-weekly, depending how often we want to rant about work." She grinned.

"Either is fine," Natalie said, nodding. "I can typically get away once or twice a week, easily."

"Excellent." Indy smiled. "I'll let you know when I find a place to stay so I can start cooking properly again."

Natalie smiled a bit.

"Good," she said. "My personal chef isn't worth what I'm paying him."

"So get rid of him, you know there's no lack of personal chefs who would just love to work for you." Indy shrugged.

"I've been through four," Natalie said dryly. "In the last eight weeks. I think they're starting to get scared."

Indy snickered at that. "Well, I'll be sure to bring you over some things," she said with a grin. "If your tastes are still about the same, anyway."

"I haven't changed that much," Natalie pointed out. She grinned a bit. "I'm an enchantress, not a changeling."

Indy laughed quietly. "As soon as I find an apartment," she promised, grinning. She had a few ideas now, and she'd keep looking for places. She hoped to find one within a week.

"Let me know if you have any trouble with that," Natalie said. "Or if you need a place to stay in the meantime."

"I will, thanks." Indy smiled a bit. "I should probably get going, start looking for places and all that. And you should look for a new chef." She grinned teasingly.

Natalie rolled her eyes and stood up, leaving a tip on the table.

"I expect to hear from you," she said. "I'll have your order ready by the end of the week."
