There once was a boy, and a girl
Who were more than average in this big, strange world
With a determination by any means
To shoot for the stars
And live for their dreams
The girl, a writer, is what she dreamed
The boy, a hero, by any means
However the boy, the girl did know
Had a special shine whenever he'd show
Her heart would fill with a jealous rage
Whenever the boy would stride on stage
And all the stars within the sky
Could not match any of the stars in his eyes
Even in darkness, or amongst crowds, she would know
How to find the boy, by his precious aura's glow
And the girl would wonder to herself constantly, "Why?"
Why she had not the same sparkle in her eyes
Soon her determination for dreams turned to hate
With anger and violence in her wake
Whilst the boy would linger himself on
Wondering what exactly he had done wrong
For he had always from the start
Had followed the compass of his heart
Never to the girl did it occur
That the boy had longed only to impress her
So once upon a snowy night
Where not a single white cloud was in sight
Both boy and girl on a cliff did sigh
At the glamourous cosmic canopy painted up high
In the midst of the moment, in the midst of it all
The girl's anger had lifted, and a smile did form
Actions quickly happened, completely unplanned
Exchanging soft kisses, and taking one other's hand
Away from the troubles of this world
Together, suddenly diving into the deep blue sky
They, giving their final leap, their all
Showed each other how to fly.
