I think for them it's more of a competition. Like how we have the Olympics, they have games to test their skills. Or something similar. Just a guess, though.

Could be some racing in there as well as quizzes. Speed and endurance as well as intellect. If they're going to be powering a sleigh they'll need to be both physically and mentally active.

Well... Even dragging something must take a lot of energy... They'll need to be physically fit. And then you need some understudies in case one of them got ill or injured. The games probably prepare anyone interested. That includes the children of the originals.

Almost ready to make another cup of coffee or tea. Kind of fighting the urge.
Also watching random dancing videos.

Thought about drinking eggnog now... But that might be a bad idea. Somehow it gets me a bit hyper and then I can't sleep. Coffee and tea do nothing to keep me awake. At least anymore... Kind of funny actually. :P
That has to be a relief if there was a lot of work to be done.

It's not for everyone. Just like soy milk isn't for everyone. You either like/love it, or you hate it. Acquired taste type of things.
Eggnog is usually made with raw eggs mixed with milk, cream, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg (which I have no idea of what it is).

That's what I've been told in the past. Some people, when making it themselves, however, heat it up in a saucepan before chilling. So I guess by doing that the eggs get cooked a bit. It all depends on the recipe I guess.

There are a few recipes online. Though, they take a while to make. Some of them say at least an hour. Sounds like a normal time actually. Everything has to thicken.
However, if you were to buy some already made, I'd go with a small carton just in case you don't like it. And also make sure others in your family do...
My mom did the same thing, but with soy milk. Hated it back then, but now after trying it again after so long, I'd acquired a taste for it. She or someone else drank the stuff I didn't like cause she/they actually liked it when I didn't.
One of those cautious moments.

I am lazy to cook...

Soy milk? I don't like soymilk... their sweetness kinda inflict my vomit sense.

Yeah... I'm a lazy cook, too. Though, I'll probably try one of those recipes anyway later in the year. Eggnog is one of those seasonal sale items. From around November-January only.
Soy milk that to me, too, a few years ago. Couldn't handle that upset stomach feeling and the after taste. Only recently have I discovered a brand I like, but shouldn't drink too much of it in one day. That's when the stomach issues start happening.

I wonder why I have this issue with soy milk...
I am fine with other sweets.
